1. This meeting needs a strong ''Chair'' to keep it on track and to get the best out of the supporters viewpoints. If this is not in place then someone has been remiss.
2. It''s true about the small town mentality but it runs through the Club and City from the people upwards. Norwich isn''t some New Town, London Borough or Industrial Revolution sweat shop slum it is a fine and ancient City in it''s own right, once capital of England and a medeival powerhouse(count the churches). If this just sounds like a load of past history tripe then where is your civic pride. Whereever you come from, and newcomers often display a greater passion for this area, Norwich is something to be proud to be associated with and to be a part of. We should not tolerate mediocrity and we must eradicate the ''pleased to be here mentality'' we displayed in the premier league. Don''t you realise that the status of Norwich as a City and regional centre is the fundamental reason why Ipswich supporters hate us as they do. I wonder why any recent successes such as the Milk Cup win, Europe or Premier League have been followed by slumps as we have failed to cope with notoriety. This is a great club, it is time we behaved like one.
3. Somethin''stupid........ I''m waiting on the line because i think you have the time to talk this evening with me And though out team are pants I know there isn''t any chance you''ll be agreeing with me And afterwards well drop into a little tate a tate with an exchange of view And then you go and spoil it all by telling me I''m ''stupid'' When I love you.
4. I have just had the strangest dream. Roy Waller is at a packed Carrow Road commenting on a match... ''It''s 0-0 with only seconds left: the goalkeeper rolls the ball out to the club captain who passes it to Etuhu; he spreads it wide to Huckerby who runs past three bemused defenders, into the box where he''s brought down. PENALTY! Ashton steps up, he must score....Ooohhhh! Well Neil, how do you explain that!?'' ''It''s obvious is that, Roy, simple logic ARE YOU STUPID OR WHAT it was something Nigel''s had the lads working on in training GREEN-FLEM-SPIT-DRIBBLE-CHOKE!''
5. I think a lot of people find it difficult to criticise a man who is fundamentally decent and honest. There have to be dispassionate business decisions made. It was interesting to hear one caller to Neil Adams talk about Worthy being brought down by his back room staff who he should look to replace. What a shame Boothroyd''s ambitions were not met by Norwich City.
6. So, how many point are needed to stay up then? Fifty? We are three away games off half way and have 22 points. We seem incapable of sustaining a run. I think supporters are entitled to be concerned.
7.
I quite fancy Bernard Matthews "Norfolk Turkeys" to be our next shirt sponsors!! Quite apt I think!!
Good suggestion but should be ''Turkey Roll'' because it is gutless, has no wings and can be sliced open easily on any occasion.
8. Have faith,Worthy will turn our performances around. Christmas will be a happy time for all followers of the yellow and green. There will be peace on earth and goodwill to all men. A benevolent saint will navigate your chimney and if you don''t have a chimney he will enter your home by artifice through the use of an Elf. For this is a magic time and all things are possible. And, slap my stockinged thigh if it isn''t Pantomime time too. Oh! look at that funny pantomime horse, the front end does''t know what the rear end is doing and vice versa, I wonder who can be in there. And just look at silver haired uncle Abanazer, if he doesn''t stop rubbing that lamp so hard he''ll take the gilt off it (no more Genies out of bottles for him. And who do these boots fit. They used to belong to Iwanella; just look at those funny men trying to fill them. Nurse says stop now.
9. Neil Adams must be desperate for media work to do the phone in programme; I bet he dreads it. Ninety minutes plus of analysis and opinion and then almost inevitably Mervyn Numpty from Little Brainingham phones up and says ''Well Neil, what du yew rekun about that?'' I actually know someone who phoned up with that line just to take the p*ss and Neil soldiered on and turned it into a question. Nowadays Neil says ''Well Mervyn, what do you think?'' When he actually wants to say ''What''s your bl**dy question you stupid tw*t or ''Did you actually phone in to make a point or just to fcuk me off? I don''t know who researches some of these callers, Alan PartridgeI presume; and as a proud Norfolk man the cringe factor sits somewhere in between The Singing Postman and Roy yes,no,oh! Waller. After this we get the breathy Worthington cliche session. Does this man have a retracting cord with a ring pull in his back? Well done Neil. Dew yew keep on a troshin.
