  1. I'd love to see us sign early 90s Franco Baresi. Come on Delia, get the cheque-book out.
  2. The defender did fairly launch into that tackle, not sure it was a foul but pretty full-on.
  3. You'd expect two of the three cover options to be first-choice in their own positions, so a Quintilla injury could be doubly disruptive. Seems an odd one, but we'll see if we get punished for the risk.
  4. Maybe a question to answer about where Zimmermann was for the second goal. Think he was pulled outside with an attacker, but no one filled the gap he'd left. Skipp should obviously have tracked Sinclair nonetheless.
  5. A lot of sub-par individual performances today, so take the point and plenty of room for improvement.
  6. It's a Press Association story publishing direct quotes, so reasonably reliable. Not sure why we have the Aberdeen version, but there's a similar one in the Pink Un.
  7. Speaking as a loonie lefty, the Guardian is more centrist than left-wing these days. Of course from a Daily Mail point of view, pretty much anything is far-left, relatively speaking.
  8. Is this one being streamed? Would be good to get a look at Sinani, Sitti and McCallum as well as the young lads.
  9. That's a bit absolute, I'm sure they'll both get chances, they just have players ahead of them in the queue right now.
  10. Oh yeah, not a criticism really, but not one you want people watching over and over.
  11. Lucky getting nutmegged on the edge of the box doesn't count as a touch. 😉
  12. So, like literally every other player ever? If your standard for a squad place is perfection, we might have a problem.
  13. I wouldn't be devastated to see Rupp start there, I think he has something to offer. Martin probably in with a shout?
  14. We have two proven high-level performers, the other "challengers" are to some extent an unknown quantity. Given the choice I'd stick with the tried and tested rather than hoping the others turn out ok. That's of course divorced from any financial consideration (and player desires). It may be though, that if we keep them for another year, market prices could go up and their value could increase further.
  15. Not sure I remember that much patience in the poor run at the beginning of the Champions season! Fair to say that not many others would still be in a job after the post-lockdown run, but I'm glad he is. For this season, I'm sure some patience and a steady nerve will be required, changing manager after all these changes would be pretty counter-productive. Not to say he shouldn't be criticised though.
  16. Yeah, but I thought that was what he was signed as originally. Lots of games anyway, so I'm sure there will be opportunities if DF fancies it.
  17. It was BYG who said that, not me, but I guess if the club's strategy is based around selling him (or at least one more of the stars) then maybe we'd have to take what we can get (within reason).
  18. I also wonder if Kenny will get a chance at No10 at any stage? If we've got the deeper midfield positions covered, it would be good to see what he can do there.
  19. That would be disappointing, as he could easily be the difference between auto promotion and play-offs. I'd hope the club would try to keep him unless we seriously need the cash.
  20. Is that just a feeling, or do you think there's firm interest? Assume we'd be hoping for 25m upwards
