UK national debt = £2,223.0 billion (or over £2 trillion if you prefer that measurement)

That's equivalent to 103.6% of gross domestic product (GDP).

Brexit will cost £80bn a year (4% of GDP) according to the government's own figures.

You really are a blithering idiot.

Germany National Debt as a percentage of GDP = 69% https://countryeconomy.com/national-debt/germany

France National Debt as a percentage of GDP= 87%  https://commodity.com/data/france/debt-clock/

When you read the stories about shops covering empty spaces with pictures of the missing items to give the shoppers the impression that there isn't a problem you think surely people can't be fooled that easily.

And then you realise it's done for the likes of Swindon.

Who would be stupid enough to think we would pay into a budget agreed after we left?

However this year we paid £7bn to the EU and we will continue to pay money to the EU up to 2057 under the terms of the withdrawal agreement.

'The revelations come after the Treasury’s watchdog, the Office for Budget Responsibility, warned the Brexit trade deal will cut GDP by 4 per cent, swiping £80bn a year from the UK economy.'   So that's £62bn worse off. Then £80bn plus every  year afterwards.

We have really saved on Buendia's wages too don't forget. That would have crippled our wage structure this year - if he was still with us. Massive savings too on James Maddison.

" “On returns related to small boat arrivals … the answer in this year is five”, later adding: “There is not a returns agreement with the European Union in place at the moment.” That's why they are coming. Since the UK left the EU, it is open season, as they cannot be returned, as when the UK was in the EU.

But we missed that payment because we left BONUS

We paid approx 19 billion for 96 million doses of Pfizer ( assuming the cost per dose has not decreased ) which you claimed we were manufacturing ourselves.

Lol

So you didn’t say we were miles ahead of the EU and the EU had not invested in the manufacture of vaccine. I must have also imagined when you told us all about the EU shutting the borders with NI to stop vaccine coming into NI.

I know this question will cause you a major brain burn out but do give it a go: "£18 bn or £80 bn (the cost of brexit each year) which number is bigger?"

Oh dear Swindle! "There are no shortages" you claim and "haven't been for over a month".  I'm looking forward to your explanation of this story posted today in your beloved Daily Mail :

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/market-report-newsagent-chain-mccoll-s-crashes-as-supplies-dry-up/ar-AAQPxjo?ocid=msedgntp

Daily Mail

MARKET REPORT: Newsagent chain McColl's crashes as supplies dry up

Newsagent chain McColl’s crashed to an all-time low after supply chain issues left it struggling to fill its shelves.

Shortages of key products, lorry drivers and workers at distribution centres have intensified over the past three months. The shares fell 18.6 per cent, or 3.35p, to 14.64p.

What say you @SwindonCanary

Irish discount carrier Ryanair Holdings Plc said it will drop its London Stock Exchange listing, becoming the first major company to blame its departure on Brexit.

The move confirms a plan set in motion this month, when Ryanair cited compliance headaches tied to Britain’s exit from the European Union.

Oh dear! Yet another classic Swindle own goal. When we were in the EU we were able to return migrants to the European country that they travelled from under the "Dublin III Regulation" https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dublin-iii-regulation. That option has now been removed. Had you bothered to read about the consequences of brexit you would have known that it inevitably made the removal of illegal immigrants much harder.

I hope they don't spend it all at once, I'd struggle to pay my bills on that.

That is actually higher than the net figure when we were members, so in effect leaving has raised our contibutions (due to rebate, EU funding in UK and offsetting EU aid contributions against the 1.7% UK target)
