Amazed by the negativity. 8000 City fans in the away end of one of the great stadiums in world football, in a big game under lights?

What else do you want from being a football fan? Bring it on.

It’s just that it’s Liverpool, it’s always, always Liverpool. Same story every time.

When we do beat them I’ll dine out on it though

We already have to play them twice this season that's what, nevermind that they have a habbit of spanking us.. Honestly would have prefered a more fun draw like Peterborough

VAR have not given that as a penalty, would have been given at the other end no doubt.

Any other team that’s a penalty. Big teams buying the cup competitions and the league now.

How the hell were Cardiff not awarded a penalty there?......

It’s Liverpool and the right phone calls have been made to the right people

Who do Liverpool have the weekend after?  They may do likewise? 🤔

Okay, i may be getting ahead of things here if Cardiff do produce a shock, so 5th round match follows the EFL Cup final on the Sunday (Scousers are playing Chelski), they then have a match v West Ham on the Saturday.  So, if there is such a thing, a very good chance Klopp will field a weakened team.

They fielded a weakened team against us in the League Cup. Didn't exactly end well.

Loving the support of the Cardiff fans. Anfield predictably quiet and soulless. Full of tourists in half and half scarfs

I think Alexander Arnold has got money on them not scoring this half.

Seeing how far east the ball travels.....maybe?....

Lesson to be learned from the Cardiff fans

Liverpool play with so much emotion. It’s their biggest strength and weakness. Their fans and players always have tears in their eyes about one thing or another. It means they are always fighting for some “cause” but it’s their tell, you can exploit it.

When they make a mistake, get straight on it. Exaggerated, over the top jeers. It gets to them. They don’t like it up em’. Affects their focus and can lead to a mistake, they go a goal down and Van Dijk will have a paddy and throw his arms around and you have a chance.

Cardiff are in this. I’d love to see them nick one in front of their own fans in the Second Half.

Hugill off the bench for the winner would be something to get excited about.

So how is that not a red? High, out of control and dangerous…

Definite red 🤣🤣 the corruption is there to see and, like I said, it’s going to be a great documentary one day

Aah yes but presumably would then not be eligible to play against his parent club. Phew 🤣
