Watching the Dortmund game last night I was struck by how different it was for me watching a team play in yellow and black to one in yellow and green. Now I love our colours and they are distinctive, but I thought that Dortmund''s looked a bit harder edged- the black and yellow combo a little more threatening than yellow and green: wasps or bees rather than Canaries. I''m not suggesting that we change for good, far from it as I have many happy memories over the years of glorious yellow and green experiences, but it struck me that it would be interesting if one year we did do black with the yellow just as an experiment. When the shorts first changed to green many fans were upset and some even called for a boycott of games.
