Class JT pure class... I can just imagine him in typically 2 days behind mode: ''it''s a wonderous thing I did hear, our new starlet from my beloved Spurs has been called up to the young whipper snapper U21 squad. Hurrah for hughton!'' He must be that baked he literally lags 2 days behind the rest of the civilised world

Lappin has had quite a phenomenal career with us, he''s now the only player in the squad who has been there all the way through the good times and the bad. He is a useful squad player, nothing more nothing less Martin - we are thin on the ground up top, hughton I believe has seen something in him I''m yet to see it but I''m not manager of NCFC
-
Well done on BW who has won the award for the ''most predictable troll stock response'' 2012 Don''t call us. We''ll call you

Johnson for me - exceptional performance

It wouldn''t surprise me if the Kane deal was done and dusted long before the deadline
-
Bugger that I''m going to get him to pick my lottery numbers lol

Kane - this kid is going to be a bit special

How are we going to finish 17th?
Yobocop replied to Tetteys Jig's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It''s a very astute signing. Much like naughton last year, Kane will have a massive impact and I fully believe his goals will keep us away from trouble this year. Time will tell if the money clubs like Southampton and Swansea have chucked at new players will benefit them in the long run, I''m happy that the signings we made before today + the addition of Harry means we''ll go again like we did last year with a close and young talented squad and finish roughly in the same position as last year. There''s worse teams than us this season. I think Southampton and reading will both struggle, despite a good start west brom will fall away, wigan will be down there not to mention QPR (despite the money they''ve spent) I''m looking forward to another great season at CR -------------------------------------------------- -

Do Clubs sit on transfer deals to add to the drama?
Yobocop replied to Yobocop's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
i.e. burying your head in the sand, as per usual -
Why are we still so tin pot?!
Yobocop replied to Tetteys Jig's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You know nothing of the transfer fees and wages that we have spent - they are undisclosed You do know that the above three clubs have backers far greater than we have Perhaps you could tell us why you feel the need to attack OUR club and use the word ''tinpot''
Someone didn''t read the OP!!! -

no city1st, your completely missing the point. Log onto the Sky Sports website now and see for yourself the drama they are trying to create, if you have the opportunity watch Sky Sports News and see the words they are using....look at the frenzie it wips up on the internet, look on twitter, look at the comments on here....''we are desperate, I''ve been on here since 11am'' I personally couldn''t care less if we don''t sign anyone today, we could do with a striker but I''m happy with the signings we have made, anyway I digress....I know clubs sit on these deals once they are done then announce them on deadline day...I was just wondering whether people on here ever thought this might be case. -
Rather than that being the question....I think it answers a lot.

Yes City1st, Because Sky have turned deadline day into the biggest drama of the century. Clubs know this, so instead of announcing signings 2 days prior to deadline day, they announce it on deadline day to show the fans they have done business on the drama that Sky have developed called: ''DEADLINE DAY!!! WE MUST SIGN A PLAYER ON THIS DAY AS THE LAST 3 MONTHS SIGNINGS MEAN BUGGER ALL'' That is what I am proposing and that is the point I am trying to make. -

Do you know what I mean City1st? If they announced the signing on let''s say Wednesday then it wouldn''t have the same impact as if they announced it on JUDGEMENT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Who thinks clubs sign players maybe Wednesday then sit on the deals until deadline day to make themselves look like they''ve done deadline day business? Is this a dramatic show for the fans or has the hype surrounding deadline day got so much for clubs they simply have to be seen to sign a player on deadline day?

What like when you creamed your pants when you thought biglia was signing?
