River End Canary 18 Posted December 2, 2018 I am not one who likes to take a pop at the club but the quality of the food at the Gunn Club has hit an all time low. yesterday I got served this muck. Over cooked chicken and horrible sauce and the presentation skills of a 3 year old As we are owned by a cook the Least we should expect is that the catering is to standard Delia out Gordon Ramsey in
River End Canary 18 Posted December 2, 2018 Maybe something for the Canary Trust to get involved in one the female sanitary wear issue is resolved

Graham Paddons Beard 2,789 Posted December 2, 2018 I'm amazed anyone is still a "member" . Several of us that travel a distance joined when it first started; £50 fee, table service and restriction based around the number of covers they could adequately deal with. you could get there early, eat, have a beer and go back in after the game . The original intention of it was great. Over the years it has become a free for all , we were unable to get a table to eat, slow service and after the match it's chaos. Even Delia stopped eating in there! Just don't go in there would be my advice. If it is spoiling an other wise fantastic time to be a City fan go to one of the many brilliant pubs in the city like we do.

River End Canary 18 Posted December 2, 2018 Am in the process of complaining would be better off getting in Marks and Spencer in to do the catering

If there’s a problem then talk to the club at the time. They may have let Waveney have a free drink at the time as an apology or given him a refund. Thing is, he wouldn’t have had a reason to post on here then would he ?

A Big Mac meal is nearly that now. (It still looks horrible and would take GPB's advice if I were you.)
Chelm Canary 404 Posted December 2, 2018 Yep, it's cheap as chips. Although, I'd still rather keep my money than eat that.
keelansgrandad 6,680 Posted December 2, 2018 To be fair, for that price you were not going to get quality. A Big Mac meal is nearly that now. Our family business is catering and we serve up much better food than that at our local rugby club for half that price. It all depends how greedy you want to be when it comes to profit. lake district canary 4,830 Posted December 2, 2018 It is quite rare to get really good chips anywhere. Ok I suppose if you were weaned on greasy, fatty so called chips, you probably like that because it is what you are used to, but a lot of chips you get defy description. They should have at least a taste of potato, with a crisp skin - not soggy or drenched right through with grease and with little taste of actual potato. It's not that difficult really.
