1. In the early 70''s we regularly attracted 35,000 crowds, but in those days football was cheap. I think the Board may be underestimating Norfolk''s resistance to paying for top flight football.  Having said that, we would fill the ground for Arsenal Spurs Chelsea Man U Man City and most clubs would bring between 1500 and 2000 fans, so I would think that we would average not far short of 30,000 The plan would probably also mean that away fans would be put in the River End
 2.
Poyet upped the stakes by saying he''s not for sale - putting pressure on Norwich to raise their offer and flagging up the lad for the rest of the league to see he''s actually available at the right price. Clever by Poyet, if the rest see Norwich are in for him it might provoke some interest from another club with a bigger cheque book. In a bidding war we don''t stand much hope.
Poyet didn''t say he''s not for sale.  He said that Brighton don''t have to sell him and they are 2 completely different things. Player and agent will be agitating for a move - he could probably double his money at least by coming here.
 3.

Dont buy the Sun it has been and always will be full of s**t..... Buy your local paper E D P or Evening News and no i dont work for em......
So don''t buy a national paper which is full of s**t, buy one of two local papers which are also full of s**t? Why not a broadsheet such as The Guardian or The Independant? I
If you really must encourage us to read The Independent, please try to spell it correctly.
 4. Would someone like the pleasure of posting this on a Burnley site?  They''ve been getting on my nerves all day - jumped up little northern monkeys
 5. Sky TV didn''t cause Ron Saunders, John Bond, Mike Walker or Martin O''Neill to leave Carrow Road, so I think it slightly unfair to blame Rupert Murdoch, however unpleasant he may be.  Football has always been like this and it always will be.
 6.
well thank god for that.......and sally and kevin are getting back together, happy days
Hasn''t the day been bad enough without spoiling Corrie!
 7.
No bookies offering odds on next Burnley manager.   So who''s in the frame for the Norwich job?  Malky?  Chris Hughton?  Curbishley?  Allardyce?  Hodgson?   Who have I missed?   Gus Poyet Sean O''Driscoll Eddie Howe
 8. DCA''s statement that bookies are rarely wrong is sadly based on his own gambling experiences.
 9. What would you like the club to do?  Phone you every half an hour to let you know if they''ve heard any more from Burnley?
 10. I would recommend the hot pies from Morrisons, which is over the road from the ground (sorry Delia).  If you buy anything in our ground you''ll feel like you''ve been mugged. Is that the same Matthew Spring that used to play for Watford and Luton?  I think Peter Grant tried to sign him for us, which says everything you need to know about Peter Grant. Does Elliot Omozuzi still have a bit of a rest after 20 minutes?  When he was here it used to last about 70 minutes. Enjoy your day on Saturday.

 12. The form table hasn''t gone down very well on TWTD. http://www.twtd.co.uk/mb.php?m=v&t=91745#3

 14.
Who will Colin blame today ? ....... LOL
Holt
 15. According to Chris Goreham, Holt''s shot went straight through the M''boro keeper.  That must have hurt.

 17.

Dammit Pete, you''ve beaten me too it! My particular source works there and says that the players were completely hammered and gatecrashed a wedding. (I''ve just tweeted this too, so now its going to look like I''m trying to nick your scoop lol) Probably why Warnock was deflecting the attention away from his own players'' poor performance...
Good on you mate I''m a bit old  to understand this tweet lark, the quicker thier fans see it the better
Now on Vital Football - QPR.  14 views so far
 18. I thought that Neil Warnock was using the media after the game to make life difficult for Grant Holt. With this in mind, I have forwarded this story to a national newspaper.  Hopefully they will print it, whether it''s true or not!
 19. Dereham Town for me. Although I''m 20 miles from Dereham I regularly go to see them in midweek or on a Saturday if I''m not going to our away game.  It''s well worth the trip - they play great football
 20. Warnock knows that he''ll just get his wrists slapped by the FA but if he does get charged he''s probably managed to make referees look twice at everything involving Grant Holt.
 21.

but I have always had a doubt about left footed centre halves and would prefer to see 2 right footers in there
Why? I think you get a better balance playing one left footer and one right footer tbh.
If a striker attacks the space between the two centre halves and one is right footed and the other left footed, they will both be attempting to tackle with their weak side.  I assume it''s not just me that thinks like this - you don''t often see left footed centre halves in top club or international sides.
 22. It would be hard to leave Whitbread out after a performance like that,  but I have always had a doubt about left footed centre halves and would prefer to see 2 right footers in there
 23. Well, the penalty was a gift, and we didn''t really look like scoring until the penalty, so perhaps he has a point.
 24.
Was surprised to hear this on the radio looked a good penalty shout from where I was (River end) I was sure Holt had got a head of the defender!! Oh well it makes up for Jacksons against the binners
I hasd a good view from Barclay Upper.  I thought the referee was going to book Holt when he blew his whistle.  Some of our players looked like they were trying not to laugh. I didn''t get a clear view of the second one
 25. Don''t know who the referee was, but that was probably the best Christmas present that Grant Holt will ever get!
