1. As stupid as it sounds I think he needed the bad games against Fulham and Liverpool. He slowly has won the supporters over with the 1-0''s vs Man U and Arsenal, and then the goal at Vile. I think im right in saying that when Turner has played with Bassong, we have conceeded 1 or 0 goals a game, an amazing stat, because thats probably the one of the best record for a centre-back pairing in the whole PL. [:O]
2. I was in E block Lower Barclay, we allgot bored of the wigan supporters and their "one man firm" consisting of the "Danny Dyer look-a-like".So we took the banter to the Jarrold stand [:O] and they actually tried to sing! And then we just got bored and chirped out a few of the old but gold anthems, all mentioned above. The "12 days of Huckerby" chant started it off, fkin class [:D]
3. "He once accused Jamie Carragher of being a "bottler" for retiring from international football, which prompted the Liverpool and England defender to call in to the show to confront Durham"Yep, complete idiot who just runs his mouth making stupid predictions to troll people. He reminds me of Mark Bright last season When he said we would go down and someone was really racist to him. Bright then threw fuel on the fire, tarnishing all of us with the same brush, and got it thrown back in his face when QPR lost to Chelsea and our survival was mathematically confirmed. [:)]Durham needs to wind his neck in. I might tune in on 05/01/2013 after the Peterborough game to see how chirpy he is then.
4. Wikipedia:- "Durham styles himself as the world''s only celebrity Peterborough United fan." Sums it up really doesn''t it? What an arse
5. Nah - I wouldn''t have thought it would make alot of difference mate, everyone will be standing anyway because its away.
6. How about this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj8q1tpbTJYFor Ryan and Elliot Bennett?[<:o)]
7. But I don''t "support" any of them teams. I just follow how they are doing and for happy for them if they''re doing well. [H]
8. Celtic - always prefered them over the HunsDerby county - Liked them since Brian Clough was managerStoke ( [:$] ) - My dad supports ''em
9. This topic possesses a very good question. [:|]I''d rather see us beat Lambert and get into the semis of the COC, even if we go out in that round. Beating Lambert at home is mandatory tomorrow. But then and again, I''d hate to end our unbeaten run against Wigan (no disrespect), but with the way Hughton has the whole squad playing of recent, I''d like to see atleast another 2-3 games unbeaten in the league.
10. Welcome! Well noticed, let''s enjoy it while it lasts. I don''t want to jinx it, but Hughton''s really doing a great job for us. Onwards and and upwards, otbc [<:o)]
11. I''d like to see him applauded before the game for what he did for us, but ofc during the game there''s gonna be some chants aimed at him which I hope are nothing more than a little banter.
12.
Would rather Hooper :-)
Hmmm.. either/ither.Hooper is probably better at finishing but Samaras''s pace and workrate is brilliant. And no i''m not joking about Samaras, hes been linked with a few english clubs, including Looserpool [:^)]
13. Agreed. We need more depth upfront than we currently have. A nice new strike-partner with Holt would be an nice alternative to when we play 2 up there. Austin or someone similar for me, with a nice sensible pricetage (i.e. £4mill or less). The price could be a challenge though, especially with Austin
14. I realised that today. He always plays well against teams when he seems to be put under scrutiny.A bit like Suarez tbh, the more you abuse him, the better he''ll play, as I think we''ve found out. [:$]
15. Im still thinking along the lines of Leeds if they somehow beat Chelsea [H]
16. Sorry but being unbiased, that has to be one of the best ever Premier league games (for both Swansea and Norwich) that I have ever seen. [:D]I cant wait to see what the grouchy MOTD pair lawro and hansen have to say about that :P
17. Holt in there. An interesting watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=AHyThP1ulck
18. Well done Lawro. [ip]Now im wating to see how many swansea will beat us by in yor next predition
19.
You''re all glory hunting plastics, bet you weren''t a the Scunthrope and Doncaster matches, only the ultras went to those games. You probably didn''t even turn up to Spurs, because prices were too high.
I did [H]
20. Dare to dream, if we beat Villa, won both SF''s, and got to Wembley? [:P] I''ve got £10 on us each way.
21. He has actually predicted us to WIN against Sunderland! Yes, win! He has also predicted that we will stay up! [:O]http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20542027Hes still a shte pundit though!
22. I agree with you. Teach Lawro to STFU.I dont wanna jinx us, but I have that feeling of a repeat of Ewood Park last season, where we''re fairly capable of atleast a point, and then get d*cked 2-0 and not even look in the game.I dunno, we''ll see.
23. We already know the importance of the game tomorrow: win and we''ll take another huge step away from the bottom three, and leave another dent in a team that is down the bottom.Looking at tomorrow''s fixtures, only few will affect us (QPR, vile, reading and mackems already played)28/11Stoke Cityv.Newcastle United‎-19:4528/11Southamptonv.Norwich City‎-19:4528/11Chelseav.Fulham‎-19:4528/11Swansea Cityv.West Bromwich Albion‎-19:4528/11Tottenham Hotspurv.Liverpool‎-19:4528/11Evertonv.Arsenal‎-19:4528/11Wigan Athleticv.Manchester City‎-20:0028/11Manchester Unitedv.West Ham United‎-20:00Wigan are the main team accosiated with the relegation battle (apart from us and S''ton), and that looks like a banker away win for Man City. (*touchwood*)Now away from the negativity, and looking up, depending on what Stoke, Newcastle Swansea and fulham do, we could be looking up for the next couple of weeks [:|] . Even if we manage a draw, Villa are the only team that will have gained points on us that are below us that will be there come the end of the season. No pressure tomorrow then. Season-defining game. [:^)]
