1. He should start next qualifier as James and Foster out for a while.
 2.
Again we look for a scapegoat and ignore the players.  Gunn isn''t a magician, you cant turn poo into gold.... He is a good man who has done his best.  Would still like an experienced man though.
spot on carlos
 3.
cove have a pen!
get the f*ck in there
 4. No team seems to run away with with title these days with 95 pts+, which makes the league tighter and relegation points higher
 5.
Yes, I was there in the Clock End with the City fans ( it was still terracing then )....... Sherwood then Phillips- with a fantastic free kick in front of the North Bank - put us 2-0 up, then it went to 2-2. Andy Linighan scored with a powerful second half header from all of 18 yards to put us 3-2 ahead then came those two late goals from Arsenal. We were robbed that day no mistake. Strangely enough it was only four years later, when Linighan was an Arsenal player, that he did us a huge favour by burying a similar header to beat Sheff Wed in the 1993 FA Cup Final. Because of that header we qualified for European football so thanks Andy..... Whilst we certainly did snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in that 4-3 defeat we did manage to turn round a 2-0 half-time Arsenal lead at Highbury into a 4-2 win in the first game of that fabulous 1992/3 season. It all evens out in the end.
im sure sherwood scored the third to go 3 - 2 up a volley into roof of the net with 10 -15 mins left
 6. I was there too, we went 2 up with Phillips and someone else scoring, went 2-2,then Sherwood scored to go 3-2 up with ten mins left. They equalised then had injury time pen - I thought Bowen pushed Dixon into the net as they went to celebrate they goal from the penalty and then it all kicked off from there.
 7.

And what about Lita? Reading didn''t manage to sell him, did they, unless I missed something? Surely they would welcome someone else paying his wages?
Sorry to have to tell you ... but .. he aready served 3 months with us .. so his return is not possable!
Yes he can, but it would have to be until the end of the season
Excuse me sir!we would have had to buy him!  he  only allowed to be loned to one club for the maximum of 3 months! check the reports before xmas! otherwise would roadent would have made it last longer!!!! also check the fa website!
Think you are wrong there as Roeder wanted him to be on loan until season end. dont know which reports you read.
 8.
Think about it, if we lose it means we''ll be closer to relegation. Closer to administration and closer to Delia Smith out wooo [:D] Come on Wolves
w@nker
 9.
Gunn fielding Fotheringham is a sure sign already of the formers tactical naivety; especially selecting him as captain ffs - as was another poor decision to stick Russell up front again - the all too late substitutions were another terrible blunder and it all adds up to Gunn being too much of a novice who has learned nothing from watching over a years worth of Roeder''s mistakes. In theory the Board have swapped tactical ineptness for tactical naivety and in practise it''ll see us relegated.
I must have missed your tenure as England manager
 10. we were as good as promised from premier league side on loan? As gunny would have known about this,  i wonder if it will still happen?
 11.
The final table of the 1996/1997 season actually looked like this. 12.
(a) if this is true, and given the gates we pull in relative to other clubs, every other club in the Championship bar 2 or 3 is unlikely to survive without huge financial backing Correct. (b) if this is true, football must be heading for a huge crash at some point in which clubs start going to the wall more frequently than high street stores Correct. (c) How do Burnley, Barnsley, Plymouth, Preston, Swansea, Bristol City, Coventry and Blackpool manage to stay afloat with smaller gates than ours? They all have millionaires (wealthier than Delia at the helm) (d) Are we paying our players far more than their market rate? No - but if we were paying less, people on here would be spouting ''lack of ambition''. (e) Are we paying other people''s players far more than we can afford? No. With loan players we pay all or a percentage of their salaries whilst they are on loan here. There is an overall budget for transfers and wages, loan salaries come from that budget - so we''re not paying more than we can afford but we are relying on the Board to top up that fund as mentioned by ND. (f) Most worrying of all - Doncaster views Norwich City as a League One side without other people''s money. I feel expectations have been lowered sufficiently all round from the point where we were a Premiership side to the point where we''re "lucky" to be in the Championship. It''s 50 years since City came from the Third Division South on a heroic FA Cup run. Perhaps the anniversary will be marked in another way come the end of the season. Quite possibly. The root of all evil is Sky TV and the billions they pump into the Premiership. Ok, it did good to start with, enabling clubs to build nice new stadia but it''s now got to the point where they''re funding the Premiership the same way Ambramovic funds Chelsea... and the same way the banks funded bad mortgages and we all know where that ended up. Football needs to be run like a business, cloths cut accordingly across the board. Unfortunately it will never be fair while some clubs continue to be bankrolled - so we either have to get ourselves a sugar daddy and join the party or take it on the chin and make the best of a bad job, as we are at the moment.
I know Bristol have that Lansdown guy and Coventry have Ray Ransom and chums, but didnt know that the others had investors that put more in than Delia. Does anyone know more detailson the other teams investors?
 13. I heard it! Good to get a few player chants back,we dont seem to have many good ones at the mo...remember the Malkay one to the tune of the addams family...brilliant, or the McViegh one. And Patty has been good this year the lad will only improve as well imo.
 14. It seems our only clean sheets are when hes at centre back. There was alot of doubters about this guy, but hes looking a good spot by GR now. Anyone know the stats on clean sheets with/without him at CB?
 15.
I personally thought they were alright, how exactly does sitting down stop you from singing?? My mum is unable to stand for the duration of the match and couldn''t do much about the fact some a**ehole decided to remain standing in front of her, we asked him politely to sit down and he gave us a mouthfull - if the stewards hadn''t told him to sit down we would not have seen the game - but if you say they were pathetic it must be true - nice one!!!!!!
looks like i wasnt the only one who thought they were pathetic then berks. I think you missed the point there
 16. How pathetic they were today, they didnt like anyone singing or standing. Looks like they are not used to singing as Reading were so quiet today. Anyway fair play to lads at the back, good humour and in good voice!
 17. We look better with him than without imo. I see what your saying about where do we play him, but I like to see him given a run alongside Clingan in the middle.
