yet again the fans are taken for a ride by the club! why is the new away shirt FULL price even though it will be changed in a years time? i for one definitely wont buy it, but im sure there will be many happy fans who will, ready to shell out again next summer when the next one is issued wont there??

Surely everybody has a choice of buying the shirt or not, if you are happy to pay for the shirt buy one, if not dont.

Also if you purchase a home shirt you get £10 off away shirt price.

Not too bad if you ask me !

It''s done like that so in 2 years time you don''t have to buy 2 new kits, so after this year the home/away kits will alternate which one changes each year. Much better for the fans. Didn''t think of that one did ya?

At what point do you feel that fans are being taken for a ride?????

Before the shirt was even launched the club stated that it will only run for a year.

Giving all fans the choice on what to do.

 

I feel the only way the club can take fans for a ride is if they state that the shirt is to run for two years, but after one year say that it is being replaced.

Get over it, after all, you, like some other people on here will find something else to moan about tomorrow and the next day, and the next !!!!!!!!!!

i for one dont really care how long a shirt is ''active'' for. as long as i like the design, i really could care less. i''m long past having to keep up-to-date....

I''m not bothered that the new away shirt is only for one year. But I purchased the red away kit where it stated 2007/2009 so I''m not having that!!

.... in face I prefer wearing classic shirts to the new ones. And I only really buy shirts when they are on special and cheap before a new one is phased in. Hence I''ll be able get this one for £15 in a year! [:)]

its not really a rip off now is it. look at the prices of all other repica shirts and you will find they are all in the £40 bracket for an adult shirt. norwich city are not ripping us off, they are just pricing it at current market prices and they cant be blamed for that. if u dont want to pay that much then dont!!

Thank your lucky stars we don`t issue 3 or 4 shirts every year as the likes of Man. Utd  have done  in the past.

yeah maybe abit disapointed with it as would have liked it to run for longer than 1 year as i like it but there ya go. ask for it in ya xmas stocking then you wont care so much

Supply and demand, simple as that.

If you think its too expensive dont buy it, if enough people dont buy it they will reduce the price, if enough people buy it then its obviously a reasonable price.

I certainly wont get one, but if other people do then good for them. Im sure I spend more than £40 on things that other people would consider to be stupid (Kebabs, casino etc)

maybe as it is only going to be around for a year is it should have been sold at half price, i.e £20 not £40, if you get a tenner off the home shirt when you buy the away shirt it still works out at £70 for two, or £35 each, just another example of the club taking its loyal fans for a ride. maybe they could give a little more to the loyal fans who support them week after week just for once having something at a lower price would be a nice way to reward our loyalty instead of constantly trying to get more money out of us with the multiple shirts like they did last year when you had the special edition shirt issued. if they get all this money can we have it invested in players for once not infrastructure?

In all honesty, you wear a shirt to be proud of your team and to let people know you love the club, who gives a damn how long it is issued for and if they charge full price? Be a real fan and pay for the shirt you should love!
