1. Agbonlaor would have ran any full back ragged on Saturday. Naughton is no slow coach, Agbonlahors turn of pace is frightning!
 2. Anybody thinking that should have been a penalty needs their heads testing! Ball to hand??? The kid wasnt even looking at the ball. Had that have been against City, there would be uproar on here!
 3.
Poor Ruddy having a mare today. In fact we''ve looked poor today, a yard off the pace. Hopefully it''s just a blip. I did fear that something like this would happen, a bit of complaceny and Blackburn doing their homework against our team and formation, perhaps?[:(]
Out od Curiosity, did we look poor at Carrow Road, or over the radio?
 4. Lad that was thrown out down the front was absolutly plastered, not sure what he''d done though. Lad just behind me was upset that City fans were allowed to stand.
 5.

Same as me then but I was gonna get another Home Shirt with either Hollahan, Johnson, Tierney on it. (Just because its all plucked and has little random lines in it now lol).
Am feeling generous so I''ll pay a tenner towards your shirt if you get it with Hollahan on it and wear it at Carrow Road. I''m sure there''ll be a few more people on here who would be willing to chip in a tenner, then you''ll get it for free! [:)]
I''m in
 6. On a serious note, I think £40 is a bit steep, thats only a couple of quid less than Old Trafford and Anfield.
 7.
It''s like going to any other away game but you don''t have anyone to talk to.
Cracking answer
 8. is the only word I can use to describe Saturday. The fans were outstanding. the players and performance was outstanding. I was in the home end, right next to the Yellows and I was so proud. Anybody who says ''United were crap'' or ''had an off day, need to figure out why they were. And that is because we stopped them playing. Apart from the 2 goals they scored, I felt comfortable. We didnt park the bus or put ten men behind the ball, we had a real good go at them, as you would expect from Lambert. Prior to the game I said we would not be in a relegation battle come May and I believe that even more after Saturdays performance Proud Yellow - OTBC
 9.
Seeing all those City supporters sitting in the home areas
Like me.
 10. We will be under pressure for a long long time, but we wont be parking the bus.   I remember a interview with Grant Holt after the Pompy match, he said the reason the fans appricate the way we played football last season is that even when we were away, we went out to win every and even in the dying minutes we were trying to win matches.   I appricate this is a different league, but Lamberts footballing philosphy still applies.
 11. Worst, campest football song ever.   Playing it at full time is so tinpot and cringworthy.
 12. Was a little bit naughty but just an adrenylin rush!
 13.

Is it a friendly on Saturday? Use it as a chance to see if untried players are any good?? Have you been sniffing lighter fuel this morning? The pnly chnage I would go for is Crofts in for Fox. Fox has been a star in the last two games but we''ll be under the cosh and dispossessing them will be the prime task. Mungo
Whether you like it or not, we will have no choice but to use those players this season. Our current centre midfielders are: Crofts, Johnson, Fox, Hoolahan We are playing three in the middle right now. If you think that we aren''t going to need to use Lappin, Smith, and Surman this year then it is you that is sniffing lighter fuel this morning! We have two wingers, plus Surman. If we get Pilkington injured then do we play the diamond? Or do we start trying Surman or Lappin on the left? If we get Bennett injured do we play Surman or Lappin on the left and Pilkington on the right? Or do we try and play Smith on the right? We just don''t have the luxury of a big squad, we actually have a very small squad. Lambert has said it himself, we need to use the entire 25. It''s no good getting to late November and early December when injuries and fatigue set in, having nobody with any minutes to bring into the team. I myself wouldn''t have expected to see Lappin this season, I''ve changed my mind by watching Surman. It''s not unrealistic for us to see 2 or 3 injuries in midfield at the same time, we have seen 3 injuries at centre back already. Let me give you a hypothetical scenario... in November, we find ourselves with Fox, Pilkington, and Crofts out injured. We need to pick an XI...... knock yourself out.... name your XI...... As for the friendly bit, that''s just silly. It''s a well known tactic employed in this league, hence http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jul/15/premier-league-weakened-teams-holloway Now, pick your XI.
Of course we will need to use our weaker squad members occasionally due to injuries, suspensions etc, but not all at once when we have no need to change a winning team. That''s crazy.
Maybe it is crazy, I don''t know. My logic is to keep Swansea guessing. Maybe playing Lappin and Smith was the crazy bit, maybe applying the same logic but bringing Crofts, Holt, and Jackson, into the side wouldn''t be so crazy? I''d play Fox though actually, purely because it''s probably his dream to play at Old Trafford, having come through their system.
Its my dream to play at Old Trafford (for Norwich obviously) would you play me?   So much bad logic in your posts!
 14.

