Webber, predicted “major changes” during the summer and when asked why he had chosen to join Norwich he said the club were not only bigger than Huddersfield Town but he had doubts about the West Yorkshire side''s future plans and ambition.

His words. So they have stolen one of, if not, the best players at a much bigger club.

People in his position should keep their mouths shut when it comes to other clubs.

we are skint hard to haggle when you need the money as much as us

if thats not the case we could of kept our players and the owner fund the short fall but Delia has not got the money for that so we had to sell

So when a club comes knocking to pay £11m for one of your players its difficult to say no unless you''ve got some serious tricks up your sleeve.

So when a club comes knocking to pay £11m for one of your players its difficult to say no unless you''ve got some serious tricks up your sleeve.

But surely they would have projected for this. If it looks likely we won''t be promoted, we will take a £7M overdraft.

Pritchard wasn''t expected to be fit until after Christmas.

And we have been repeatedly told that we are in the process of rebuilding and I would have thought a 24 year old should have been a central part of that.

Of course the player''s head may have been turned but keeping him until at least the summer may have, with an improvement in the playing side, persuaded him his future was with us.

The £7m overdraft doesn''t even begin to fill the hole in finances though.

Come the summer we have to further slash he wage budget and we have to make a sizeable profit in transfer fees. Webber isn''t the cause of any of this.

He will make some unpopular decisions and yes he will get a lot criticism but he isn''t to be blamed for our financial situation.

With January notoriously a sellers market and clubs panic buying it is very surprising we dropped our pants with 3 weeks of the transfer window still remaining. Unfortunately the only hard bargain our club wants to drive is with the fans.

if you ran a business and needed to purchase somethig from a competitor whose money is weak you wouldnt give them a leg up would you? youd undermine and undercut them and play on their desperation, as everyone else has done for the last 20 years
