  1. If he does go, then I hope everyone on here will say a big thank you and wish him all the best for his future and not come out with nasty comments. He has given us a football team to be proud of and we now have a base to build on, whether he is the ‘bricklayer’ or it is somebody else. Having said that, I really hope he (and Webber) stays and helps us consolidate our Premier League status.
  2. For me, (using an iPad), it comes and goes. If it does come up and won’t let me access in google I just open in Safari and it works fine. As previously said, it seems that the only people who can solve the problem are The Pink Un.
  3. Now that Harry is back in the country for his grandfathers funeral wouldn’t it be interesting if he did an interview with Piers Morgan? That is something I would love to watch 😉😉😉
  4. Let’s count ourselves lucky that we have come through one of the worst things in history (Covid), with a football club that is still financially sound and a team that will win the Championship. Im sure we would all love to go back to the days of the early/mid 90’s when we were competing with and beating the best in England (and Europe) but unfortunately that ship has sailed due to the amount of money and greed now in the game. Yes we could be lucky and secure a very rich owner (a la Man City or even Leicester) but we could also end up like Bolton, Wigan or even them lot down the road. Yes, I would love us to be champions of England but I would rather have our club stay afloat and have a decent team to be able to go and watch in 5 years time.
  5. Once fans get involved in votes like this you will always get biased opinions. I for one would rather listen to the ex pro’s and managers who do the commentary/punditry on Sky and the like (but definitely not MOTD). All of those who have recently been involved with our games have said that Buendia is by far the best player in the Championship this season. Whilst I appreciate that not all ex pro’s talk sense (Danny Mills and Robbie Savage immediately come to mind) the vast majority do.
  6. I could not believe Preston only picked up one yellow card yesterday. Some of the treatment dished out to Emi warranted at least two or three. I’m all for referees wanting to let the game flow but on numerous occasions he blew up, awarded a foul but didn’t even have a stern word yet alone get his cards out. They actually kicked Emi off the park yesterday as I think we were worried that he was going to get wacked one too many times and end up missing a couple of games (or more). Must say, he did well to control his temper, I think a lot of players would have reacted in a way that could have got them sent off.
  7. Swansea v Cardiff was refereed by Paul Tierney (Premier League ref) and we got that clown. WHY?
  8. I know what you mean. Might wait until my 61st but treat it as my 60th (is a year’s amnesia allowable at our age?). Will be a bit like the football, last game I went to was premier league (v Leicester) and looks like next one will be Premier League too.
  9. Just recently turned 60 but still young at heart.
  10. Looks like ligaments to me, nasty and could be out for a while, sadly
  11. Bruce Lee would have been proud of that kick
  12. I just wish Giannoulis would sometimes take a defender on, on the outside and get a cross in rather than keep passing inside, he could become predictable
  13. I was there that day and yes the atmosphere was fantastic even though we lost. I remember we parked up on a piece of waste ground behind their kop end. When we found out that Leicester had only drawn 0-0 with Shrewsbury and we had been promoted everyone went mental.
  14. Can’t access from google again today, have had to use Safari. I'm beginning to wonder if it’s anything to do with the volume of traffic on the site. it was quiet the other day when I got straight in but is much busier today. Are there any IT experts who can explain it to us ordinary folks.
  15. Having said what I said above, this morning I click on the forum link on google and get straight in; strange!!!
  16. Seems a bit funny to me, it was Todd’s birthday yesterday (Saturday) and he won’t be available for the game today 🙄🙄. Perhaps him and Onel were planning a trip to Argos and then going to the pub for a few bevvies (oh wait, the pubs aren’t open). 🤫🤫
  17. I keep getting the same message on my iPad (apart from a couple of days last week when strangely it worked) when I try to log on via google. I have to then open in Safari, which works. Only thing is; going through google I am logged in but in Safari I have to log in every time I visit the site.
  18. He probably just couldn’t believe we beat them 3-2 last time they came to Carrow Road and decided to make sure no other team did a job on them like we did that day. Just like most of us he then got hooked on watching our style of play 😉😉
  19. I remember Yeovil away in the FA Cup. They always created a good atmosphere when playing against the ‘big boys’. On a side note, back at the train station after the game “their boys” (about 50 of them) confronted about 1500 of us. Never heard laughter like it, even the coppers found it funny and they walked away tails between their legs.
  20. Thanks Ian, you are probably right, think we would take anything at the moment as long as it goes into the back of the net and counts 👍
  21. Technically not true Ian. They could start out as off target, then get a deflection. Would that then count as on target?
  22. I haven’t. Fat, useless **. 😉😉
  23. Fcuk the forum police. Some people/things are more important.
