Leicester S/T prices and a £25 charge for a physical ticket.

Recommended Posts

That is a liberty too. At least note though their baseline ST price even with the increase is about 25% less than NCFC and Leicester is a reasonably thriving City.

WTF are you running on about now ?

Professional Football spectating  is clearly much more affordable as a proportion of wealth in Leicestershire than in Norfolk

Wikipedia GVA by English County - Leicestershire 35,172 dollars, Norfolk 31,806 dollars. Convert to £ sterling. Minimum season ticket price 1.4 pence in the pound for Leicester compared to 2.1 pence in the pound for Norwich. That is why NCFC have to rely on so many out of county ST holders and why the Norfolk public won't hoover up casual seats at even more expensive prices for run of the mill matches.

Interesting to note that Nottingham Forest are increasing their cheapest season ticket from £465 to £550 which is an increase of 18%.

Now that is what you call a stick to wave around.

According to this, from an official government source, we're ahead of Leicester?

And unemployment is higher in Leicester by some way, but let’s not let facts get in the way lol

Where are the Norfolk specific figures there? East Anglia is not a reliable measure for Norfolk since Suffolk and Cambridgeshire especially the latter are much higher than both Leicestershire and Norfolk.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but it was on one of the tabs in the Excel file. I think Leicester was line 66 and Norwich was line 95.

If you take those specific lines end column table 2 your conclusion is correct for the Cities alone. At County level though you would need to include row 67 for Leics which reads far more favourably than rows 96 & 97 which would need to be included for Norfolk.

@Well b back FYi

Leicestershire GDP is around 10% higher than Norfolk GDP

Since when has the ONS published GDP by county? Region, yes, but not county.

Anyway, with your only business turning over just £7710 in 2023 and just £11130 in 2022, you might want to consider increasing your GHP (Gross Household Product) rather than trolling on forums all day.

Perhaps gives us an insight into why you are so desperate to see that mythical £100 share price and why you are worried about whether you'll be leaving your son enough money for him to be able to afford a season ticket.

As you were the person making the claim you ought to be the one providing the evidence really!

But then if you go one step further and compare by region (East of England v East Midlands) then we win again!

wiki is NOT a creditable source as any clown , such as yourself ,can alter anything on there, nice try, but big fail.

The man is an idiot, insult him and move on, do not engage with his pathetic arguments. A pariah....and a liar, who plucks 'evidence' out of his behind and wonders why we can smell it, dumb as a rock and twice as boring.

A factor to consider about cheapest season tickets is how many are available at that price.
