What I couldn''t work out was which wings they played on. Pilks started on the right and Redders on the left. Redders very early on skinned the Man City right back and I thought then that we would be in for an interesting afternoon. Pilks & Redders then swapped wings, all very good I thought, swap back & forth during the game, I''m in favor of that. BUT they didn''t swap back, Redders was on the right wing for the rest of the game. I''m convinced he is stronger and more dangerous on the left wing, not sure why they changed like that? Could have been decided between themselves? Could have been instruction from the bench? After all, Snoddy is played on the ''wrong'' side. Anyone have any suggestions, is it something I''ve missed?

I am convinced that we have some very good players in our club, some very very good players. I also know that they are not playing to their potential, let alone training on to improve their skills. I also know that ultimately the buck stops with the manager, Hughton.

It would be good to see Leroy or Howson slotting a few balls through for Wolfswinkel, The passes did seem to be going to the wings a lot though, would have needed Hooper on as well to try to have more bodies to aim for in the box.

next time he EPL rights come up for grabs, Sky will be forced to dream up some ginormous numbers to keep BT away, or they will lose Champs League & EPL which is surely unthinkable for them on a business front. The only way it will pan out is that either SKY or BT will end up giving EPL teams cash sums which we cant even comprehend at the mo. I cant see SKY wanting to give up EPL without some seriously big numbers being talked about. IF we are still in the EPL we will hoover up that cash thankyou very much.

Howson was bought in to eventually replace Holt as captain, whether he is gonna be better than Fer at that role NOW is something I dont know. We were not shopping for players like Fer when Howson was brought in. If Fer was made capitan it might actually mean we can keep hold of him for longer in our team, before he moves onwards and upwards.
