norfolkngood 1,097 Posted September 11, 2018 The best part of 2 weeks off, Farke having had the chance to inspire them on the training ground, defensive issues resolved, And if we still play the same way as we have at the start of season and lose what next ? Indy 3,344 Posted September 11, 2018 It’s Boro, so it’ll be fairly high attendance, I’ll go for 2-2 with 25,789.I hope Nutty is right though, 4-4........ after being 4-1 down felt better than a win.

Mello Yello 2,315 Posted September 11, 2018 The attendance will be roughly the same as the amount of goals we''ll concede against Boro.....Our Delia will waddle onto the pitch at half-time full of pashion....She''ll snatch the microphone off the resident stadium Stereo MC......before emitting a stupendous rallying call of "COOOEEE Everyone! We need a twelfty man here....hic!....Where are you?.....Lesh be havin'' you....yerz all me besh mates....hic!....Mine''s a large claret an'' a bag o'' cheesy wotsits...pleeze!"....Before her ever faithful Neppers Tom charges onto the pitch, becalms her, then carefully escorts his Aunt off the pitch and down the tunnel.....(Hey, any publicity - is good publicity!)..... norfolkngood 1,097 Posted September 11, 2018 i think if we lose the crowd may well turn ,i think Farke is under pressure just little things i noticed like the RB position chopping and changing trying to find the right player is that good Management or Panicking ?only my opinion of course :-)
Making Plans 944 Posted September 11, 2018 Glory hunting?FFS, most people just want some entertainment, a few Norwich goals and a Norwich win.Unlikely to see any of those against Boro.

Hardhouse44 261 Posted September 11, 2018 Is this guy Lake District Canary for real. He’s living in a fairytale land where we’re going to beat Boro 4-2 and it’s glory hunters and fair weather fans to blame for a drop in crowds. What’s your season ticket number pal? We’re one of the most expensive teams to support in the country let alone this league. People want to be entertained. We play the most boring football I have ever seen in MY 30+ years of being a season ticket holder. Where do you get of judging people who might can consider that this $hite we are dishing up is not worth their time or money. You talk utter rosecoloured glasses boll cks mate. Fans like you are just as big a problem as the manager and board. Holding us back! Happy clapping morons.
wcorkcanary 4,355 Posted September 11, 2018 Dont be horrid to LDC, HH44. The first two lines in your post were succinct .Lakey is a ray of sunshine in a so far gloomy season.
lake district canary 4,562 Posted September 11, 2018 I can take it. It''s only my opinion of course - but if people have lost interest, then that is up to them, whatever the reason. The Glory Hunter jibe was a dig at those who seem to want to live in a different world where we have loads of money, are sitting in the PL season after season and anything less is total failure, with no room for consolidating, no room for rebuilding, no understanding that sometimes you have to take a step backwards before you go forwards, no faith that the club knows what it is doing and that the correct decisions have been made to progress our club. It''s hard to convince people when you lose a home match or two, or appear to be struggling to get the balance right, but this season has been like starting afresh - Pukki, Rhodes, Aarons, Buendia, Marshall, Hernandez as a first choice, Thompson, Godfrey, Leitner as a first choice, Hanley as captain. We have McLean and Vrancic to come back, Godfrey to establish himself, Aarons to develop as a regular right back, Buendia to find his feet and overall a lot of development to come across the squad. I genuinely wish I could get to more matches this season, such is the extra interest there in seeing how things develop with the young players and how the new players integrate. Fair enough if you don''t feel like that, but there is a genuine sense that some people are living in a world where the grass is greener elsewhere, in the land of milk and honey where money grows on trees and perfect investors are waiting around every corner. Sometimes, what you have is better than what you imagine could be better. We are set on a course - it''s not certain it will be all good but it certainly isn''t certain it will be all bad either. The joy is in the uncertainty.....but of course you have to accept uncertainty to be able to appreciate it.
norfolkngood 1,097 Posted September 11, 2018 I get what you are saying LDC that''s your opinionHard though for Fans to see past the present when it is so poor i see the history of last season and this season''s first games the style the tactics etc i see No reason that that Farke and Webber can turn us into be a top six side That''s my opinion as i respect yours
Mello Yello 2,315 Posted September 11, 2018 "Easy to support the yellow and green....when you''re watching ''em play on a free an'' dodgy bootleg stream".....Unlike those who spend a substantial amount of their personal pounds......to support and follow their club.... Midlands Yellow 4,118 Posted September 11, 2018 It’s a frustration of the regime and lost opportunities. I think the club hierarchy will be genuinely surprised at present at the drop in interest /numbers attending etc. They have definitely took the full houses for granted and gave little in return for the last 18 months . I''m hoping (although not expecting) the players to come back revitalised after whatever they''ve been doing for the past 2 weeks and up for what will inevitably be a physical Pulis team. nutty nigel 7,667 Posted September 11, 2018 I absolutely love Lakey! Nobody else on this board would respond to Housey''s uncalled for rant like that. You''re a better man than me LDC.As for Housey....Perhaps he''ll feel better if the trust and Tom can agree an incontinence pant deal along with the sanitary products.Fill ya boots Hairy. Midlands Yellow 4,118 Posted September 11, 2018 It’s a message board . Lakey and Housey were both in order and made personal points .

nutty nigel 7,667 Posted September 11, 2018 I don''t know you Midlands but I wouldn''t be comfortable calling you a moron just because I don''t agree with most of the stuff you post.I know Lakey and he certainly isn''t a moron.

nutty nigel 7,667 Posted September 11, 2018 Indeed but why does that have anything to do with Housey calling him a moron? Is Morty now some kind of yardstick to what''s acceptable on here? Because if so anything goes. As long as it''s qualified with "Morty did worse".
Midlands Yellow 4,118 Posted September 11, 2018 When have I ever called Lakey a moron ? His passion is 2nd to none on here and I freely admit to banter in replies. It is a message board after all . With respect I think you may be selective on posters your not enamoured to .
Midlands Yellow 4,118 Posted September 11, 2018 Ok you win, I’ll have to do my homework and see how many times you pulled Morty up for going too far when being assertive in his posts !
nutty nigel 7,667 Posted September 11, 2018 You didn''t call anyone a moron. And I didn''t say you did. Was this a tactic you used to wind up Morty? It won''t work with me Midlands. You said Housey was in order calling Lakey a moron.
It’s a message board . Your old mate called Lakey a bell end most weeks and I know which I’d prefer .
OK so its fair enough to call Lakey a moron if you disagree with him. Does that stretch to everyone? And Morty''s gone. Still a mate. Lakey''s a mate to. In fact a couple of weeks ago I was with both him and Lakey at the same time and managed to stay mates with them both. But I guess ''mate'' to you is someone who you agree with on here. All that not withstanding the fact that I have never called Lakey a bell end or a moron so struggle to see the point you''re trying to make.
