  1. great posts Loan City and Desert Fox, but you are banging your heads against a brick wall. At least a few sussed Cam''s "argument" out. The club is "busting a gut to make funds available? They can''t even spend the money donated through fans not taking the rebate option. But quick, let''s rush and get our tickets for Yeovil and Brentford!
  2. Downloads - how pompous and self righteous! Just for the record, I am not from Norfolk I''m from Essex originally ok? Also I spent a several years living in Australia and visited the US, so don''t try to pin some kind of "little norfolk" mentality on me. Actually I spend quite a bit of time sticking up for the Yanks and usuallg get on quite well with them. but there''s nothing wrong with a bit of banter for God''s sake! Here''s an idea for you, why don''t you go and create a meesageboard for you and your friends. call it ww.purists, perfectionists and humourless.com. should make you very happy. Oh, and by the way, try watching Michael Moore''s "Sicko", for info about the US medical insurance. See if you still think it''s great...
  3. Bloodwagon - you called it soccer!!!!!!!!Aaarrrgh, they are taking over your brain already!!! It''s football, it''s always been football, even though some of the stuff we played last season didn''t look much like it...
  4. bloodwagon - well done for supporting NCFC for 50 years. However it now seems that you have got old, broing and delusional. I, however, have supported city for 34 years, and am still cool, sharp opinionated and modest. Bad luck, you now only have expensive medical insurance to look forward to
  5. sorry C.I.B. the new sheep are the same as the old sheep, and they are the ones following Delia and Bryan. Sounds like you are right there amongst them. ps - my opinion is more valid cos I know what I''m talking about, and don''t refer to the keeper as a "goal minder"
  6. some get excited because they are sucked in by the relentless propoganda spewed out by those who think that unless you fall in line behind those in charge at Carra Rd then you are some kind of traitor. The fact is that each season the playing squad is weaker than the last, and we are on a relentless trip to obscurity unless we get a new owner.
  7. good to see the Delia Defence League are in robust form today, continuing to con the naive and the gullible. Do not at least some of you remember the same blind optimism last year? And the year before that, and.........
  8. more importantly - no rebate cash as yet. by the way Arthur, no postal strike in Norwich area, only London and one or two places in Essex. So unless the season tickets are coming from London there shouldn''t have been any delay.
  9. american "soccer fans" - making a valued contribution to this messageboard...... NOT!
  10. would be hysterical if it wasn''t so tragic. looks like some of you are getting so excited you''ll be disappearing off to your bedroom with a box of tissues (thats'' you Smeg, and what an apt name). Gunn had 19 games last season and demonstrated his "skill" as a manager perfectly during that time. And what is said about Mushrooms? Kept in the dark and fed on.....Dream on, but nothing changes untl the witch is gone
  11. looks like we''ll be starting 2010-2011 in Divison 1 again then....
  12. Southend eh? Rivetting stuff, no wonder newspaper sales are on the increase. Hope you posted it on the Lincoln City and Colchester websites as well, would hate to think they missed out on this earth shattering info. You see why some of us get annoyed Cam is this - we like to cling to the fact that we used to be an imprtant club, in the top division and respected because we played good football. Then Delia came along and destroyed all that. So your bit of clumsy propaganda, designed to get us all so scared "ooh look Southend could go bust, better stop complaining, better be thankful for what we''ve got" is just, well, a bit sad really.
  13. plus now we have a Preston fan talking down to us - "we have a spare striker, should get 20 goals AT YOUR LEVEL" Thanks Delia, now we have fans of nothing, rubbish teams like Preston lording it over us.
  14. "Whaley is well down the pecking order at Preston" so says the Sky report. But still good enough for NCFC, and for some fans to be almost delerious with excitement about signing. What was that about the club managing expectations? As the honoruable Arthur Whittle said on another thread - "where is your belief?" Why are you satisfied with this?
  15. i don''t give a monkeys whether the fee was 100k or 350k, we are being outbid for a player by the mighty Brighton and the club have invested NOTHING in response to the continuing loyalty of the fans. and STILL some smug posters are happy to put up with it or are too dumb to see the light. as one poster on this thread said, the only thing left is to return season tickets, which you are entitled to do right up to the first match of the season. So NCFC you have approx 3 weeks to show whether you have any ambition at all and actually sign some quality, or there will be a space in the lower Barclay for some other mug to occupy. I could put up with being in DIVISION 3, if we were actually trying to get out of it, but looks like we''re going to wallow in it. enough is enough
  16. i will settle for Smith and Gunn served up on a plate right now, why wait for the inevitable?
  17. if ever a side had mid table medicocrity stamped all over it then it''s our team for tonight
  18. cannot compete with Brighton in the transfer market. just about sums it up, the ghost of Neil Doncaster still walks the corridors at Carra Rd, preaching prudence
  19. Yeah Keane takes spending to over £7 mill. But so what? We''d rather have our cute little Norwich under lovely cuddly Auntie Delia. Thank God that wicked evil Marcus Evans didn''t choose us to invest in, how terrible would that have been? Still it''s all going to go bust for them, then they will learn, you just wait, ok so we may be in the Conference by then but we''ll have the last laugh...
  20. spot on the OP and Loan City. A bit rich from Lappinitup who thought it was oh so amusing to keep posting "we''re doomed" threads right up to the point when we were relegated. Not the action of someone who actually gives a toss about NCFC
  21. I.S. - it worked out pretty accurate last year didn''t it?
  22. i''m feeling kinda sick actually. we''ve signed nobodies, we are going nowhere with the current regime, we will not get out of this division with the "squad" assembled and we will not even scrape into the play-offs. Every year the same garbage, and every year we get let down
  23. totally and utterly fooled again, at least some folk were. Blew all of my £72 rebate money on some exceelent bargains on Amazon.Com yesterday and it felt very good indeed. Much better than waiting in vain hope of us signing a decent striker
  24. 4 weeks to go and still no evidence of a star player for those who didn''t claim the rebate. perhaps there will be the opportunity for these "true" supporters to buy shares in Woolworths? or the opportunity to club together and buy London Bridge? or a pyramid scheme? or...the possibilities are endless.
  25. shortfab - pathetic post of the day re the rebate, well done. the fact that NCFC have 18000 plus season ticket holders compared to the probable average in this division of about 3000, yest it''s still the fans fault that we can''t compete in the transfer market eh? you need brain surgery - BADLY
