If not then I don''t really see the worth in it.Pacheco is a fabulous little footballer and would love him to be part of our squad going forward, and that doesn''t just come from viewing a couple of youtube videos...remember Goran Maric. Played in the right position he could be great for us.Vokes was a really highly rated player a few years back, I must say I don''t know alot about him but he must be better than Wilbraham, surely.Good luck to both players and I for one hope that you both shine in the yellow of NCFC.OTBC
It will be worth it if they score the goals to take us up.
Indeed, and they are better than CMS.  We''ve saved some money there !!
Pacheo is indeed a better option than CMS given the patient, passing game we play. No chance of getting him on a permanent of course, he''s far too promising.
CMS is a class act and he has proven himself this season what ever league, Im really pleased these two will give us a real boost.....IN LAMBERT WE TRUST!
I don''t agree.  He has proven himself in Div1 no doubt but that is very different to the Championship where he managed only 10 in 43 games last season. That is poor.
1 in 4 for a team for a team who finish bottom in his first season isn''t bad. While Vokes got 6 in 37 for Wolves who were Champions. Since then he has managed 2 in 27 and 8 of them games were in League 1. If CMS record was poor what is Vokes?
Vokes is 21 whereas CMS is 27 so it''s not comparing like for like. Also, Vokes has played in the Prem has he not ?
He has, a whole 5 sub appearances! I don''t see how age is a factor for these next 8 games. CMS knows where the net is and is in the best form of his life and Vokes so far hasn''t proved he''s a goal scorer.
CMS didn''t know where the net was on Monday, and in fact I don''t remember him getting a shot in, and that''s Div1. He''s just as much a gamble at this level as these other guys but far more expensive. Vokes is also a full Welsh International. Age is a factor because CMS was 26 when playing in the Championship, but with all his experience managed only 10 goals. Vokes is also 6 foot 2 as opposed to CMS who is not the tallest, and that extra height will be very useful. I''m happy to have Vokes.
He actually had a shot well saved. So your basing your opinion on one game, where his team didn''t play very well. If you had watched one of his games where he scored one of his 27 goals this season, I suppose that would make him the best player in the world. Hardly difficult to be a Welsh International, and he still struggled to get called up, shame CMS isn''t Welsh because he would get handfuls of caps. What experience? It was his first season playing in it, so he was less experienced then Vokes but scored more! Vokes has done nothing to prove he''s better then CMS and I bet Vokes doesn''t score more then 3 goals in his time here!

CMS has scored more goals just this season then Vokes has in his whole career. If Vokes was any good he wouldn''t be a loan journeyman. If we had signed Pacheco and CMS today, that would of been perfect and made every other team in the league very worried about us.
Bit like that rubbish player we''ve got in our squad at the moment. What''s his name again... oh yeah, Wes Hoola-something?
I was being sarcastic mate, wanting to do a traditional pinkun view on the signings.I''m excited about the signing of Pacheco, looks a real handful who can cause havoc for opposition defences. Not too sure about Vokes, hasn''t left much of an impression at Wolves, Leeds, Bristol or Sheffield United. His record for Leeds in League 1 was dreadful.
You need to go on the Sheffield United boards to see what they thing about Vokes, he has been a right handful in the games he''s played for them and they''re gutted he hasn''t gone back. Very good signings imo.
Or alternatively go on Wolves and Leeds boards and see what they have to say. I struggle to see how he''s any better then what we already have or offer anything different.

 7. Pacheco won''t cope with the championship, only 5ft 6. And Vokes will be a goalscoring great like Wilbraham, Martin and Jackson.
 8. Surprise surprise, I was right.Cheers for all the abuse, was going to post about Pacheco earlier but didn''t want any more abuse. I suppose I won''t bother next time.
 9.
Bet Platt plays a blinder and scores against us for Coventry on the last day of the season
I highly doubt that, he struggles to get a start at Coventry.
 10. He''s going to be here by the end of the week ;)
 11.

Its funny how people criticise Jackson and want Martin back, despite Chris scoring the same amount of goals as Jackson in more game time. Maybe people should get behind Jackson instead of an injured player who has so far proved he''s no better.
Its because Jackson is crap :)*snigger snigger*Well, way to lightweight and not cutting it at the moment anyway...... Jackson is 4th choice, and thats where he remains I am affraid !
How can you say he is not cutting it at the moment when he''s never had a run in the team. Just look at Holt at the start of the season to see that a striker needs a run in the team for the goals to start coming. In the games against Bristol City and Hull, Jackson has played well and I hope that carries on until the end of the season and hopefully the goals will come.

 13. He also tried to get Jack Hobbs in. He wanted the move but Lambert was too late as the paperwork had already gone through for his move to Hull.
 14. They had a harder game then us today and managed to get more points then us. I can see them beating us to 2nd.
 15.
Lansbury has just posted a photo on Twitter of Zak on the coach to Hull and called him Keith Lemon.....One Keith Lemon, there''s only one Keith Lemon, one Keith Lemon
That would be a brilliant chant!
 16. What about this?                        Ruddy Martin     Ward      Whitbread      Tierney           Crofts      Fox       Surman            Lansbury       Hoolahan                            Holt
 17. Our Plan B is hope our Plan A doesn''t go wrong for the next 9 games.
 18.
Well as McNally said today that talks have broken down. Im really happy that we are not buying him for the £3m that peterborough wanted. For £3m we could get Billy Sharp from Doncaster, who has scored 14 goals in 26 games this season playing for a team who have had a poor season. I know that the £3m would include add ons so maybe £1m upfront with an extra £2m as add ons but Billy sharp has scored 14 in 26 this year, and last year scored 15 in 33 which are both very good striker rates. Sharp is also younger than CMS [y]! We could give Donny jackson as well as cash for Sharp and that could be what we need to keep 2nd.
So you want us to bring in somebody who is injured until the end of the season, instead of the top scorer in the country. You do talk some rubbish.
 19. Dion said he heard a rumour that he might be joining Norwich and then everybody has acted like it''s been made a confirmed transfer.
 20. Why does everybody criticise Jackson on here? He played well for a player short on confidence and caused more problems for Bristol then Holt did. Once he gets his goal, he will become good! It''s interesting to see how much praise is given to Jackson in the BBC match report, they obviously know more then all the Cody McDonald lovers, who can''t appreciate a good performance from Jackson and just want to unfairly criticise a player already low on confidence, just what we need.
 21. I thought he played well today, showing good touches and looking positive, troubling the Bristol defence. I thought he caused them more problems then Holt, who I felt had a bit of an off day today, just wasn''t involved as much as his usually self. The lack of confidence Jackson has at the moment, was evident in his poor finishing but I think if he gets a goal he can be a asset to us for the rest of the season.
 22. Lansbury coming off the bench to score and set up another in the last minute to give us the win and send us 2nd tonight could well be our defining moment of the season!!Wes was fantastic tonight and Lansbury did brilliant coming off the bench. Another great bit of management from Lambert to drop somebody and they come back flying, he''s done it was Hoolahan and now Lansbury.
 23. He scored 2 against them last time, so it could be a good move.
 24. If Bristol just sit back and hit us on the counter I can see a repeat of what happened when we played Portsmouth earlier in the season.
 25. Burnley are still the biggest threat to the playoffs due to their games in hand.
