1. Culverhouse is a possibility, though he was available in the summer, and we didn''t go for him then. Unless he was just waiting for any legal action to settle against Villa. He''s a great coach, and I can''t see him getting another Premiership job.
2. Does nobody remember the Ryan Hartley affair? Or Dion getting busted up over leaking the Mackail-Smith story? We are talking about the same McNally who sent the police round to a kid who had obtained photos of the latest kit!
3. The problem is that statistically only 4 teams I believe have won automatic promotion (finished in the top 2) back to the Premiership since the Premiership began.I''m reminded of the Nigel Worthington comment about Dean Ashton "If I''d known he was going to play like that, then maybe we should have sold him in the summer". You colud sack Adams now, and come January the next manager might be going to McNally and quietly suggesting that a few players weren''t truly up for it and it might be for the best if a Premier offer was on the table that we took it.For every manager with a good record of getting teams promoted, they have a pretty equally dismal record of bumping around at the bottom of the premiership: McCarthy, Mackay etcIf a great manager was available I''d take him in a heartbeat. And don''t say Pulis...........

5. Thread necromancy should be a crime. It was Kevin Muscat by the way.
6.

No idea of numbers...
Shame on you nutty!  Even the binners can count up to 82 million. [:$][;)]
I dread to think of the amount of freakish inbreeding required to obtain that many fingers....... [:P]
7. No idea of the numbers Gunn, Culverhouse, Bowen, Butterworth, Polston, Newman, Megson, Crook, Goss, Fox, Sutton, Robins, Efan Ekoku, Phillips, Eadie, Ullathorne, Sutch, Cureton, Akinbiyi, Prior, Andy Marshall,I''d say David Smith might still have been around at that time.
8.
''...picks up baton''In our title winning season 09/10, four players with the christian name Michael played for uscan you name them ?
Theoklitos, Nelson, Rose , SpillaneQ : How many Norwich managers also played for the club?
9.
Robert Green , Chris Woods , Lee Camp, and .....I believe Graham Benstead never actually played for QPR, despite being at the club.
I stand corrected He made one first team appearance for QPR, away at West Bromwich Albion in the 3rd round of the F.A. Cup in January 1983. At QPR he also won an England Youth Cap before moving to Norwich City in 1985.

11. 1) I was underwhelmed when he was appointed, he''s slowly beginning to turn me around. It''s very early days, but so far he seems to have a clear vision of how he wants the team to play, and the types of players he needs to make his various systems fit. He''s kept the bulk of the squad together, and they seem happy. His weakness is obviously his lack of experience. 2) Very happy transfer wise. I was surprised we kept so many of the squad together, and the bigger thing was how many players we kept rather than who we bought. Having said that Lafferty and Grabban appear to have started very well. 4) Depends on the system, so far having Johnson and Tettey boss the middle of the park has allowed Adams to play 4 attacking players in front of them. 5) Pilkingon is big, strong, good in the air, crosses well, has two feet and strikes a deadly free kick. But as others on here will point out his achilles heel is his fitness, and whether he can stay fit enough. Sadly I suspect he''s the new Andy Reid. No one doubts his quality, just whether he''s got the stamina and athleticism 6) The Murphy brothers & Loza
12. To be fair, even the most insane of judges is going to view being sent to Ipswich as a fate worse than death.
13. De Laet was a walking disaster area for us. Gave away a penalty in his first game, and over time was quitely bundled towards the exit. That said, it was three seasons ago, and he was young at the time. Maybe he''s finally fufilling the potential Man United saw?
14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28976281Pity we couldn''t have played them first
15. Norwich 3 -2 Sunderland, first game of Dave Stringer''s last season so must have been the 1991-92 season?
16. Surprised - I would have thought Steve Clarke would have been a better bet for them
17.
As to Adams, a good start but - without being negative - he has shown signs of having what Napoleon looked for in a general, namely luck.
Not as much luck as Lambert though. Having rewatched the seasons highlights of the 2011-2012 season I was surprised how fortunate we were that season. We certainly took full advantage of sloppy defending.  First game against Wigan. Norwich score from keeping/defensive error. Watson hits a screamer against the post with Ruddy well beaten.3-1 down at home to Blackburn, Johnson''s wildly deflected shot and a soft penalty get it back to 3-3A wasteful Liverpool side hit the post multiple times at Anfield and Norwich are hugely lucky only be 1 down at halftime. Holt does a better job and it finishes 1-1Collocini and Steven Taylor injured and replaced by two centre backs who can''t head the ball, Norwich win 4-2
18. I doubt he''s fully fit. He had the hamstring problem at the World Cup that caused him to miss games, then got extended time off after that for his honeymoon. He wasn''t in the squad for Wolves, and he got 20 minutes at Watford when were 3-0 up and taking our foot off the gas. I doubt he got much of a pre-season when the priority would have been starting Johnson (and to a lesser extent Tettey)We''ll see with Fer. I remember Jamie Redknapp''s comments after the West Ham/West Brom game that he would be a great player IF he could do more than 20 minute spells every 3-4 games.
19. Good thing to note is that Peter Grant is their first team coach. Whilst he''s got a good coaching pedigree, his scouting is utterly absymal,as we saw at Norwich. I''d bet the Fotheringham recommendation comes from him.
20. I''m just guessing, but I think it was a joke ;)
21. From the Pink un itself
Beaten Town counterpart McCarthy appeared willing to accept Adams’ public apology when he later faced the media. “So he should (apologise). I tend to deal with my matters with other managers and coaches individually and on my own. He probably said that because he thought I’d mention it,” he said. “Listen, he’s got a good team, they’re a good side and they’ve just beaten us. If it’s a lesson in etiquette (he needs) then the first people he should shake hands with is me and TC. I’ve done it when we’ve been beaten six and five.
What an utter tart
22. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28914061The former youth-team coach [Neil Adams] rushed over to the travelling supporters after the final whistle. Former Republic of Ireland and Wolves boss McCarthy said he would have not brought up the issue had Adams not done so, but suggested it may have been a "lesson in etiquette" for the young manager. He said: "The first thing to do is shake hands with me and TC. I''ve had to do if after being beaten by six and five. It''s what you do. If that''s a lesson today then fine."
23.
A few posters have disappeared. Why don''t they like celebrating a victory?
Probably because their team got a last minute equalizer against Birmingham
