  1. That Liverpool back four can really be got at (Even Cardiff scored 3 against them), but if we try and outscore them there''s only going to be one winner! It''s a shame that Suarez didn''t get that 2nd yellow card like he should have done, then we would have been in with a very good chance of taking something away from the game. Never know! I certainly don''t think we''ll lose these last four games like everyone in the media seems to think we will. .
  2. If true this just makes me even more embarrassed to be a Norwich fan recently. Nothing to do with our performances but due to some of our "fans" idiotic behaviour.
  3. I''ve said all along that i''d be very surprised if we lose our last four games. Shows a lot about the character of the players if we do! I have a feeling we''ll get something against Liverpool on Sunday, and it will go to the last game of the season. RvW last minute winner against Arsenal to keep us up? ;)
  4. I''m going for a 3-1 win! Ricky to finally get the service he has been waiting for and will bang in a brace ;)
  5. Had a dream that we won 3-0 so will stick to that! Gary Hooper and RvW the scores. Then I predict i''ll get very drunk later!
  6. Nooooo Houghton is going to leave us :''(
  7. The worrying thing is Johnson isn''t that good either ...
  8. Carroll isn''t worth £15 mil and £100k a week. We''ve got RvW, Hooper and Elmander for cheaper in that in transfer fees and wages, I know who i''d rather have!
  9. I saw him grinding a blonde in Poo''s the other night.
  10. Portman Road, the atmosphere is electric there on match days...
  11. It really is a shame that we''re in the year 2013 and the governing body of the world''s biggest sport is corrupt down to the ground, and there seems to be nothing anyone can do with it. I wish the major european league would break away from FIFA and UEFA. It would be best for the sport.
  12. City 1st - Well of course that goes on, but the goal posts can always be changed. Agents will always try and get more for their clients.
  13. Looking forward to this one as we seem to have quite a good record against Spurs in the last couple of seasons! I''d go for the same team, if it isn''t broke don''t fix it!
  14. I don''t think any of our players will be on around 50k, as one of the reason why the Alderweireld deal broke down was because of his wage demands (that and him waiting for a bigger club). I could be wrong but I thought McNally said that our wage bill will be rising quite a bit in the next year, so i''d imagine we do have more 30k + earners on our books. I know Bassong is definitely on that but Tottenham are still paying some of his wages, bonus!!
  15. This makes me glad we have McNally, since he''s arrived at this football club we''ve conducted our transfer dealings early and professionally. This is why it''s important to always be looking at players to potentially buy long before the window is open. When we came up into the Premier League we did the majority of our business before the start of August, so I don''t understand Holloways point, their list of potential targets must have been unrealistic (bit like Man Uniteds).
  16. Just been reading this article about Toivonen on Sky Sports http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11709/8911803/transfer-news-ola-toivonen-has-no-regrets-about-snubbing-move-to-norwich Seems the only reason he turned us down because werent offering him the lucrative wages he desired! It''s good to see that the club won''t be bullied into breaking our wage budget by players, unlike other clubs in the league, West Ham naming one!
  17. Warren HIll - That''s an interesting point and I think it''s one that Gary Neville mentioned in the Manchester United - Chelsea game. It makes no sense at all to really go at teams unless it''s necessary (although there does need to be a balance) . Especially in the CL where the result is determined over 180 minutes. You can always go more attacking later on, but a too attacking approach from the start could backfire and leave you beaten before the games even started.
  18. I think i''d be too hungover to get to this one, i''d probably end up getting on the wrong train and ending up in Scotland.
  19. Some people might find this quite hard to believe but just because a striker who used to play for us is doing well in the lower leagues, it doesn''t mean they could have produced the same for us.
  20. It''s far from funny. Winds me up how people think playing 1 up front is negative ffs, so naive.
  21. Chris Goreham is the best thing about Radio Norfolk by a mile. Since Neil Adam''s left it hasn''t been the same. They had great chemistry.
  22. So you think United got "lucky" in a number of games last season. Let me remind you that the season is over 38 games and in those 38 games yes they would have been fortunate to win a few, but also they would have been unlucky to either draw or lose the games. Over a 38 game season you cannot simply get lucky and win a title, what are the odds on that? It''s not like every game they won they won with a dodgy penalty or a deflected 30 yard strike. As for their rivals, 89 points would have won the league in the last 7 seasons. So it''s irrelevant how every else does. As for Van Persie you are right in saying that he has had past injury problems and they could come back, but until he gets injured I don''t think you could factor that into your prediction. As equally David Silva or Kompany say could break their leg next week and end up out for the season. RvP didn''t win United the league, he contributed massively yes, but United have won the league with a similar squad without RvP a few years before and became a minute away from winning the league the year before. As for Rooney, if he was so desperate to leave United he would have done already. When you''re out on the pitch your mind would be fully focussed on the game, and we saw at Swansea that he played well when coming on as a sub. Some factors such as their rivals being strengthened could contribute towards them not regaining their title this season, but to suggest that they will not even get in the top 4 (roughly 20+ points drop from last season) is mad.
  23. You don''t get 89 points in a season (could have been more if needed) and win the league by being "lucky". That''s a ridiculous comment. Not playing well and winning is entirely different and is what you get when you have match winners in your team who can do one piece of magic to win you the game. As for RvP injury record, yes he''s had injury problems in the past but has been fine for the last 2 and a half years, but making a prediction based on a teams best player getting injured is just stupid. Like the poster said above, anyones players can get injured and that can have a massive influence on a teams season. For example how would Barca fair if Messi got injured? How would we cope if Bassong and RvW were ruled out of the rest of the season? (probably in his mind when buying hooper)
