Beno27 0 Posted December 23, 2005 Sorry to steal the idea trainers. So is it the 6-0 at Fulham, Delia''s outburst- which no doubt made us all cringe. Sheffield Wednesday at home was a new low for me, I dont think I''ve ever seen us underperform that much.Any more ideas
The Great Drinkell 49 Posted December 23, 2005 It would have to be the open day, Ipswich miss out on automatic promotion and Crewe survive another season in the Coca-Cola Championship Deano''s Delight was so obvious - Opps I may have miss read the question!! lucky green trainers 0 Posted December 23, 2005 worst moment was waiting excitedly for the fulham match to start knowing if we won we''d stay up - then realising that expectation was mis-matched with the body language of the city players waiting in the tunnel to come out - they looked nervous as hell.rang my dad to say the players were bricking it and we''d probably lose - didn''t expect 6-0 though.where was the huddle when we needed it? Huddy 0 Posted December 23, 2005 In no particular order.1) Fulham was the worst although we still tried to enjoy ourselves2) Shef wed, millwall and derby this season3) ashton and hucks'' missed pens (reading and millwall)4) getting rid of eddy and svenson and believe it or not Jonson.4) The Signing and performances of MLJ, graham stuart, lisbie, thorne, robinson etc, etc5) Jarvis and thorne on the wing6) going down7) and still no natural wingers.8)the failure to resign bellamy!!!!!9)Pointless gossip about ashtons future10) The days when francis was a NCFC player11) An FA cup exit to West ham12) Not winning away till Brighton/Ipswich13) the start of the championship season, realisation14) keeping charlton, brennan etc.15) Ok then, Delias speach, it even made the sports personality of the year show.16) the retirement of alex notmam! Canarychick 0 Posted December 23, 2005 Yep I cringed at Delia''s outburst! That last game of the season at Fulham has to be the worst moment. They had their fate in their own hands and blew it......BIG TIME!Looking forward to a better things in 2006
AJ 1,191 Posted December 24, 2005 For me, its got to be 6-0 against fulham was highly dissapointing, considering how well we had done over the past few weeks after the united game
Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted December 24, 2005 It''s a no brainer: Fulham.
Sing up the river end 0 Posted December 24, 2005 would have to be judas saving that hucks pen for me.:(
Unthank Road 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Being 4-0 down at half time against Luton was just awful, and the no-show at Derby just left me feeling numb.
Northern Canary 0 Posted December 24, 2005 1. Fulham2. Man City. 3. Ashton and Hucks missed pens4. Chasing top 6 (or even top 12) when we should be top 3.5. Blackburn 1-1.
BedsCanary 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Ooooo, yes, that Blackburn game was horrible. For me that was when the realisation set in that we''d probably be relegated. It was a dull, scrappy game. We didn''t look good, they didn''t look good, but we still managed to throw away a 1-0 lead in the last minute to a Wimbledon-hit-and-hope team with ten men. Disastrous. But Fulham was the worst moment of 2005. In fact, Fulham was the top 6 worst moments of 2005...
T07 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Thought Fulham was a good day out actually, I was so pissed I barelyremember the game. Thought we showed fantastic charachter chanting ''wewant 6'' at 5-0 and out reaction at the end was amazing. Worse moment was spending half a million pounds on Hughes. Or the decision to play Holt over Safri in so many games last season. What was that about?
Robbo007 0 Posted December 24, 2005 1. Fulham 6-02. Conceding late goal to Palace on opening day of the season3. Fans turing on Worthy after the service he has given us. I was as disgruntled as anyone else by the inept performances, however he said things would turn around, and they appear to be doing just that. Some of the things said, including on this message boards, have been pretty vile
Rasputin was a C... 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Wasn''t the 1-1 draw with Blackburn in 2004 a week or so before we beat Soton? The 3-0 loss at Blackburn in the rain wasn''t too pleasant especially with Green letting two slip through his hands. :(
Syteanric 1 Posted December 26, 2005 Worthington saying "i dont care wht the fans think im in charge!" it was the point of no return for me and i dont think i will ever back him fully 100% anymorejas :)
