Surfer, do you think we will see some proper prosecutions or will this be a lot of noise and no action??

We are the only network not showing it. All the rest are wrong.

Yeah, Fcukin A says Homer as he slides out of his pet pig.

Of course, Fox did spend the two hours discussing nothing else but the hearing.

Other than that Mrs Lincoln, how was the show?

I guess Mrs Lincoln's answer was in bullet points. Or maybe there was a Palme greased with silver somewhere....?

“Storm the capitol!, start a riot!!”.

Worse President ever and that’s being kind. Trump should be done for manslaughter.

Fox news refusing to cover the Jan 6th Committee report is tantamount to them invoking the Fifth Amendment.

Two Murdoch papers criticise Trump.

https://www.mediaite.com/print/murdoch-papers-hit-trump-with-pair-of-brutal-op-eds-on-bombshell-january-6th-hearing/

Trump has become a prisoner of his own ego. He can’t admit his tweeting and narcissism turned off millions. He won’t stop insisting that 2020 was ‘stolen’ even though he’s offered no proof that it’s true. Respected officials like former Attorney General Bill Barr call his rants ‘nonsense.’ This isn’t just about Liz Cheney. Mitch McConnell, Betsy DeVos, Mark Meadows — they all knew Trump was delusional. His own daughter and son-in-law testified it was bull.

Just maybe they don't want to be attached to him anymore. At this rate he won't stand because he cannot accept losing.

Meanwhile, this is why I care about all of this - the rules are for you but not for me philosophy we see so frequently from the modern right in politics leads to these kind of issues. She's the wife of a sitting Supreme Court judge for goodness sake. And who is going to adjudicate the inevitable appeal of any Trump conviction? .....

What I also find so shocking about these cases is that these people were clearly confident they could get away with subverting the democratic process by breaking the law. These are the very same people who conspicuously parade their "devotion" to the US Constitution. That Trump generated such a mindset in people who clearly understood what the law and electoral process required shows just how utterly corrosive and malignant Trump's influence has been.

A good summary of the final grift of the Trump presidency here - from today's hearing.

Well today (Wednesday's) hearing has been postponed until tomorrow (Thursday) but here is a preview.

Pretty direct accusation there from Republican Liz Cheney, no wonder her party is trying to expel her.

Because the truth hurts... and many of the conspirators will one day be going to jail.

It would seem the next couple of Jan 06 Committee sessions are going to be blockbusters .....

Congressmen giving rioters tours of the Capitol complex, a wife of a Supreme Court Justice e-mailing Trump's lawyer on how to get in front of a Supreme Court willing to overturn elections.... oh boy oh boy..

This is better than I was expecting. The truth will out.👍

Same will eventually happen here. That charter plane might prove useful if only to fly Johnson, Patel at al all out to Rwanda. Then again I guess they would fail to meet Rwanda asylum standards. After all Rwanda doesn't want liars, cheats and bullies.

Users of Donald Trump's social media platform, Truth Social, were reportedly suspended after mentioning the ongoing January 6 hearings, putting the site's "free speech" bona fides in a harsh light.

The platform, which professes to be "free from political discrimination," came under scrutiny after multiple users took to Twitter to announce that they had been removed from the site after posting content that may have appeared unfavorable to Trump.

The Jan 6th Congressional committee is doing an excellent job in allowing people on the receiving end of Trump's attempt to overthrow democracy in the US show just how real that attempt was.

The testimony of Rusty Bowers, a Trump supporting conservative Republican, is astonishing.
