TIL 1010 5,246 Posted July 7, 2017 I wonder how many who attended the consultation group regarding match atmosphere have seen that ?
lharman7 39 Posted July 8, 2017 The club should try organise something similar for when the away team arrives and step off there bus to it. Intimidation tactics at its finest.
lake district canary 4,836 Posted July 8, 2017 It can''t happen at Norwich, people who would be that enthusiastic are too spread out, although away games might be easier, with the more vocal fans concentrated in one area. We seem to have gone away from the singing culture that we used to have and the variety of songs that we sing and the sheer exuberance of just being at a game - it''s all got too serious and tense at matches (or people are too drunk). nu_matik 184 Posted July 8, 2017 Having sat near the Snakepit for some time, I can tell you that they cant clap and sing at the same time. Too confusing.
JF 694 Posted July 8, 2017 Just waiting for the embarrassing chris gorham after match interview when he asks him what he thinks of the Norwich atmosphere!
City 2nd 193 Posted July 8, 2017 I''m sure if they give us something to sing about we will! Remember Wembley!!
Horse Renoir 1 Posted July 8, 2017 It''s the nature of our place in the football pyramid Lakey, there''s always so much riding on games for us for one reason or another. We''re not happy in this league* but will always struggle in the league above. We''re unlikely to ever find ourselves in a comfortable position where we can relax and can take matches less seriously. * not because we''re spoilt, without parachute payments we become one of the small fish financially
Guest Posted July 8, 2017 And the Germans are supposed to be reserved and us Brits a bit, you know, a bit leery, a bit tasty, a bit you know crazy.Far from it. The atmosphere at Carrow Road is bigged up by so many. It is a morgue at times. Its the same old story. Do you like us? Isn''t our ground nice. The away support is great and know what it is supposed to be. If you can''t sing and chant, and age makes no difference, before and during the game there will be no atmosphere. And there are no excuses.
Bagster 101 Posted July 8, 2017 If you brought in a corner terrace or safe standing in one corner the people who make the atmosphere would know where to go. It could be done but do the board want to do it
FCC 94 Posted July 8, 2017 It is clear we need a couple of decent drummers, more flags and banners, and chants with "uhh" in them. Perhaps we could all learn German and nick a Dortmund song.

We have plenty of songs, one anthem and plenty of support. WE just need more of those that do attend to join in with the rest and not just when you are winning. Bagster 101 Posted July 8, 2017 Fair enough didn''t réalisé safe standing wasn''t allowed. A big shame in my book
Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 1,223 Posted July 8, 2017 Do not let Paul Moy hear you suggesting our fans learn German, that said I found a clip of FC St Pauli fans singing in English so who knows.......
Tired 112 Posted July 8, 2017
WE just need more of those that do attend to join in with the rest and not just when you are winning.
This is one of the biggest issues for me, far too many people (not just Norwich fans, applies to most fan groups in English football) are only willing to cheer and sing if the team is playing well and winning. It''s when the team is struggling that they really need that support from the crowd.
