Gunn and Rowe are back in training
jaberry2 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I was hoping Adam Forshaw was still injured and not available. That removes any temptation for Wagner to play him. -
How many dicken ciders have you had?
-
I've been saying this for weeks. I am assuming he is only starting due to Sainz not being match fit, which he showed recently he seems to a little off starting. We will be far better when he starts.

Why was Liam Gibbs brought on?
jaberry2 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Any news on Hwangs injury? However if hamstring we would be seeing him until post christmas now. How many seasons do we have with significant injury problems now!? Derails any chances of a good crack at the league. Beyond our first team fit 11 we lack any real depth/quality. -

Baffles me this whole switch up from Gibbs being a midfielder to being this sh*t hot striker due to his turn of pace and quick feet. I havent seen either from him in Midfield which would suggest this. Wagner is showing Bojo style competencies currently. -
Is Hernandez the worst player ever to play for Norwich
jaberry2 replied to mastoola's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I dont agree he's the new scapegoat, albeit it might seem that way amongst the forum. He just simply isnt good enough and is just a more well liked version of Placheta in my eyes. Arguably PP looks better than Onel with his end product now, which at least he seems to be improving. Onel on the other hand... I just want Sainz starting asap (once fit). -
Knapper doesn’t need more time
jaberry2 replied to rock bus's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Im open to switching managers with the emphasis and getting a couple of quality additions and a push come January, with a renewed focus. Norwich are far too laboured in terms of change and need to be more ruthless. I am still awaiting some sensible managerial choices and by that I dont mean Lampard etc etc -

I agree with you to a degree. The main point is our starting 11 when injuries come back is strong enough to compete, however with injuries we are too fragile and Wagner damages us further by making us more fragile in picking the wrong first team most weeks and/or making the wrong subs. For me, we need to develop a backbone in more ways than one and start shipping out some players who dont possess the quality at this level despite and want of trying. The first one for me might be controversial but would Onel, PP amongst others. The manager is at fault for a number of things, but clearly is trying despite having a pretty turd squad. It remains to be seen whether Knapper is strong enough in his character to drive us forward. -
Can we make it three wins in a row?
jaberry2 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Personally I'd rather get rid of players like Hernadez, PP and some others which clearly arent good enough to be in our squad, despite improvements shown on the latter. Some sensible loan additions would be welcome asap. -

I hear what you're saying but TBH i've got to stage of Wagner hanging in there as not good enough. Yes 6 points is good, but we are not really improving and stats seem to back that up. You could argus picking up points is more than enough in our current position which I appreciate. -

It sounds like Wagner has detached us from playing any form of fluid attacking football and its now back to Chris H era of boring football. Im hoping a freshen up of the squad with players coming back from injury help. Cant wait to see the back of some of the older players who are far off the pace and the desired standard. -

Im unconvinced we are playing much better or are developing our style of play. We seem to be just trying to grind out results by whatever means possible, rather than trying to play a certain way. Watford always seem to win against us, so will be happy with a point, however there team doesnt look overly strong so if we actually turn up we should be able to win. Lets hope with some of the injuries returning to fitness it pushes us on. Would like to see Sainz starting soon, albeit he looked pretty unfit from the last game. -
Idah and Duffy vs New Zealand
jaberry2 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think its one game. I would expect Hanley return when he is fit enough should help. -

Duffy looks well past his best nowadays. -
Grant Holt? Why not?

Duly noted. -

He's need more than that. -
Grant Holt? Why not?

Both have been bad appointments, but at least had some form of resume. Holt has nothing other than being a club legend. We need stability and experience. Throwing the dice on an ex player would be foolish. -
WOKE token gestures!! And next manager!!

I think if I were admin I would just ban half of this forum -
Grant Holt? Why not?

No. He has no managerial experience. -
Gibson out until Christmas
jaberry2 replied to king canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yes we have problems front to back which need addressing. If the midfield was more competent their would be less stress on the back four. -

Up and coming managerial candidates
jaberry2 replied to Tommo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I know Jack, he's very settled and doubt he would move away from arsenal. I don't think he's a good suggestion and as much as I would like to see Wagner gone, there have been little decent suggestions which would work for us currently touted -
It's official; TNC is Wagner out!
jaberry2 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Nothing wrong with the TNC boys. Always people moaning about them, if you don't like there content don't watch it. They make a lot more sense than half of this forum -
Kellen Fisher; credit where it's due
jaberry2 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You could say the same of Dimi, awful at defending and unable to block any crosses which already piles more pressure on a failing backline. -
I wouldnt be against Wagner leaving, but seeing as many a name on this forum mentioned there havent been many mentioned who would suit us. I don't want Warnock/Jack Wiltshire etc. We need someone to play progressive attacking football ala Farke, who can add a backbone to this team. A manager who can galvanize a low confidence team, as its almost getting to the stage this season where it's hard to salvage anything unless action is taken swiftly. It will be an early test to Knapper coming in and fighting the fires in which they're are multiple.