I stopped reading your post when you suggested we started Smith, Jackson and Lappin
Why is it that you don''t rate Simeon Jackson?
I really like Jackson, but not as much as I like Holt and Morison. Infact I''d give Jackson the opportunity before Vaughan and Martin.   As for Smith and Lappin, you couldnt give me one plausible reason why we would distrupt a winning team to play either of them.
 15. Im so impressed. We have no stand out individual''s, no big time Charlies, just a squad of footballers full of desire and hunger to play at the top level. Paul Lambert is a genius for what he as done from day one, to the squad he as asembled now.   Holt - Had a very similar start to life in the Championship, which had people on here jumping on his back. Strikers thrive on confidence and the only way to get that is playing back to back games. I am still confident he can do a job and at some point would love to see Holt and Morison playing together.   Bradley appears to be keeping Crofts out of the side - so we have to be impressed with him.   Elliott is full of beans and fearless.   Although we have a thin squad, we have a couple of gems on the bench, Holt, Jackson, Crofts and Surman,   Im not sure if the broken leg is playing on Pilkingtons mind, but he seems a little timid, although he as done nothing wrong.   The Ruddy doubters seem to have gone quiet, made some outstanding saves.   Ive just said in another thread, I am confident that we will not be in the relegation battle come May. There are far worse teams than us in this League and I think we will suprise some people this season.     My only worry............................................ How long before a big club want to take Mr Lambert away from us?
 16. I am very proud of us, not just last night, but since the first kick.   The only dampner was the result against WBA.   I dont want to be too confident, but I would be suprised if we are involved in the relegation battle come may, I think we may be comfortably safe by then. We dont rely on one player, we have a real team ethic, hunger and desire to play for each other. As much as our squad is ''thin'' we do still have talented players on the bench.
 17. I stopped reading your post when you suggested we started Smith, Jackson and Lappin
 18.

Actually played football at a decent level? I read on here so many comments and opinions about how we should play and who we should drop it would be interesting to see if any of  you have actually had a good insight into the profesional game. I see a lot of Chris Martin bashing going on but from my point of view this season he has been a players player, rather than a fans player. I think his hold up and link up play has been outstanding at times. Never holds the ball for longer than he needs too and i personally don''t think he has been given a lot of credit because we''ve not won when he has played. For what its worth I would like to think i have played at a decent level with adult football and was coached in my youth by amongst others Dave Stringer and Sammy Morgan. My family has a long connection with football with My uncle being a current manager in League 2 and My Granddad previously being Chief scout for Newcastle and Aston Villa amongst others. Would be interested to see at what level most of you "experts" have played too..
Jose Mourinho was an amateur footballer in Portugal in his youth and Arsen Wenger never played professionally... sorry.. your point is?
I''ve been on here long enough to know you love a good arguement Jas so i''ll try my best here.   Although Jose may not of played the game at the highest level, he is very much what people would call a football man. i am sure you don''t need me to lecuture you on the history of Jose Mourinho cause i am sure you know all there is to know but were i to start i would highlight that in his 20''s he got himself a job at Bareclona with the late Sir Bobby Ronson where he worked his way up to assistant manager with Louis van gaal. I could use a few cliches about him serving his "appreciteship" under two of the greatest managers the game has seen but i am sure you can make your own mind up on that.   Moving on to Wenger you may or in this case may not know that he played in Ligue 1 for Strasbourg in the 70''s which believe it or not is the top league in France so the man was no mug with a football at his feet. He made only a modest amount of apperances but they did win the league and the Uefa cup. He was as much a worth winner of those medels as say Michael Owen was for Man Utd last year.   So although none of them ever played international football or such like they are both very driven men who would understand the game and not just good Ole kick n rush.
Great post Re-Wenger and Mourinho.   People dont see the massive gap between people that have played at say League 2 level and them play Sunday level.   Arsene Wenger was a footballer.
 19. He can justify it because he is a performing musician.
