1. Sorry if this has already been posted but I am in disbelief that i read the ''family'' club are going to charge fans to watch the live link on Sunday.Have they no shame when it comes to fleecing the fans....I think all of you who have purchased for next season should be let in free then any else spare over to casual fans.  Go along and get your tickets until they''re all gone, then ticket only on Sunday - how easy was that to arrange?? **walks away shaking his head**
2. Don''t particularly wish to get involved in a slanging mATCH, NOR DO i WISH TO READ LATER THAT I AM A LIAR, THIS IS HORSESHIT ETC ETC AS PEOPLE LIKE TO PUT.......BUTi WAS TOLD ON fRIDAY THAT bOOTHROYD HAD BEEN STAYING AT sPROWSTON mANOR DURING THE WEEK, NO REASONS GIVEN, NO nORWICH cITY CONNECTION MENTIONED, JUST A PIECE OD INFO FROM A MAN WHO JUST DOESN''T NEED TO LIE TO ME.Oooops, excuse my capitals!!!!!
3.
Why does it take this many police to enforce rules at football matches ?Nothing ever kicks off anymore and theres more than there every way... all on double pay, standing around doing something minnor.Who saw them all hold hands before the scums fans got released from the stadium ?Looked like they where expecting a bosnian riot.I just find this very silly and a waste of time / money. What warrants so much police ~~?
in answer to your post...Policing levels are based on intelligence reci=eived in the lead up to the game. The reason nothing kicks off is due to the prescence and the fact that the two sets of fans are kept apartDouble pay???? Do you have any evidence to back that up?  I can tell you now that''s absolute rubbishHolding hands......you try keeping 1000+ fans at bay who some of which are hell bent on causing trouble.Very silly/waste of time eh?  Next season how about they don''t keep them at bay, then I''ll read your post about how the police didn''t bother turning up, how it''s the biggest derby in England and it wasn''t taken seriously etc etcI''m lead to believe that there were no arrests during the game, job well done for the boys in blue....er well black now!Ok let''s hear from you with something constructive to say with a few sensible suggestions as to what you think they should do.It''s too easy to sit in the comfort of your home and criticise, especially when you are posting without all the facts.Be reasonable, think about your reply and let''s be avin yer!ps, lovin'' the replies posted so far, nice to see the police being appreciated when appropriate
4. I was at the game, thought Heskey looked average against a poor team, he''s just too ''nice'' for me.I don''t want my strikers to get praise for good hold up play, good workrate, I like them to get judged on goals tally, the rest is bread and butter stuff (eg Shearer)I had rio to score first and a 3-1 win so for a while I was 500quid up, but was really pleased that Defoe scored.Only difference on the night was the fitness levels IMHOJames, still looks shakyBrown - keeping shirt warm for neville or richardsCole - apart from mistake, played ok with no-one wide left to assist him (booing was a disgrace)Rio - couple of lapses in concentration but was continually gee-ing up the team, goal well takenUpson - solid, job doneTheo- v v v quick, some good runs but wasn''t given the service some of his runs deservedGerrard - not a right sided midfield player, too deep in 2nd half but you could see Fabio telling him what to do from sidelines, he was following orders playing out of position.  Sprayed some lovely cross field passes and on another day a couple of his 1-2''s around the box would''ve come offlampard - steady, playing slightly to the left, still a quality player, never stopped tryingBarry - did nothing wrong, perhaps unlucky to be taken offRooney - NOT a left sided striker, looked so much better in 2nd half thro'' the middleHeskey - not for me, did ok on the night tho (see above)SWP - looked ultra-keen to impress, injected some pace, unlucky not to start on that showDefoe - hungry as ever, goal well taken as he had time to think about it.  Good foil for RooneyBeckham - quality crosses, came on, had a word with Gerr and Lamps and then put his foot on the ball and took some authority. Shame he''s getting on as he looks class stillwell that''s my opinion from up in the stands
5. will be there, no yellow and green though, it''s a white shirt day for me!
6. Saw GR today at 1pm (ish) standing all alone i his NCFC tracksuit on a grass verge on the A11 just before the Thetford roundabout! Not really that exciting but thought I''d share it as it just looked odd!!??
7. cracks me up....all a new design??? - hasn''t it been their training kit for the past season or so???Still, it''s nicer than most of the past designsCoyY''s
8. I have to say I''ll never forget Bruce''s header against Ipswich in the Milk Cup semi-final...I was standing in the old Barclay and seemed to be right in line with the ball as it hit the net....can''t ever remember a moment like it at CR
9. Last night was a team minus Lupoli, Bell, Kennedy, Drury, The new CB, The new young Striker, and the Other Big Stiker due in 7-14 days. That lot could make a big difference very true
10. Calm down, new signings take time to bed in and I''m sure GR is the man to take Norwich City forward.Spurs did pass it around better but they are a Premiership team albeit a mid-table one.Dos Santos and Modric looked like good prospects but then so did Hoolahan who IMO would''ve slotted into the Spurs side nicely. It''s a shame NC didnt attack more because Spurs are frail at the back, in the second half they had 2 DM''s playing at centre half!Pattison looked like a duck out of water but he was left exposed a few times and Lennon is an international winger again albeit a mediocre one.A season is judged over many games not a friendly which in truth had both teams playing at 60% capacity. The only real difference for me was that Spurs were able to knock it around crisply and accurately, and that they had a 16m striker, albeit one they would sell in a heartbeat. If the performances are that bad well into the winter then start to panic and complain.Come on you Yellows
11.
thanks for replying Perhaps I misread you and I apologise if that is the case , It just seems that a lot of Spurs Fans ( not you necessarily ) have an attitude that they are great and NCFC are just there for their training exercise Like you I hope for a good game and a friendly atmosphere
cheers mate, you too
12. Don''t worry, I think most Spurs fans would like to boo him...you go ahead....what a waste of money - total joke
13. woah there gary, I was not in any way trying to come over high and mighty, I was sincere in my posting, not for one minute suggesting spurs were bigger or better than norwich, or anyone for that matter. Spurs are not a big club anymore (which saddens me) and I dont think we are lowering ourselves by being at CR tonight. I I am hoping for a great game tonight with players on show from both teams that I am looking forward to see in action!I wish we had 7 new signings, and I could care less about norwich doing well, my best mate is an avid fan, season ticket holder etc and I love his attitude to his team, I am in awe slightly of the loyalty shown to norwich city by their fans.can''t believe you''ve reacted so strongly to what I thought was a level headed posting....oh well
