    Nobody can fault Jerome''s effort, but he''s there to score goals and more often than not he seems to take fright whenever a chance comes his way. There are far better teams than Norwich in this league at the moment, and our lot just aren''t worth a play-off place. We''ve frittered away our PL opportunities in recent times, high time for other clubs to give it a go.

    I would guess that Klose''s current level of performances have guaranteed his international call-ups well and truly at an end. He is supposedly the leading light in what is proving to be one of the worst defences in the Championship. They are a shambles. I haven''t yet seen the defensive coaches stand up and take responsibility. I assume we have some?

    ......according to the legendary hot-shot, Steven Whittaker. Anybody care to shed some light on the meaning of ''stuff''? Team selection? Tactics? Signings? Board appointments? Player performances? Training methods? Anything else?

    Whichever team from this squad of players, were they to reach the play-offs, god forbid, and were they then to get promoted, god forbid even more........would be chewed up and spat out by every Pl team week in and week out next season, judged on their timid performances against the bottom three teams of late. Probably time to forget about the play-offs and accept that promotion with this inconsistent group would be a complete waste of time.

    The way the club has been run from the top these last few years shows a level of amateurism unbefitting and unrivalled by a supposedly top thirty football club.

Norwich fans have become so desperate, that the PURCHASE of one player, and if the sums bandied about are to be believed, paying SEVEN times his value from a year ago, having scored the princely sum of six goals, is deemed as good business? This guy needs to hit the ground running. The player on loan will be off like a shot if we don''t make the play-offs. Yet again the centre-half position has been ignored. The biggest weakness at the club, and one where AN will continue to shuffle his meagre options until the end of the season, unable to settle on a duo fit for purpose. Good money for Brady, average money for Olsson, but as for Canos...what the hell was that all about?

    Burnley won''t get relegated.......Heaton''s ability alone will see to that. A good goalkeeper can take you a long way, and unfortunately, last season we didn''t have one.

    One would expect so. Unfortunately, with our current recruitment and scouting network, I will be expecting either an over-aged crock or an under-nourished yoof who will immediately go out on loan to some far-flung Scottish outpost.

    ...that a defence that can best be described as porous, and at worst totally carp.... ....is about to lose its left-back, and more than likely it''s back-up left back....two of the better defensive players out of a pretty sorry bunch. I suppose if these two transfers go ahead it will help to shore up our attacking threat down the left and make us even more predictable for opposition teams to set up against.....

    You''re absolutely right, LDC. As far as I can see, the lily-livered squad that masquerades as an ex-Pl side, would look so out of place in the PL next season, were they to get promoted, that a mass-culling(allied to some extremely astute transfer-ins) which we clearly cannot afford, would be required to achieve 17th spot. Our keepers are sh ite, not one of our defenders is of PL standard ( and that includes Klose), our currently playing midfielders are powder-puff ( especially the forum favourite Howson). Brady and Murphy are the only midfielders who could command a reasonable fee if sold, and Brady''s value has probably halved since the World Cup. Our forwards would be of absolutely no interest to any current PL club. Promotion this season is absolutely pointless. Use the rest of the season to blood the youngsters, scout the lower leagues for hungry, quick and skilful players, develop a style of play ( we haven''t had one the entire 2016 ) that gives the opposition problems and that isn''t so easy to neutralise, and rid the club, where possible, of all the dross that has accumulated these past two years.

    Why would we replace one failed manager with another? Despite their wealth of talent, CP have lost 8 of their last 10 matches and have kept one clean sheet all season. Their squad is ten times better than ours. CP fans wanted him out, Newcastle fans wanted him out, which suggests he would be no long term improvement on our current desperate situation.
