1. The away fans always do, Bly. It''s at Carrow Road that our ''supporters'' lets us down.
2. Lincoln Canary in negative post shocker. Hold the front page!
3. Ironically, he''s probably just trying to get attention.
4. Good luck to them.   I really don''t see why so many City fans are anti-Swansea. Jealousy, maybe, at the media who can''t say a bad word about them, but the fact remains that they do play some wonderful football. They''re a great side to watch and i much prefer them to Wigan, West Brom, Wolves and the like.   That said, i do still believe that our achievement of staying up after consecutive promotions is ''better'', so to speak, than their''s, but you have to admire them.
5. For anyone thinking of getting one, be aware that any away cup games count in your ticket. And the limit is definitely 5 cancellations.
6. This is all speculation, but i''ve heard from a fairly good source that it was Tierney to West Brom. They failed to get him, so bought Liam Ridgewell from Brum instead.
7. This is probably completely incorrect, but it wouldn''t surprise me if they''re fed up of having a manager that gets linked with every job going. Although it''s undoubtedly a good sign as he must be doing something right, it must be somewhat distracting both for the squad and for Lee himself. Is Clarke slightly overrated though? As someone else has said, have they really improved at all since the season we were in League 1 with them? They have a big, big budget compared to some of the sides around them, and i''m not sure it''s really shown in their results. It''s still a remarkably inept decision though. Are they really going to do any better? There''s some good sides down there these days. Got to feel sorry for the bloke, but he''ll go on to bigger and better things.
8.
I slagged Wes earlier in this thread and I make no apologies, he was terrible on Weds and he has been found out several times this year. Today he was absolutely brilliant, actually lived up to what he is capable of, which unfortunately is a bit rare. If he could reproduce today''s performance week in, week out, then he would be a really top quality player and would not only be in the international set up, he would the cornerstone of Trappatoni''s team! No-one questions his ability, just his consistency!
He wasn''t ''found out'' then, was he? He had an off day instead. Y''know, like very other player in the world will have now and again. Geezus.
9. Apparently, though i can''t verify this, over the last two seasons that Lawro has done his predictions, if he''d been correct in every game, Liverpool would''ve won the Premier by a mile both times. Shows what he knows, really.
10.
Journey using the A14 is 2 hours and 53 minutes, queueing traffic is less than 3 km, max time in queue 10 to 15 minutes. There isn''t a quicker route even with the queue time taken into account.
11. We get forward. Bollocks to worrying about Bale, let''s play our own game. They''ll have enough problems of their own if we get going. Pfft, too much negative thinking on this thread! ;-) Seriously though, would love to see us keep to the 4-4-2, but just can''t see it. I imagine Lambert will go 4-5-1 and try and contain them. Hopefully i''m wrong! If De Laet is fit i can see him starting at right back, seeing as he''s got a bit of pace about him.
12. Would rather see us sign Sharp, personally. The man is quality.
13. Why, exactly, does it need to be someone ''experienced at this level''? Tim Krul wasn''t exactly experienced, and neither was Vorm. Both have been exceptional so far. As much as i like Ruddy, he does make too many mistakes. Would love to see Fraser back next season to properly challenege Big John for the jersey. Regardless of what some of you on this forum seem to think, competition for places can''t be a bad thing.
14. Ring the club. The ticket office staff have been excellent so far this season. I''ve lost 2 tickets so far and they''ve replaced both of them with no hassle.
15. ''We''ll stand if we want''... Not, ''we''ll stand all game''. We''re all adults, chap. We don''t need stewards nagging us every few minutes to sit down. Try experiencing it and it soon starts to grate. Right, now i''m definitely leaving it.
16. Apologies, Mr Pie Supplier. I saw the picture, and jumped right in. On a tangent, you must be doing a roaring trade. The song worked, as, after singing it a few times, the stewards seemed to give up with their persistent pestering of us to sit down. The comment was aimed at no one in particular, HoltsRightFoot. It was a ganeral comment to those who complain about our songs. The point is, when we in the Snakepit sing songs towards the Barclay or the Jarrold we are not treating them as the opposition. We''re trying to get them to make some noise back, to perk up, and to start their own songs. It''s a little geeing up of the crowd in other parts of the ground, if you will. And it tends to work, at least, for a while! I genuinely don''t see how that can be a bad thing if the atmosphere is flat, as it so often it recently. I''ll leave it there, i think. We''re just going in circles!
17. There''s every need for sarcasm when people are complaining about singing at, of all things, a football match... Why take it up through ''proper'' channels when the song we sang seemed to do the job? And, if you hadn''t noticed, us chaps in the Snakepit spend more time than most ''generating an atmosphere in a positive way''. That is, of course, the same positive atmosphere that makes football the great spectacle it is, and which others enjoy about the game even if they play no part in generating it themselves. Selfless lot, us in the Snakepit. That should fit right in with your ''Big Society'', eh? ;-)
18. I was replying to the chap who said we spend all game ''hurling abuse at the Barclay''. Sorry, perhaps i should''ve made that clear. I still don''t see the issue, however. So we aimed a perfectly clean song at the stewards. Disgraceful... Some of you love a moan.
19. Deary me. How dare we sing songs and try to generate an atmosphere at a football match, of all things! Shocking behaviour. We aim songs at the Barclay when the Barclay are particularly quiet, because it seems to be the best way to get them singing again. It''s not rocket science, lads.
20. He looks world class in a world class side like United, as would a lot of players. If you were to rate him solely on his England performances, would you call him ''world class''? I very much doubt that any of us would.
21. Absolutely spot on Jed... Except the missing ''a'' in ''Bulgaria''. ;-)
22. Simple fact of the matter is that the Blackburn player shouldn''t be appealing with his arms in the air when the ball is anywhere near him. He should be getting on with his job of clearing it and keeping his team in the lead. N''Zonzi has no one to blame but himself.
23. Gave us his vote as ''Club with the most hardcore support'' at the end of the show. He was very complimentary throughout. I like Collymore as a pundit, but not just because he raves about us at times.
24. As well as the 4-6-0 formation, we also had the single winger formation, and making Darel Russell a striker. Tactical genius, Roeder.
25. I can''t quite believe some of the tosh i''m reading here. Even for the Pinkun forum it''s plumbing new depths... Firstly, can i just point out that people aren''t just commenting on ''Darren''s side of the story''. We''re commenting both of how Darren saw it, and how we, as fans, saw it. No doubt Roeder would have a different opinion on matters, but i''d say the ''results'' we picked up under him and the fact that history proves him to have been utterly useless as our manager would nullify his point of view. He failed, of course he''ll try and pass the buck for that. I can''t recall who said this earlier in the thread, but could someone, please, explain to me how Roeder was ''quite good tactically'', or how he ''did his best to bring in new players on a budget''? Maybe it''s a case of certain fans having short memories, but the Roeder i remember was and did neither of those things. The Roeder i remember was the one who sold our best defender to pay the loan wages of an utterly useless reject from Newcastle. The Roeder i remember was the one who loaned in a young forward without, evidently, bothering to go and watch him even once, as proven by the fact that he suddenly became ''lightweight''. The Roeder i remember was the one who consistently played a negative 4-5-1 despite being a goal (at least) down. The Roeder i remember was the one who made the useless halfwit Fotheringham captain. The Roeder i remember is the one who, apparently, called our best player a ''has been'' despite being shown just what he could do on that day in Sheffield. Name me another player in our squad that day who could''ve scored the goal Darren did? Yes, he had a hard job to do when he came here, but the fact of the matter is that he made us even worse. I genuinely never thought i''d see Roeder apologists on a Norwich forum. Deary me.
