RobJames 883 Posted December 4, 2021 Have we ever had an attendance so low? And now a 650 round trip to Barrow. How much longer can Cookie boy and his band of 'lovable' scousers hang on?
cambridgeshire canary 6,758 Posted December 4, 2021 Yes, yes we have. We have had worse. First page ignored due to it being coronavirus related attendences.

Those all look to be away attendance? The first is obviously covid impacted as well. What’s the lowest genuine home fixture?

Branston Pickle 3,669 Posted December 4, 2021 I think we had pretty low attendances for the Full Members Cup back in the mid 80s, I seem to recall is playing Coventry with not too many there….but that tournament was pretty rubbish.
RobJames 883 Posted December 4, 2021 You have put up away attendances. Have some time away from the forum. It will do you good. 3 1
Canary Jedi 579 Posted December 4, 2021 I seem to recall something like 10,001 at home vs Luton in the league in the 80s. I remember it because it was the last shopping weekend before Christmas I think so the general theory was that most of the wives had force their husbands to go shopping with them! i’m going purely on memory here so could be completely wrong. By the way, I recommend trying to use your memory from time to time. Simply reaching for your phone and googling the answer is what’s known as digital dementia! Ken Hairy 3,774 Posted December 4, 2021 I remember being in a crowd of about 8000 in the cup v Carlisle circa 1992ish, can't remember a lower one.
Midlands Yellow 4,019 Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) 91/92 season saw 5,507 packed into Carrow Road for a league cup tie against Charlton. Not so many fans were interested in the Full Members Cup though when only 4,436 turned up against QPR. Edited December 4, 2021 by Midlands Yellow

Quite, the county of Cambridgeshire has such an affinity with intelligent people and yet some of its inhabitants are so clearly lacking 😉

Declan 24 Posted December 4, 2021 9,815 saw a 3-3 against Birmingham City at Carrow Road in March 1998 - probably my mind playing tricks, but I’m sure I recall a gasp as it came up on the scoreboard!
