Surfer 1,547 Posted March 2, 2015 Just underlines how much 10 games have changed our fortunes - and affected others. We have gained.13 points on Bournemouth12 points on Ipswich7 points on Brentford5 points on Derby, Middlesbrough and Wolves4 points on Watford
AJ 1,359 Posted March 2, 2015 Make good reading but we need to keep it up!
Lessingham Canary 108 Posted March 2, 2015 Oh no I see AN getting manager of the month, and Brad getting player of the month, happy for Brad if he does, but don''t want MOM !
NCFCgardener 0 Posted March 2, 2015 I had a gut feeling that Norwich and Watford would gatecrash the top 2, looking at the form tables, I''m almost certain of it. I wonder where we would be had we made the right appointment at the start of the season, oh well.
birchfest 401 Posted March 2, 2015 There''s so much that can change, but for me it''s the consistency in performances that is the most encouraging... After the Cardiff win which showed a little wobble in and the Brentford game we''ve just looked more and more solid and capable of seeing out games. The beautiful thing is we have not put it firmly in our own hands with Derby and Middlesbrough still to come to Carrow Road!
Just Dan 10 Posted March 2, 2015 The most telling thing for me is that we have only conceded 3 times in the last 6, which is massive in this league. We have always had goals galore in this side, now we are backing it up with clean sheets and good defensive displays.
lake district canary 4,836 Posted March 2, 2015 Its good to marvel at our current form, but it means diddly squat if we don''t keep it up, especially as so many teams are in with a shout of the top two. The signs are good, but we need to keep this form up right to the end of the season. Going to take a huge effort of will from the players. The one thing you can be fairly certain of is that AN won''t let up and that will be the catalyst for continued improvement.
havemyhowsonit 0 Posted March 2, 2015 Just hope all this good work doesn''t get undone in the next 2 games. Potential banana skins when we really should be smashing the likes of Wigan and millwall
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted March 2, 2015 Also useful to know that Watford also have Derby and Middlesborough to play still as well and have Wolves at the weekend. Hopefully they start dropping some more points soon as if you take our game against them out of the equation, they are in pretty relentless form themselves. canarydan23 4,770 Posted March 2, 2015 "I wonder where we would be had we made the right appointment at the start of the season, oh well."We probably would not have appointed Alex Neil at the start of the season. Back then he was just a player manager who had got Hamilton into the Scottish Prem. I imagine it was his impressive performance with the "big boys" (I use the term lightly) in the Prem that got McNally''s attention for the Norwich job.So, perhaps we should actually be grateful for the Adams appointment, as without it we might''ve not got Neil. We may have been looking at players as well but mainly we were checking on Neil''s game management and tactical abilities. Obviously we saw enough in the first few months to decide he wouldn''t be a risk.