10. If this is true then what have weak officials to fear from Norwich City?
11. Last seen walking into a wardrobe calling ''Aslan.''
12. What is the bottom line? As far as I am concerned it is the wellbeing of my club. When all is said and done the players and management come and go. I don''t care what Norwich City does for their personal aspirations I only care what they can do for the club and all the singing and praising is all just the euphoria of the moment. 1). This club must avoid relegation. 2). This club must reduce costs; this means players and particularly so when outlay does not match results. 3). This club must take a few steps back, consolidate and then move forwards. 4). This club has to seriously diminish it''s debt. Our top wage earners have to go and the club has to secure the best transfer fees. If anyone doesn''t want to sweat blood for the cause then they can go too. An objective ''Harry Bassett'' type needs to be appointed to troubleshoot the management and training. If the current management don''t like it they can go. If players don''t fit the system, imbalance the team, fail to rectify common errors (like offside) or refuse to work back and defend they can go. Welcome back to Costa Del Norwich. When players come here how much pressure do they feel under to produce? They can all say the right things while the fans clutch at straws. To the Board: get yourselves in some external advisors to look at this situation objectively and think outside the box. Make the tough decisions, clear out the dead wood. No one is irreplaceable, no one is above the club. Make the business decisions and not the emotional ones. There has been a malaise at this club for months now. There is a cancer, cut it out.
13. They have now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14. Clearly Norwich are not playing to Ashton''s strengths. Why buy a Rolls Royce and expect it to perform like a scrambler bike.
15. There are some truly toe curling efforts at chant writing on the sister board mainly based around a players name. Players have to write their own legends and it is difficult to build a chant until they have done so. Mckenzie was an early exception but the song is all about his deeds and not his name. Mcveigh gets a song based around his physical characteristics. Huckerby got Bellamy''s old song as a fellow fast forward. Mackay earned a version of McKenzie''s for similar acts. Safri has a song based on his nationality. I wish the one about Matty Svensson to the Flintstones tune had caught on. So let''s have some chants based on our players characters, characteristics, antecedents and actions and not just their names otherwise it all sounds too vacuous.
16. Running onto a cross Deano is fine; on the ground he is excellent and it is a crime that the ball is so seldom played to his feet. But with his back to a defender he is no Iwan Roberts. Thorne consistently flicked headers on to Ashton on Saturday but Deano always seemed to jump too soon and I cannot remember him winning anything in these situations. He is surely big enough and good enough and while I deplore the tactic of playing the high ball up to him he should surely be doing better with this aspect of his game. Mind you, Liverpool fans probably wonder even more so about Crouch and at least Deano knows where the net is.
17. Aparently when Worthy was telling him how he wanted him to play he was still foaming at the mouth from the Wolves match and Dickson took him literally.
18. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel or is it the 7-45 from New Den coming in the opposite direction?
19. I could certainly hear ''Worthy, what''s the score?  from the Cathedral Lounge and Nigel''s body language acknowledged it. If you want a response from him you have to ask ''Worthy, what''s the (sharp intake of breath) sit yew way shun.'' Of course, if we wish to enquire anything of the manager from the ''library'' we simply get a chap in a jacket to pass him a note.
20. At least ''The Man'' makes this Forum legitimate and credible by regularly writing complete bunk. I am surprised he escaped the ''faceless critics'' complaint of out Nigel.
21. I haven''t yet become a ''Worthy Out'' man, although I wish he had some media training as he comes across poorly at times, but as for the players it amazes me just how quickly some of them can go from zero to hero in the eyes of supporters. New signings aside let''s see our players perform consistently before we unleash the overblown praise. Yesterday was okay, no more, infact I think we''ve played much better at home this season without taking our chances in some matches: such as Reading. The side looked better balanced, perhaps Hughes can be the answer on the right. Does anyone know where Reading played him as I remember Coppell saying something about never having played him in the middle. Safri is plainly not yet fit but is too important to leave out. On this basis he might lurch from injury to injury. Sorry to see Davenport go, we''ll have to see if Worthingtons charm offensive makes him want to come here permanently, but Doherty has outperformed him since he arrived and Shackell deserves another chance. Huckerby benefitted from Etuhu''s Francis like prescence up the middle and faced less defenders as a result or with Etuhu running into the hole. Thorne finally gave Ashton a strike partner. He won more balls in the air than Ashton who regularly mis-times his jumps. When Ashton got the ball to his feet he showed great awareness and control, he turned well and brought others into the game. He gave two assists for the goals. It is about time we stopped pumping the ball up onto his head. I glad Worthy said he was conscious of this being yet another false dawn. Our players have got a great deal to prove and it will take a lot more than what we saw yesterday when a second half goal for Luton would have left Norwich hanging on for a result.
22. His auntie Barbara whilst appearing in Evita sang: So what happens now? Another suitcase in another hall So what happens now? Take your picture off another wall Where am I going to? You''ll get by, you always have before Where am I going to? Let''s hope he doesn''t end up joining in!
23. Thing is Stu the men in that shirt kicked ass at the Olympic Stadium, Munich. Plus, I remember speaking to Crooky about it pre-season and he quite liked it. Then again, when we spoke we were wearing our shell suits.
