1. "Do you go on the WOTB" In the words of Carpark Catchphrase''s Roy Walker: "Frankly - I''d rather stick a fork in my eye"
2. "For your future reference there are only four sources worth taking note of. 3: Radio Norfolk" LOL, come on Wizard, do you not think Radio Norfolk get their sporting/news info from their bigger BBC brother, R5 Live? If it happens any further afield than Kings Lynn/Diss then Radio Norfolk is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. (some would argue, myself included that its as useless as that for all but 90 minutes a week) I don''t want to know what Mabel and Arthur from Foulsham are having for their tea, thanks!
3. "A really fit girl poster in there called Kia" Robbo, this is the internet, having an avatar of a fit girl does not mean you are one... Theres loads of whackos out there pretending to be someone they''re not. She/he could be a minger or more likely a middle aged fat bloke who doesn''t get out much
4. I wouldn''t be suprised if he left a little something, but 5m sounds wide of the mark by a long way. Theres not that many people around with 5m sitting around, less still who''d leave it to a football club. If I''m proved wrong, then maybe there is a god after all
5. Just over half the season gone, 3 points from safety, and Wizard has thrown in the towel. Well how gutsy of you! Imagine if Ali had you in his corner during the "Rumble in the Jungle". You''d have told him not to come out for the second. Underestimate the power of positive thought at your peril!
6. If the wages aren''t too silly, he could be just the backup we''ve been lacking since Iwan left. With our current injury list, he''d probably start every game. Depends what sort of nick hes in really I suppose. Has he been on the bench at Bolton champing at the bit, or drowning his sorrows at not being a regular with beer and pies?
7. Whats Les Ferdinand up to these days? If its only ''till the end of the season, his knees might just hold out Certainly less of a liability than Duncan Disorderly.
8. Lay off Doherty, we''d have been screwed these last few weeks without him. The lads still only 24, even if he was older, any player needs time to settle into a squad. Having to do your settling in during a season long relegation dogfight probably isn''t the easiest either. How many more of our own players are we going to slate before the seasons out? Rest assured, its unlikely we''ll bring in more than 1 or 2 new faces in January, if any. Nows the time to get behind the team, focus on the positives and get ready for the long hike to May.
9. Ipswich have been looking for a way to get us back for the Ian Crook incident for years. We''d be daft to hand it to them on a plate like this
10. Still think the table will be Wigan, Sunderland then the binmen in 3rd. As usual, after finishing 3rd, Ipswich will be knocked out by the 6th placed team in the playoffs. And how we''ll laugh!
11. Unless we''re absolutely desperate for the money, which I don''t believe we are, then selling Green would be suicide. It would a boundless optomist who could expect any replacement to come in and do an equal job. The 1.2M figure is meaningless. Remember how we didn''t have the money for Huckerby, then mysteriously found it? (where did that come from then? Down the back of the sofa? ) If we go down and he has to go at the end of the season, so be it. Selling him now would be tantamount to the board saying "OK, the games up, we know we''re not good enough to stay up, so lets start selling the family silver" Plus if we stay up, this time next year he''ll probably be worth 50% more. Those are good odds.
12.
3/4-0 loss. I guarantee we won''t score
Look at your signature man! Oh the irony... From my point of view, a draw would be a good result, obviously, but if you think we''ve no chance of scoring whatsoever I think you underestimate our blossoming premiership squad (despite injuries)   Wait and see.....
13. Have you seen this man? He is known to be in posession of a hefty tackle (ooo-err missus) and a dodgy goatee
14. When the old Barclay was demolished, my brother liberated a small chunk of concrete, which now attends every home game with him. He keeps it in the rim of his hat I believe. He has a larger chunk at home as a keepsake too. Anyone else got bits of the old Barclay stashed about their person for games?
15. I can''t think of another City player I''d have been more certain of burying that penalty on Saturday...
16.
I have read both posts and i cant believe everyone is slating 1st wiz and DD every one has opinions campbell more than most obviously and why people insist on moaning about bad grammer and spelling, i...
Settle down there Mr Whitman, did sarcasm completely pass you by? My post was really meant as an observation that sometimes is seems as it 50% of the posts on here consist of DD and that strange Wizard fellow backslapping. Sorry if that males you angry
17. Its "hear hear". Is this the standard of university education my taxes are paying for? Tsk. Only posting so this doesn''t become yet another 1stW and DD mutual backslapping love-in. Shouldn''t you two get a room or something?
18. Its hardly worth getting upset about! I found it quite funny personally, those binners have to clutch at every straw they can. You''re not worried it might be true are you Wizard? Besides, looking around the world we live in, this would be pretty low on my list of "things which seriously p*** me off" But there you go....
19. I heard Robert Fleck may be available on a free in January and Keith O''Neil has just come out of retirement in Ireland....what do ya reckon?
20. Raw deal? As Chase''s "Yes Man" during a particularly difficult time at the club I''ll never forgive Megson. He was an average player at best. Hard working, but also one of the dirtiest players to pull on the hallowed shirt. Sorry, as far as I''m concerned he deserves no sympathy from NCFC.
21. Saddened to hear the news today, despite a "good innings" as they say, Geoffrey Watling was one of those people you expect to be around for ever, such a constant presence he was with Norwich City. He rolled up his sleeves and stepped into the breach left by Robert Chase''s departure. A vital steady hand on the tiller with the best interests of the club at heart was just what we needed to steady the good ship Carrow Rd. R.I.P Mr Watling, and thanks for everything.
