Mooning?

No end of it.

City fans are mooning, they do it all the time.

We lose every week; in this league that''s a crime.

We moon about the manager and the man from Mulbarton

We moon about Bassong and that bloody Russel Martin.

We moon about the screen and its messages subliminal

We moon about our defending, always bloody criminal

We moon about the keeper and those upon the bench

We moon about an inability to fight when in the trench

We moon about the mooners and those that don''t at all

We moon about our tendency to hit St Andrews Hall

We moon about our sponsors and the work of nephew Tom

We moon about not being Stoke or even West Brom

We moon about Cameron and his lack of Premier goals

We moon about the price of beer and cold sausage rolls

We moon about the players not running through the wall

We moon about everything. The good it does??????

Fuck all.

Just a matter of perspective, no special skills required so the good news is that you can understand it too. 👏

I believe it has a lot to do with the tides. Their movement can affect the moon, dragging it closer.

As the great Chines philospher Confucious said when asked about soap powder"It is better to wash your clothes in tide, than out tide"(Benny Hill 1978)

"It is better to wash your clothes in tide, than out tide"

The gravitational pull of the moon ( and sun ) are what causes the tidal bulge, their gravitational pull on the water draws the water upwards creating the tides
