And brown looks so much better, looking more like a goalkeeper than a striker! BTW I also dont think Wolves away was a particuarly good game for anybody!

I agree JC but only up to a point. How the team worked when we went up was two fairly tough CMs that wrestled the ball out to the wings where the exciting speedy wingers would get the ball into the box for the strikers to score. We have a good CM with those two, and a proven goalscorer of a striker up front (and I think Dave would help too). So then it must be the speedy wingers that are a bit missing hm?

Please everyone dont be disappointed when its not Oba though! Please remember that he was first choice at Inter Milan not too long ago, but if you want something to hang on to then look at the fact that although being an awesome striker (see his overhead kick against Bolton for proof) is almost never in the starting line up so perhaps Sam doesnt rate him.

What if packing the squad with loans is not the answer? When we went up we had the Huckerby Crouch Harper thing, and I think Kevin Cooper (?) perhaps to fill out the squad. This was because the team was quite tight as a unit, the important word there is team. perhaps getting lots and lots of other players that probably wont be here next season may not help, just putting this up for consideration...

Bally Smart would work, a decent loan signing would be nice or have Brellier (woo now he finally showed his potential) sitting then have Chad-Russel-Smith across the middle in front of him. Against Watford, now that Dion is injured and Hartson is tenfold more effective coming on at the end so he isnt tired, it comes down to Dave or Brown to partner a hopefully resurgent Curo. I would like to start the case for Dave. You may recall last season a certain English team called our big Czech out for a trial. He played in a friendly, scoring twice. It looked nailed on they would sign him, but they sent him packing. Upon coming to us he was adamant he would not have another trial, saying it was ''the worst experiance of his life''. This sounds like a classic case of ''why didnt we sign him'' for Watford.
