1. Hate to say it, but the lack of support has been a feature of the season, even at away games.
2. For what it''s worth, i''m actually a home and away season ticket holder. And a shareholder, to boot.   I didn''t go to either the cup game against Spurs, or the AGM though.   But don''t let that stop you posting drivel, chap.
3. The bit where that became in any way relevant to my point.   By your own logic, chap, the only people missing out are Johnny-come-lately 10 away stub peasants. Who cares if they''re annoyed at not getting a ticket. It''s not like they''re real fans, eh?
4. I''m not sure why Mungo''s so upset.   Real fans have an away season ticket, right?   At least, i think that''s how this is supposed to work....
5. No Snakepit? I''d give it 2 games tops before you lot were whinging about how quiet the stadium is...
6. Agree wholeheartedly with the OP, and fail to see how anyone who was at the game can think otherwise.
7. Apparently Cameron attempted, and won possession with, more tackles than any other defender in the Premier yesterday.   I can''t say where they got that stat from, but if it''s true then his inclusion seems fair enough.   They do explain the ''Team of the Day'' selection on their Twitter feed and Facebook page, in all fairness.
8. I''ll clap him.   Some of you have very short memories.
9. Well said Mick.   I sang the song last season, and stand by the spirit of it even now. However Saturday is not, in any way, shape or form, the appropriate time to sing it.   So pipe down, sing something else, and yell it out next season instead.
10. I can''t agree that Wolves fans are ''the same as every other set of fans''.   I''ve only ever had trouble at 3 games. All 3 of those games were at Molineux.
11.
Dont think so, he will be poor now that he has earned a move to the premier league, classic loanee syndrome IMO
You must have missed him during his time at Reading, then. He''s a class act.   Not many Championship players get sold for £6.5 million. The ones that do tend to be a bit handy.
12. I hope this is a joke. He can take his pick of sides in Portugal, for a start.   For what it''s worth, i''d have him though!
13.
and we poached lambert from a team that just beat us :O im scared.......
We''d better not lose to Wroxham!
14. Brilliant thread.   The man is an absolute hero for what he''s achieved here. We all knew he was going to leave one day, but he''s leaving us in one hell of a better posititon than he found us in.   Thanks, Paul. Best of luck for the future.   And thanks for that night in Portsmouth.
15. I''d happily have Malky as our new manager, if it weren''t for the thought that if it all went wrong he''d be risking his legendary status here.
16. Talking to Villa last season didn''t seem to adversely affect either Martinez or Wigan.
17. No.   And anyone who does has an extremely short memory and should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
18. You mean he''ll end next season as their top scorer, the same as Jamie was our''s?
19. We should thank him for three brilliant seasons with us.   Anything else would be utterly pathetic, but that tends not to stop City fans.
20. I''m glad it''s not just me. Holty is a hero and always will be a hero.   He''s played his entire career in the lower leagues, not earning the millions we associate with footballers. He''s proven he can play at the highest level so how can you blame him for looking for a big payday at the end of his career? He''s done his bit for the club, and i unfortunately think it may be time for the club to do their bit for him. If he wants to leave, don''t stand in his way, and put the bitterness aside.
21.
Roeder managed us at Stoke once; 1 of his earlier games when we were bottom, I recall a front 3 of Croft, Dublin & Hucks. I the very first point you make is so incorrect shall I even bother with the rest of your post? The 1 winger system actually took us on a 13 game unbeaten streak from the bottom of the division. He was then found out the following season because of his man-management & the quantity of short-term loans he brought in, because the funds weren''t there to make the 10+ permanent signings we required at the time. His permanent signings that summer were generally decent players; Kennedy, Stefanovic, Clingan, Hoolahan & Bell whom we made profit on in 6months.
Well, one of us is recalling incorrectly, Trent. We definitely played a 4-6-0 somewhere, but i''ll admit it may not have been Stoke. The memory is somewhat hazy, after trying so hard to banish all recollection of it from my mind, y''know. Not all of us remember those days as fondly as you, apparently! The game i''m referring to is where we supposedly set up with a 4-5-1, and Russell (the lone striker!) spent the entire game sitting deep. In his actual position. Stroke of genius from Sir Glenn, that. Says a lot that the best you can say about his signings is that he bought two complete sicknotes who cost us hundreds of thousands in wages over the course of that season, two complete mercenaries who couldn''t wait to abandon the sinking ship the moment they got a better offer, and Wes, who he played out of position every game after signing him. What a hero. Incidentally, seeing as i mentioned Lupoli, here''s another of those remarkable management moments from Roeder. Anyone else recall him making the signing, then coming out and saying that Arturo wasn''t ''big enough'' to play in the Championship, to justify his continuing non-selection? Evidentally, Glenn hadn''t quite done his homework on his transfer target. Bloody idiot.
22. Roeder good tactically?   You must have forgotten the infamous 4-6-0 formation at Stoke, the utterly useless 1 winger system, making Darel Russell a striker, Huckerby on the bench or the right wing, Gibbs as a central midfielder, and so on. He consistently played nearly everyone out of position. That is not being ''good tactically''.   As for ''spotting a good player'', this is the same man who made Fotheringham captain, and brought in Pattison, Bates, Camara, Bell, Grounds, James Henry, Koroma, Lupoli, Omozusi, Pearce, Velasco, and sold our best centre back in Shackell to pay the wages of Sibierski.   Other than buying Wes, the man did absolutely nothing right.
23. They''re from Brighton and one of them has long hair, so they''re hippies and smoke cannabis? In the same way that you''re a teenager from Norfolk so obviously like to mug people, have sex with your sister and have webbed toes, i presume? We can all make silly generalisations, Hogesar, but from what i''ve seen of your previous posts on this forum you''re more intelligent than that.   Maybe i''m wrong.   Can you tell i live in Brighton and have long hair? ;-)   Seeing as i know the guys you''re talking about, consider them friends, and saw and heard this entire episode due to sitting a couple of rows back, here''s a couple of points:   They went down to get a pint, with me, at half time, and you were nowhere around, so how you know what they were saying at half time is beyond me.   The players WERE useless.   It WAS dire.   It WAS worse than MK Dons and Leicester, in my humble opinion, and evidently their own, too.   It was actually ''Surman has had a shocker''. They also clearly stated that he''d had a good season, but was just dire on the day. Fair comments, i''d say. He WAS useless.   The players certainly didn''t play as if they were bothered. They looked like they were already on the beach.   They never said Lambert was ''tactically useless'', they said Lambert got it wrong on the day. He did.   They CAN have an opinion, as any fan can. No ones is better than anyone elses, and that includes yours and theirs. For the record, it was your friend who caused the fuss by effectively saying that they weren''t allowed to state their opinion of things. Reality check, kid: They are; whether you like it or not.   Are people not entitled to moan when they''ve paid they money and given their time to watch their team when all they get back is a half-hearted display? I''d say so, personally. Lack of effort is the one inexcusable thing on a football pitch, and lack of effort is what we saw yesterday.   I''ll give you one thing though: they could both do with minding their language a bit!
24. Can''t remember the name of the place, but got mine done a few years back in the place on Gorleston High Street. The chap did a great job, and was a lot cheaper than i expected too.
