king canary 7,606 Posted March 31, 2017 Out for the rest of the season according to Irvine. Alex Neil''s transfer record continues to shine.
Nuff Said 5,141 Posted March 31, 2017 1. I don''t think Neil was exclusively responsible for all our signings. I suspect several others may have had some involvement.2. Is his record really any worse than anyone else?
hogesar 9,672 Posted March 31, 2017 Shame. Liked Jarvis.
Van wink 2,994 Posted March 31, 2017 Great shame. He had started to play in a few of the "reserve "games I believe, sorry for the man!
Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted March 31, 2017 Had a decent debut, signed him permanently and since he''s been a permacrock. Awful signing.
Greavsy 2,415 Posted March 31, 2017 He''s not injured, what was reported in the pinkun web site isAI thinks Jarvis will struggle to get back in contention for first X1 this season.Matt Jarvis will hopefully play as much of the game as possible tonight without any problem
king canary 7,606 Posted March 31, 2017 So he is fit but isn''t good enough to get back into contention? Even better!
king canary 7,606 Posted March 31, 2017 @nuff saidYes, his transfer record is awful. I''d say only Brady and Pinto have been successes.
Van wink 2,994 Posted March 31, 2017 Ah, so the story is not as described!
Greavsy 2,415 Posted March 31, 2017 I''m not ITK vw, just repeating from pinkun web site.
hogesar 9,672 Posted March 31, 2017 Boooooooo King Canary...Liar! Booo
Move Klose 303 Posted March 31, 2017 The worst thing about the signing of Jarvis is that we signed him permanently (initially on loan) because we could only have 2 players on loan from other prem. The first being Wisdom. We had to sign Jarvis permanent so we could get Bamford on loan. Alex Neil''s & out recruitment has been Awfull in last few seasons. They were all pretty rubbish. king canary 7,606 Posted March 31, 2017 To be fair the tweet from paddy Davitt says Irvine doesn''t think he''ll be in contention this season- i don''t think reading that to mean injured to be much of a leap...
If wed only kept Howie.. 3 Posted March 31, 2017 yep - out for the season, except for playing tonight, then totally out for the season... and its all someones fault.
Move Klose 303 Posted March 31, 2017 His Norwich career is over before it''s even really begun. One good game on his debut and that''s it. High earner who we will no doubt try and move on this summer.
king canary 7,606 Posted March 31, 2017 @howieThiscwas the tweet from the press conference... #ncfc AI thinks Jarvis will struggle to get back in contention for first X1 this season. No fresh injuries however for squadHardly like I plucked it out of thin air...
Nuff Said 5,141 Posted March 31, 2017 King canary:- Klose (when signed for the PL)- Pritchard- Maddison- Dijks...?
Wishbone 8 Posted March 31, 2017 And Oliveira, possibly Godfrey in the future
AJ 1,221 Posted March 31, 2017 A shame as he started brightly here, but sadly no use to us if he''s never fit to play
Move Klose 303 Posted April 1, 2017 Alex Neil''s recruitment:Permanent:McGovern - FreeJones - FreePinto - £2.5m Klose - £8m Brady - £7mMulumbu - FreeCanos - £2.5mAndreu - £1mJarvis - £2.5mWildschut - £6mPritchard - £8mDorrans - £3mGodfrey - £100kMaddison -£2mOliviera - £5mNaismith - £8mA mixture of duds, "jury still outs", potential & what a waste of money. With a couple of good buys in there.
The Bristol Nest 513 Posted April 1, 2017 I forgot that we paid 2m for Maddison. Why is he treated like a youth player?
king canary 7,606 Posted April 1, 2017 @Nuff saidKlose who is currently behind Ryan Bennett and Russell Martin in the pecking order? Pritchard who has started all of 15 games so far? Maddison who hasn''t played for us yet?Dijks who has less than 10 games under his belt here? Sorry I need a bit more to see them as good signings. They could be (I like Pritchard and Maddison seems like a good player) but they still sit in the juries out category.
Barclay seats 4849 the 3rd 0 Posted April 1, 2017 So none of you consider Oliveira to have been worth the money ? 🙄
Move Klose 303 Posted April 1, 2017 Oliviera has delivered consistently. Personally think Pinto is a bit overrated by some fans but has probably lived up to his price tag.Should Pritchard & Maddison live up to there reputation then they will be good signings. That''s IF they do.We gotta decent return on Brady so guess he can be considered a successful signing despite us not really seeing the best of him on a consistent basis. Gordon Bennett 783 Posted April 1, 2017 I think Eboue Adams will turn out to be a very good signing.
king canary 7,606 Posted April 1, 2017 Nelson has been good, yes. So we''ve got Nelson, Pinto and Brady.
king canary 7,606 Posted April 1, 2017 The obvious duds for me are Jarvis, Canos, Mulumbu and Andreu. You then have an awful lot of grey area signings - for me Naismith has been a poor signing as he is an £8m player who spends most of his time on the bench. Klose is similar. City 2nd 191 Posted April 1, 2017 Hardly surprising. Exactly the same at West Ham and was termed ''sick note'' by the home supporters. He was in essence a very very poor signing.
Donkey dangler 0 Posted April 5, 2017 Will Jarvis play another first team game for Norwich?
