I think, if we are buying Turnbull for the kind of money reported, then loaning him out to the Championship would be the last thing we'd do! He'll get into the squad, after a bedding in period, as with a number of our signings. Looks a very good player and his goal/assist return from an attacking midfield position last season was pretty decent.

Some other players who came from overseas and played for us recently have had their best ever seasons in terms of assists and goals. So, although his record is what it is, doesn't mean that it will stay that way forever! Farke gets the best out of his players... Why not have a look? He has played on the wing and as a second striker quite a lot so not an out and outer which is what Farke likes... Adaptability!

Really like Bradley Dack, would be a good signing. But feel like we missed the boat (last season) in getting him for a good fee. Likely to cost a fair few quid now, which may well rule us out. Shame.

A quick look reveals that Arsenal do this, although I am not sure how theirs works. Probably a little different to ours. I am sure other clubs do too. However, are those teams freezing their home ticket cost to £30 or whatever? Arsenal have often been the most expensive place to go, with top level ticket prices being about £97. We know that £30 is the most fans will be paying to go to away games, so I still haven't got an issue with the club trying to make up some kind of shortfall. Then again, I don't go to a huge amount of away games but am at every home game. It's going to be a different case for each individual though and I appreciate the reasons for the furore.

I think we have probably learned from Southampton, in that they're a club who have an excellent record of developing youth players and selling them on for huge amounts of cash. I'm not particulalrly worried about our lack of concrete signings thus far. I imagine there's plenty going on behind the scenes and, as with last season, most of the people we've been linked with probably weren't ever targets! We'll sign some players totally out of left field I reckon. None of us will be expecting it!

Hopefully our opening game will be a Midsummer Night's Dream for us and not a nightmare.

I think we should have reduced versions of varying Shakespeare plays. Different one each week. Surely the average footie attending fan would love that?
