  1. Couldnt agree more, hw was great today. thought he may have got injured in the last 15 in or so when he pulled up, lets hope he is ready for crystal palace
  2. Paul Ifill, Steve Kabba, Geoff Horsfield, Chris Lucketti, Alan Wright, Neil Shipperley and David Unsworth can go permanently or on loan. Injury-plagued midfield man Li Tie is only available on loan   Seem to remember lots of people praising Ifill in the past. Is Kabba a target man?
  3. god jas i''m the devil aren''t i because i was born in 1987. give us a break with the ''i started supporting norwich before you''
  4. And to think that Mourinho wants to have his foreign reserves being a team all of their own in the Championship.... then the future of British football will be largely in league 1
  5. It probably is and that is why we should have employed him
  6. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/dagenham_and_redbridge/6180983.stm   and to think he once turned us down
  7. I was just wondering and have never known to what extent are football club taxed by the Government and are there any exemptions. Is it only on profit?
  8. jas that''s just a cheap shot at worthington. russell has performed average to good since he left us, only this season that he has shown real quality. give it a break on the worthington one on this one
  9. one win from six, five losses. goals scored 1, conceded 10. not great. i can see why they want to get someone in for the january transfer window though
  10. you''ve got a long list there, some i agree with, some I dont. But given that some of them have been playing so poorly its going to be hard to actually get rid of them now. I woulndt be sad to see the back of Jarvis/Thorne/Henderson/Robinson/Doc/Fleming/WLY but who is realistically going to want to buy them?
  11. In terms of the ''big club/small club'' I couldnt agree more - Norwich are a top of the Championship side. That''s not to say that we shouldnt aim higher... The next month is going to be tricky but thanks to the board''s inability to get rid of Worthington before this season (or the August transfer window) I think that this season is going to be one of change - potentially a wasted one. Lets see what grant can manage over the enxt six months
  12. call me rude but this is one of the most idiotic posts i have read recently. we''re not doing too well but there is no way we are going to get relegated. I own this club you say come the end of the season we''ll all look stupid, i''ll take you up on that. saturday was appalling but it doesnt mean we''re suddenly going down
  13. do you know what i couldnt agree more, but it will need a combination of a bit of luck and decent players where you have stated ''new players''/ i think people need to see a bit of reality and as much as a legend as hucks is had he performed in the last few games? his one weapon is pace and it is fading.but we do have the backbone. keep earnshaw for next season and i wonder... dont forget we''ve got chadwick too
  14. thank you very much, decided it wasnt worth the risk and have gone ahead and got one
  15. I would put this on the ''Noticeboard'' but I know no-one ever reads it. I am a member so could theoretically get a ticket now but would much rather sit with a friend who is not. If I wait until next Monday in the hope that tickets will still be available, what is the likelihood of getting two tickets together! Any help is hugely appreciated
  16. of those six on target one was a good save, one was a gial. the others were soft ones straight at camp, shots that any keeper would save with relative ease
  17. it was both - maybe there isn''t an immediate option but the thrower hangs around for six seconds by which time everyone is being marked tightly. what is irritating is that we dont mark similarly tightly when defending a throw in
  18. Usually its corners that dont clear the first man that get on my nerves, but today it was Colin and Drury managing to lose possession every time we had a throw in. Rarely seemed to happen when Sunderland had a throw in. The others need to learn to move around to give space and then how to pass it back to the thrower......
  19. Camp - very impressive apart from a couple of dodgy clearances Colin - poor, someone tell him how to do throw ins Shackell/Dublin - couple of schoolboy blunders but good, particularly Dublin Drury - average Hughes - decent game, would prefer Chadwick though Robinson - average, as was Etuhu. Had five men in midfield and yet still Sunderland always seemed to come away with it Huckerby - poor, didnt do a lot Earnshaw - poor sod, no service, no chance. the best striker in the division and he''s being wasted   Though eagle showed he can put a decent ball in when he came on too
  20. hardhouse 44 if you base all your judement on statistics then that says a lot about how much you read into things...
  21. Citizen Journalist Foghorn, perhaps if you were at the game you would now precisely what was going wrong, not the fact that tinkering meant we lost today. Murphy''s goal was top top drawer. Fine, we werent great but there were decent spells. Also in relation to the statistics of shots. Other than the goal Sunderland had one decent decent effort (great save from Camp at the beginning of the second half). Otherwise neither keeper was troubled. I dont get to too many games but you realise how different it is to the bbc live text service, so give the ''Grant is the antichrist'' thing a break
  22. We are a ''smaller club'' in terms of support in England, but not compared to Europe. Simple as that. There is far more support for all clubs in England compared to somewhere like Italy. The small club mentality is irritating, we certainly arent a ''small'' club but relative to the rest of the country we are not a ''big'' club either...
  23. I can''t agree. Drury put in a fair amount of tackles and by comparing him to Chadwick you are comapring him to the player who put in most effort today. Fine, Drury should too, but there are others who you should pick on first The first goal was created from a lucky deflection to put the two young Ipswich players in the box - fine there was hesitation but I''d rather he didnt dive in while in the box - before some slick passing and Shackell wrong footing himself. The second Colin could and should have got to the ball before Haynes
