1.
Even though I watched the game last night it''s only now that I''ve realised that it won''t count as it''s a Friday game. So how about Arsenal'' to win at Southampton (at 23/20).
That''s very gracious of you Wooster  although, when I was admiringly looking at your selection earlier, I thought we should accept your choice as you are unique on here at eking out those draws without anyone ever including them in their final selections. I found myself remembering doing the pools in my younger days when one had to come up with 8 draws. Not sure if that format is still around in this modern world but I thought, my word, if they are, Wooster must be a multi millionaire. Maybe you''re the man we need for big investment at Norwich City FC.Nutty, to be fair to all, will probably accept your alternate selection but it''s good to see your good form continuing.
 2. Some late scores are starting to break for us in all the matches that were looking like upsets. Let''s keep the fingers crossed.
 3. I wonder if all these aliases voted and tipped the scales in favour of Brexit? [:|]
 4. Two thirds of the match gone and Roma a goal to the good. It may seem squeaky but Roma knows a win puts them right on the tail of Juventus. For Cagliari to score they would have required an audience and blessing from the Pope. That wasn''t going to happen on Roma''s turf.
 5.
Is the takeaway coffee any good at NISA TG and does it fit in the qashqai drinks holders?
Good Lord! If the world was suddenly cast back in time I sometimes wonder how today''s generation would take on the challenges of our ancestors.
 6.
Proof again Dear Yankee that the USA is a humour desert. I have had weeks of American ''humour'' in the last few months and nearly died overdosing in laughing at a Sacha Baron Cohen movie on a flight home.
Of course, Rudolph, there''s always the possibility I was being serious.
 7. "Come on Delia, wake up, you''re snoring. You have to watch this tripe along with the rest of us."
 8.
From the press conference :-"With Martin Olsson, its good business for both clubs, he''s left on good terms, we have irons in the fire"
Well, that''s all well and good but when is that Iron returning from that fire?
 9.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2042298/Mansfield-CEO-Carolyn-Still--29-agrees-marry-clubs-chairman-John-Radford.htmlWhat is it that women find so attractive about men with money lol?6 years ago though, how on earth did this come up on your radar OP?
The same thing that men find so attractive about women with collagen, peroxide and silicon.....that initial "rubbing the hands with glee" moment. When the interviewer asked Ms. Still much earlier what experience she would be bringing to the club from her background in fashion ( he kindly did not elaborate ) she looked a little perplexed before responding with "I will be bringing passion."I''m glad we have Delia.
 10.
Norwich City currently sit 11th in the Championship.Since relegated in 1995 we have finished higher than our current position 12 times, and lower on 9 occasions. When those were seasons spent in the Championship, we have finished higher 7 times, and lower on 8 occasions. We had never finished higher than our current position before 1965.We finished higher than our current position for 25 consecutive seasons between 70-71 and 94-95. Frankly some of the hand wringing, whingeing, "Oh its the worst Norwich have ever been" is cringeworthy at best, and badly informed at worst.Yeah our current form is boring, but my God, not half as boring as some of our self entitled "fans".
Just to keep the record straight....of course we finished fourth in the 1960-61 season.
 11.

I know. Sorry Purple, I was being mischievous. I''m in complete agreement with you.
Ah. I should have learned my own lesson. Several months ago I did what I thought was plainly a joke post purporting to believe we were about to be taken over by some magnate who was actually in the process of buying Everton. Parma got the joke straight away, with a "Toffee" reference, but some others took it at straight-face value. I admitted then I should have plastered the post with winking emoticons.
It might have been better just to get plastered and forget about the whole thing. [:D]
 12.

Fat c unt
Nice one.   I''ll remember you posted that the next time you decide to try and tell me what to do. Or would you like to apologise for putting that word on here?
I think this forum has had enough apologies of late. [;)]
 13. Nice nostalgia, Swindon. There''s still a few of us still on this forum that enjoyed his Norwich experiences. Some truly magic moments.
 14.
Ooh, does that mean I get a point? Not sure I''ve ever had one before. How many do you need to get into the inner circle?
Not too many as the inner circle is likely no more than a pinprick......and I''m not too sure about the pin part.
 15. How very grown up of you greavsy. However, dealing with your issues in a mature way ( first ) and not bringing your complaints to this forum does not allow you to be properly tagged as a Percy Positive or a Negative Nancy. Not very socially friendly of you.
 16.
I was listening to the commentary of the Spurs game and one of them said "The problem about getting players from the Dutch Leagues is goals are alot easier to come by...you don''t know if you''re getting a Van Wolfswinkel or a Van Nistelrooy"
In our case you can usually be certain we are getting The Lady In The Van. I''d also have more faith in Maggie Smith to put on a great performance.
 17. I have to go but congratulations JB. This is done and dusted and the Pledge can be applied.
 18. I have no problem with what Alex Neil stated to the media. In fact, I think he was being tactful by calling it "naive." He might have used the word "dumb" and then some on here would really have their jollies in berating him. Whether Neil said it to the media or in front of the team in the dressing room, it was appropriate to state openly what the rest of the team already knew and should make sure isn''t repeated. There are instances where a quiet word to the player in private is appropriate but this wasn''t one of them. Neil was doing his job, not just for the benefit of this occasion but for ongoing reference in future games.
