1. think aviva/NU would be good for us, with RAC on the away kit- (if the black and orange rumour is true???)
2. surely this means he won''t sign for another english cup in any league then?I ask this due to the fact that anyone could draw us in the cup?
3. the morning after??????????leaves a club at 04.30 then drives at 08.30 - that''s NOT the morning after.Come on folks
4. I saw him leaving at half-time, from behind The Jarrold Stand.......nice to know he cares enough to stay and watch his teammates - injured or not?
5. Dear Citizen Journalist Foghorn, you haven''t a clue how the police operate so keep your ill-informed opinions to yourself, appalling? thick? pathetic?  If only you knew mate, if only you knew.Bet you call them if ever you need them though.....I think Sky TV asked for the Sunday ko, NCFC then took the $$$''s for the live transmision....you numpty
6.  biggleyellow wrote:  Citizen Journalist Foghorn wrote: I know we need a police force but it seems to me to take a certain type of a**h*** to join.  Bunch of idiots IMO. You trying doing the job mate, its harder enough without people like you................... I have seen enough run-ins with coppers to know how much of a bunch of idiots most of them are...  I mean, the hassle some guys get for a few swears at people who can''t even hear them 30 yards away seperated by innumerable officers in the corner!!  Pathetic. Difficult to police a game.....  You lot must love the overtime for a relaxing standing in the sun creating problems if you are bored. What about when  a QPR Keeper was attacked by a fan, after about 2 minutes finally stewards appeared to break it up.  What on earth the coppers were doing while this assault went on I will never know. It becomes entirely obvious how bad it must be to live in a police state - all the power handed to these jerks....   A bunch of jackasses in the main. agreed.. where the police when that fan went after Ian Walker... where were the police when that celtic fan goaded dida...   If either of those 2 fans had been nutters with concealed blades then dida and Walker would be dead today.... nice to know the police treat swearing at someone more seriously isnt it? I should of offered him a donut   Jerks???? Really? Just so you''re aware, and it''s a shame you don''t get the facts before posting. If a fan encroaches onto the pitch it is the job of the stewards to go on and get them. Please check before posting. Thank you
7. The level of policing for every game is proportionate to the intel they receive.Whether you like it or not the amount of policing on Sunday proved to be adequate.I understand that there was only one arrest (Ips fan) and no major incidents. There was a large group of Norwich fans that attempted to ''get to'' the Ips crowd as they were escorted back to their coaches and trains.Had the police not been there it would definately have been a large case of disorder.People who travelled by car, I''m informed, were advised to park at the coach park too.Obviously there will be people who indepentently travel and that cannot be avoided.Perhaps you''d like to write to the Chief of Norfolk Constabulary and ask to be involved in next years match day proceedings and have look from behind the scenes........I truly believe you''ll be surprised!Either way, they''re not going to please everybody all of the time.I appreciate those that were subjected to ''heavy handed'' tactics will be annoyed - that, I cannot defend.Let''s just imagine if they hadn''t been there and it had all ''kicked off'' and there were numerous innocent people injured???Hmmm, let me think of the slating they would''ve got then.Apologies for the ''tool'' insult, but I cannot see how keeping a match day a safe place to be can be critised so much???Damned if they do, damned if they don''t eh?
8.
I think it''s all ridiculous, the level of policing.  Since when have us or Ipswich had seriously bad fans?  You see many derby with two worse sets of fans with not anywhere near as many police as this one.
another ''tool'' on here...are you seriously suggesting we should allow our fans to mix in?????You haven''t a clue mate.......
9. no major incidents, both sets of fans kept apart despite their best attempts to meet uponly one arrest all day (Ips fan)well done boys in blue I sayIf you were being a ''tool'' then you deserved to be spoken toas for letting the away fans do whatever they want....get realand they DO NOT  have to give you their name, that''s what the collar number is for
10. so who''s good enough, and who doesn''t cut it??? based on their ability to get us safe from RELEGATION:- Marshall - good enough, mostly.  flappy on crosses.  OK. agree Otsemobor - defensive nightmare - not good enough. mistake ridden, nowhere near eddy.  BIN. agree Murray - ok centre back but thats all, makes errors when tired - could be good enough if fit enough - is a nightmare at leftback though?  JURY OUT.  keep Shacks - still losing concentration and making mistakes - better with a settled player alongside like dublin. OK  agree dublin - makes mistakes, good leader - but too old to play all the time - BIN nope, keep - good for morale/youngsters doc - looked better of late - but not upto malky standard and makes mistakes - takes too long to get fit after injury - a luxury we can''t afford right now.  BIN agree Drury - looking better this year for me - still good enough.  OK totally disagree, long ball merchant Hucks - injuries and age not helping - still quality, but unless he scoring and creating then too much of a defensive liability.  good enough, esp when fully fit again  OK disagree, he''s a luxury we can''t afford whilst bottom of the league - harsh but threu I''m afraid Jarvis - lightweight - league 1 standard for me. BIN  totally agree, he''s not good enough for league 1 either Russell - lots of energy - hampered by lack of a good midfield partner - JURY OUT.  keep, will battle in the basement dogfight brellier - lacks energy to say the least.  if we ever see him fully fit?? not good enough at present.  BIN ok if fit, if not - BIN smith.  - not seen him play.  JURY OUT agree Lappin - lightweight - occasional decent cross, but clueless on goal assists.  BIN agree Hartson - too fat and old/unfit - we should be getting a younger fitter version in.  BIN disagree, we won''t get younger versions - we''re bottom of the league so he''s all we can attract - harsh but true Strihavka - trys hard, no real chances - outfought by stout defenders.  not good enough.  BIN agree, his 2nd touch is a tackle! fozzy - better now fitter - not good enough though.   BIN  agree brown - league 1 for me.  BIN agree Spillane - better in midfield - has promise, thats all just now.  next season player. BIN FOR NOW  keep, will come good Croft - gives his all - unable to supply quality crosses or goal assists.  but, could be good enough. OK  hmmm, jury out for me, still looks overweight, not a 90min player Martin - good enough, but confidence shot to bits.  loan him out - he''ll score plenty for incy. BIN FOR NOW loan is good idea cureton - proved he can do it - why not with us.  good enough. OK  needs the service that he got at Colchester, will try for the cause tho i think we''re short of a right back, decent centre half for shax to partner, a creative midfielder, a strike partner for curo (howard would do, a fitter version of hartson).  agree, plus a new left backso yeah, i reckon the squad is not upto it, even with a decent manager in (lets hope so).  i reckon it would take £2-3m to get the players in, most on loan - a price well worth paying to escape the drop.
