1. Keeping Hughton on for so long despite his many, many obvious glaring faults and the very obvious direction he was taking us was negligible to the extreme. Whoever made the decision to keep Hughton on is responsible for all this and should be made accountable, it was as bad a decision is appointing Bryan Gunn!
2. Agree with everything you said there. This defeat was not our fault today and more importantly we never gave up like we did every time we conceded under Hughton. That arsehole of a club Fulham have some sort of curse over us. We played well and were set up correctly but the ball was never gonna find the back of the net. It''s kinda nice to be angry and gutted after a defeat for once instead of depressed and devoid of hope like it was under Hughton
3. 99% of the fans could see just how poor Hughton was and how wrong things were with the team under him. It was so, so obvious. Not getting rid of him after the Man City game was as poor a decision as any our boards have ever made. Their blind loyalty to such a crap manager has cost us so dearly.
4. I haven''t seen anyone blaming him. Most just accepting that todays performance proved just how bad of a manager he was and that Adams while getting the tactical approach spot on, still had a disjointed, unfit squad completely drained of all confidence to work with. Hughton is the one who screwed this club over with his negative, defeatist loser mentality and stubborn loyalty to his inept completely sh!t footballing philosophy. Maybe not quite the worst but certainly the most damaging manager we''ve ever had to suffer through
5.
Thats what happens when your game plan is to press and press and use all your energy in the first half. Had no energy in the second half. Unfortunately wrong decision to get Adams in - inexperience certainly shows.
We could do it under Lambert. Adams couldn''t be expected to raise the players fitness levels to an acceptable level in just 5 days. Hughton wasn''t coaching the team properly, they always seemed unfit to me. Again, your blind support of CH shows you know nothing about football, he was a shocking manager!
6.
So it looks like we''re down, we lost to fulham. Unfortunately it was the wrong decision to replace adams with hughton. I''m afraid that is one thing that is not debatable.
You''re a fu(king idiot to be honest. Every fan is on their knees at the momenta and you''re trying to stick the boot in for fu(king Chris Hughtons sake, the man responsible for our position. If you can''t see that we were just unbelievable unlucky today against our bogey team and that Adams got everything else right then you know absolutely nothing about football. Yes I''m pissed off, but just fu(k off!
7.
Who is this kernob end on my stream - talk about fulham biased!!
How can anyone be Fulham biased though? They''re the most boring anonymous nothing club in English football
8. How nice is it to see us tackling again for the first time since Lambert as well. The standing off was one of my main hates about Hughtons style
9. I honestly hate Fulham at least 100x as much as Ipswich, all the crap they''ve put us through in recent years, their unbelievable luck against us, their stupid neutral stand, foreign owner, poncy fans, fashionable London club etc. I''m so sick of them!!
10. I hate Fulham so much, I would honestly have no problem seeing them wound up and their ground burnt down. I despise them, lucky, lucky b******s!!
11. Effort, intensity, players throwing themselves at the ball, no nonsense long clearances, quick breaks, players smiling and happy, fast forward thinking passing....Is Lambert back in charge?
12. Hughton was critisised for not playing Becchio because his awful inept tactical strategy was so unsuited to skillful intelligent players like RVW/Hooper, it suited a big lump like Becchio and as it wasn''t working with our main strikers people couldn''t understand why we didn''t try something different. We have no idea how Adams will set the team up really, but I''d imagine we''ll play a quick breaking counter attacking game which would suit RVW/Hooper a lot more than it would Becchio.
13. "As part of a promotion campaign to boost their utterly pathetic attendance numbers" It should read
14. I''m optimistic about our chances for the first time in ages. Now that the cloud of negativity, failure, self depreciation and losing mentality from Hughton has been lifted I have no doubt we''ll stay up. We need one more win and to not lose to Fulham under someone not hellbound on choking all spark and imagination out of the team and with the fans onside I''m sure we''ll get the results! I don''t want Adams to get the job in the summer even if we somehow win all 5 games though, it would be too much of a risk, let him finish the season as a hero and we can look to appointing a progressive, forward thinking manager from Europe in the summer
15. Everyone running onto the pitch celebrating with Adams and the players after they keep us up is going to be one of the best moments of supporting city, I can''t wait for that to happen! And yea, I can see us getting 3 points against them as well but I think we''ll be safe by then anyway
16.
He was born baffled
Ahh you beat me to it! :P
17. I really didn''t like the put down of RVW at Swansea, that''s not what captains do. RVW had a perfectly valid criticism of our performance and gameplan and Bassong just told him to shut up..... Yea shut up Ricky, I''m a defender, it''s none of my concern what happens further up the pitch! lets just carry on lazily going through the motions and concentrate on getting a move in the summer... Trouble is I can''t see anyone in the squad apart from Martin to be captain material but
18. Imagine if we show much more attacking invention on saturday, somehow get a result and RVW scores...Would feel very, very reminiscent of Gunns Barnsley game. Also I haven''t felt optimistic or excited for a Norwich game in a very long time!
19. Most likely would have gone to Mark Robson or somehow failing that someone like Warnock would have been contacted
