Cantwell situation "brewing".....
Michael Starr replied to lake district canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Cantwell's final season. Goals 0 Assists 0 Social Media Posts 735 -
They're gonna bottle it. They could drop into the playoffs by end of season and we sneak in, then Wembley final potential? Holy crap how crazy would that be

Brighton pissing about at the back
Michael Starr replied to CANARYKING's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Works really well if you have the players to do it. When most Championship sides do it, it's frightening. -
Could Farke have turned it around?
Michael Starr replied to The Great Mass Debater's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
100% no, the issues were way beyond Farke -
Barnes getting a bit of stick

Would rather have players like Barnes in and around the squad than not tbh -
Connor Southwell et al
Michael Starr replied to CardiffCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Ironic Delia showing Ageism towards Connor. Doesn't matter how young or old he is, the question (however poorly executed it was) was a genuine public interest question to probe with and they came back with "You have no idea" then mocked his age. -
Sargent is back by Christmas!
Michael Starr replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Back in squad training but I think it'll take another 2-3 weeks to get him back up to speed. So mid-January? -
Honestly, Delia came across soo incredibly badly on the interviews. She clearly now sees our "divorcee" supporters in a low light and firmly believes Stuart Webber is a god who was hard done by. It feels like they've built up an us vs them mentality in their ivory tower. I think they need to go now. She kept barking on about how we don't know anything. We have no idea. Maybe be more transparent then? I think the fans would accept downward form occasionally provided there was a clear bigger picture project laid out. Give us something to get behind and support, but when you go from exciting football with a strong academy and a clear picture on where we want to be to signing free transfer 33 year olds, after signing Dean Smith, it's pretty clear that they were throwing mud at walls and hoping some of it to stick.

Kieran Dowell looking to leave Rangers

Will Farke take him to Leeds as a squad player I wonder -
Can we make it three wins in a row?
Michael Starr replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I'm calling it right now. We are going to get absolutely hammered tonight against Watford. I mean thumped. Watford have actually been playing much better lately. We've been absolute garbage. I think this is the moment when the form flips both ways. -
I still remember the last "exciting" Carlisle takeover. Michael Knighton. That went through really quickly too.

Looks like our midfielder had a good game..
Michael Starr replied to East Rider's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I also feel that English mentality plays a part. We're more of an underdog spirit nation and overwhelming pressure put on the players for tournaments is just insane. -
Hwang on in there..
Michael Starr replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He just needs to score against Ipswich to qualify as a legend. -
Danial Farke and Sam Byram
Michael Starr replied to Myra Hawtree's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He's a good Prem standard player without those injuries. When he was fit, he looked good. I can see Leeds probably have him covered in bubble wrap. -
What an amazing job for the person taking on the defensive midfielder position. Doesn't even need to go into the office.

Wagner is staying; Confirmed?
Michael Starr replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think people thought that Knapper would just come in and immediately release Wagner. That was never going to happen. Knapper needs time to assess the entire operation as it is before even considering change. Like any top position. The best leaders observe / research / learn before they make their next moves. I'm actually relieved that Knapper isn't changing anything because it kinda shows that he's not for making quick uninformed decisions. -
I'd add USA USA to that and perhaps Gunn

Welcome Ben Knapper
Michael Starr replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He needs time to sort out the mess. I hope we're not chanting Knapper out 3 weeks down the road.