11. If the rumour/story turns out to be true...........Tell me you''re not surprised by this?  Lil'' ol'' Naaarridge doin'' it on the cheap as usual.  Come on, things never change do they?I sincerely hope that they DO NOT give it to him, but I have that sinking feeling already.
12.
Alas Barclay may now be a man but still thinks a boy. Hartson was appalling after the first fifteen minutes- out of breath; out of ideas; out of movement. Yes he knows where the goal is but no he does not have the ability to find it. He has done well in the past but had his day-he should retire with good grace. The guy on Canary Call was spot on. Is this really the best we can get on loan?
Yep, that''s the sad truth!
13.
How long will he last,i reckon by the look off him about 30 seconds
Yep but if he scores the winner you''ll all cheerHe has more passion in his little finger than the rest of the team put together, give him a chance and then if you''re all right about him take to the forums and batter him, until then be thankful  we have a player who''ll care and try.  Huckerby could learn a thing or two from someone like JH and his will to win ...shame he''s such a lardy really!
14.
Why does Darren Huckerby persist on coming out in the press and spouting his mouth off?  He plays for Norwich City.  We are a club who has always sold it''s best players, much like any club of our size.  Deal with it, and stop slagging your team mates off.  No wonder there is a lack of team spirit at the moment.  Why can''t he concentrate on running into dead ends, unconvincing dives in the box and flattering to deceive, rather than constantly whining that his poker buddies have left the club.  He is under the impression that his comments count for something, that he''s bigger than the club.  Well they''re not and he definately isn''t.  And to say that we are "not the biggest payers".  That tells you something about the so-called "fans favourite".  Or is he just a bit jealous that no-body has made an offer for him........
great post
15.
On behalf of true Canary fans, I wish Jim Duffy all the best tomorrow.  Lets get 3 points and get climbing that table!
OMG are you serious? whilst I wish for Norwich to win every game, if we win tomorrow, he''ll get the job, NCFC choose the ''cheap'' option and once again the fans settle for 2nd (or 9th) best!!!
16.
Sutton Crook Gunn
You''re having a laugh??No experience, 2 of them never coached, the other had to travel to the other side of the world to do it in a contry where football (soccer) is rubbish. All were great players, but we''re in the deep s*** and need someone who knows what they''re doing and can work quickly.Great dream, but in reality, no wayCoyY
17. good posting until you mentioned using the Jarvis brothers x
18.
Please. Why not give him ten  games at least he knows all the strengths or weaknesses we have if it dont work we cant have lost much. You never know he might win the next ten games.
Don''t be daft, we need experience, not a cheap NCFC usual way out
19. I fully agree, been thro'' it 3 times and still nothing comes close
20. Why all Soooo negativeHe''ll have fire in his belly and could show a few current players a thing or two about passion and commitment! You just never know.......and he can''t be no worse than the dross on show Vs Sheff Wed/QPR?????
21. ....good money on the cheap option, not a good proven strong manager (Bruce, Warnock, Jewell)I get the feeling we''ll get the same old rubbish rolled out about the "man for the future, best of the bunch etc etc" and it''ll be an inexperienced manager like Grant was.I''ve heard clamourings for Dublin, Roberts, Gunn etc - you cannot be serious? They''ve never done it before. We''re in relegation trouble, drastic action for drastic times please. Please Norwich, don''t let the fans down again, be bold in your choices. Hope I''m wrong.
22. 1.  None of the players seem ''fired up'' to me, there were no rollockings dished out on the pitch when a mistake was made, no ''gee-ing'' up someone if a pass went astray, just shrugged shoulders and eyes rolled skywards.2. Tactics - what were they?  Brown didn''t seem to know where he should''ve been playing for a start.  3. Subs, I know Spillane had been booked but he was trying, Jarvis seemed to me to be out of the game totally apart from a couple of ''tv'' long range passes. Why not take him off?4. Subs (again), 2 strikers on the bench and a game to win. 2 youngsters in midfield and Russell on the bench when we were being over-run5. Fans - couldn''t believe how many empty seats there were, no excuses about being on tv and earl evening, either you''re a fan or your not.  Sell back your ticket if you cannot make it.6. Grant ''appeared'' resigned to defeat from his body language on the touchline7. Doc as skipper - nuff said! Before I get shouted at - I''m not a city hater, just very dispondant fan at the mo'' and wished to air my views. My opinions - that''s all folks.CoyY
