Jamie cureton......
Minster Canary replied to lobstercatcher2's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Only God knows why Glenn couldn''t be the bigger man for the sake of the Club, and have Jamie playing regularly. We all know his capabilites as a player and today justified that - couldn''t be happier for the lad. -
I had 3 quid on 4-0 at 40/1 so I''m over the moon!!!!!Wished I''d put a tenner on!!!When the fourth went in I couldn''t watch anymore........a great day, even if I hadn''t been lucky with the bet. Carrow Road was a great place to be today.[:)][:)][:)]
Well played my friend! Lucky day all round for us then!

Most programmes are available at the club shop (both at Carrow Road or the mall) or if you''re not local, contact the printers who usually have a few spare! And agreed with your comments about Fozzy and Curo, both had solid games.

On the subject of that lovely old boy, there speech about him on the PR was great, I heard numerous people loudly applauding his name as it was being broadcast, as well as myself.

To be honest, I don''t think Gunny will get the job, I''m not even sure he''d want it, from what I gather he is enjoying his current role as head of player recruitment and would like to continue that under the new team, anyway my shortlist of three would be:1) Aidy Boothroyd and Malky Mackay2) Darren Ferguson3) Mark Robins

Fozy played well didn't he
Minster Canary replied to Gingerpele's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yeah it was the best I''ve seen him this season, not a dazzling performance by any stretch, but it was solid and very reasonable - let''s hope he can build on it. -
Wow! Your friend saw Munby at Dunstan Hall. He was probably enjoying his lunch. Why do people always presume that he is with any "candidates"? I very much doubt they are holding interviews already! Roeder only got the sack yesterday!
Yeah he may well be enjoying his lunch, I don''t know! This is why I said it''s very possible two and two could make five. I just thought I''d post it on here as it may have been of interest.

...my friend works at Dunstan Hall, and I got a text about 15 mins ago saying that he''s spotted Roger Munby having a cigarette outside the main building, not sure if that means he was talking to candidates or what, as I said it could probably be a case of putting two and two together and getting five but apparently he is definately there. (p.s apologies if this leads to nothing!)

Thats fine, just stick it in one of the existing relevant threads.

City WILL beat Barnsley!
Minster Canary replied to First Wizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I get the feeling we''re really going to stuff Barnsley, but I just hope we don''t beat them with someone like Gunn and Tommy Wright in charge so the board think "Wow they''re brilliant! Offer them permenant deals!" -
Good call Blinky, now that Roeder has gone, he should now be given a fair crack at the whip, just like everyone else.
-
I can genuinely see there being a very quick permanent appointment for this Saturday, I''m really hoping for the Aidy/Malky combo to head up to Norwich!

Just had a reponse from Neil Doncaster
Minster Canary replied to TheCardinal's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I echo those sentiments, credit where it''s due, he does take time out to get back to us, and so he should - just wish he''d listen to what we''re saying! -

Well played the stewards! Did well to get him on the stretcher in the first place! Must be a heavy lad with all that concrete in his boots... -
Early predictions for the weekend then?
Minster Canary replied to Minster Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You think Mr Arrogant will all but admit the fans were right and he was wrong by starting Lupoli ?
I''m sure he can concede one decision to the fans if it means he keeps his job. -
ROEDERS TRANSFER TARGET
Minster Canary replied to golden coppel's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
And the lottery numbers for this Saturday please mate? -
Keep the lad, he''s not as bad as he once was, sometimes has good input to debates.
-
Better than what we''ve got, Celtic wouldnt want a lot for him i don''t think, maybe something for the summer but not going to see anything permanent this window I''d think.
-
I''d rather see Delia have the choice of team selection after a few drinks... ...but then again I''d rather that than Roeder!
-
Don''t hold your beath, it''s going to be a long 26 days...

How do you think we will fare away at Sheff Utd? In all honesty I''m not expecting anything, even though in recent seasons we''ve managed to put in a good shift up at Bramall Lane - I can''t see Roeder motivating the lads enough to overcome a team who will be there or there abouts at the end of the season. Not sure we''re expecting any signings before the weekend so I''d go with: Marshall Otsemobor Doc Drury Bertrand Croft Clingan Russell Hoolahan Sibierski Lupoli Subs: Nelson, Omozusi, Fozzy, Bell, Daley
