1. Alan Gow is 6ft and is generally categorised as an attacking midfielder.
2. The pitch looks to be in terrible condition, must be an advantage to the home side as they will be used to it!
3. If Gunn is looking to bring in anyone from Aberdeen, I think it is far more likely to be Scott Severin, who is out of contract in the summer and wants to move from the Dons, and who, in all probability, is a better player than Diamond!
4. Whats changed? Most importantly we have picked up 5 points under Gunn which would probably not have happened if Roeder has still been in charge and the team now appears to have the battling qualities which were sadly lacking earlier in the season!
5.
we only get injured Cetlic players, we are there hospital training ground :D
Didn''t Marshall come from Celtic, and as far as I can recall, he''s not injured!
6. Only footage I can find, apart from him taking penalties, can be found about 1m48s into the video about new Celtic players at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pQxyWazPekw&NR=1

8. Under Roeder it was quite conceivable that both of those matches would have ended in defeat. At least Gunn has introduced some battling spirit into the team. Others have pointed out that points have been shared with fellow struggling teams, but thats not a surprise as we are all battling for survival in the championship. Norwich usually, and have done this season, played quite well against the teams above them and with one or two signings (loan or otherwise) Gunn may be able to pull the club out of the mire it currently wallows in. One thing for sure, knowing Bryan Gunn''s passion for Norwich, it won''t be through a lack of trying.
9.
I live in Glasgow and in my experience this guy is rubbish. He''s about 5th choice striker at Celtic and never even gets on the bench. His only goal for Celtic came in a game against Gretna who don''t even exist any more. If Gunny thinks that this guy is the answer to our striker problem, then we really do have a problem.
That is a totally unfair assessment of Killen. He’s been out injured for around 3 months and has only recently returned to training. Admittedly his time a Celtic has seen sporadic appearances but he did have a terrific scoring record at Hibernian and will be out to prove that he can do so again.
10.
Pathetic, Pathetic, Pathetic. The happy new manager syndrome lasted a long while (not) oh The board have spent no money during the transfer window again except compensating a manager (Again) Anybody looking forward to a tough game away to doncaster??? I''m not!!
Pathetic? The only thing around here that is pathetic, is you!
11. Can''t see anything in that article where he doesn''t want a decent team and it is his job to try and maximise season ticket sales. The club has to have a business plan to present to the bank and other loan guarantors for every season and the fact that the feelgood factor is in his opinion back at the club is a positive in these difficult times. The negativity that surrounds the appointment of Gunn by many supporters reflects badly on them not the club!
12. Clubs often enquire about people they have worked with before, but that does not mean they are going to offer them a job!
13. Freudian slip in there, I meant championship not premiership, nothing like wishful thinking!
14. Asking for permission (which the club has denied) to approach him about the manager’s job is not the same thing as wanting to appoint him, it was just an enquiry, nothing more, nothing less. As for thinking Gunn is a simple solution for the board, I am sure that it was not. Those who think that Gunn will be a push over certainly don''t know him from his time in Aberdeen where on more than one occasion he stood up to Ferguson, he''s not a yes man and never will be. As for a cheap option, surely in this time of economic hardship it is better to appoint from within, rather than bring in a manager who probably wants to renew everything before getting down to working out how to keep the club in the premiership. Well to be honest we don''t have time for all that messing about and Gunn and his team will be able to get down to work straight away, time will tell whether it will be a success but going by what experienced managers and coaches have done recently at Carrow Road, he can''t be any worse!
15. I see that bastion of all things accurate the Sunday Mirror has an article today linking Norwich with a move for Bishop.
16. Hopefully he will move quickly to stop Darren O''Dea''s loan move from Celtic to Burnley and bring him to Norwich, especially as most Celtic fans don''t want him to go, rating him more highly than present Celtic captain and Scotland regular Stephen McManus.
17. The following site http://www.cardiff.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=121698 states that it was a dubious penalty and that there was minimal contact!
18. I am sick and tired hearing about Cullum! Does anyone actually know what, if anything, was on offer? And yes, I know figures have been bandied about in the media, but was this a serious indication of money on the table or just a ploy to put pressure on the board? Did he actually talk to the major shareholders and make them an offer, which they refused? Well, if he really wants the club that much and then wants to invest even more on the playing staff there is a really simple way of doing it. He could make an open offer to all the club shareholders. That way the fans will see what is being offered and if the amount per share was deemed reasonable by the smaller shareholders, and was subsequently rejected by the larger shareholders, only then could the fans question their motives. However, until that happens everything is just idle speculation!
19. By all means chant the name of a player who was a great servant for the club, but lets be realistic and acknowledge the fact that although the club could have handled it better,  it was time for him to go!
20.

Sweat a little bit in training, three hours a day.  Play on the X-Box.  Have a laugh in the showers.  Sign a few autographs.  Sit on the bench each Saturday, a few gags and laughs on the team bus.  Pick up £30k a week. Hard life.
Sounds ideal to me!
Have to say I was kidding when I said that. If I were a player in that position I think I would do all in my power to play the game. Moving to where I would be more likely to get a chance of playing and hopefully showcase my skill in an effort to get another chance with a bigger club. After all, being paid to play a sport you presumably love is a privilege not a hardship!
21. Win or lose really means very little at this stage in the season. If a win, it gets the league campaign into a slightly more positive zone and a loss would mean that the management will need to get down to serious work to ensure that losing does not become a habit. There is a long season ahead in which to improve or get worse but its too early to worry either way!

23.
There are countless examples of Clubs finances deteriorating AFTER takeovers - the latest seems to be Man City, as suggested in this article:  http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/12/manchestercity.premierleague?gusrc=rss&feed=networkfront If the Cullum offer was genuine, then of course its a great opportunity, but if its yet another rich-kid wanting to promote his business brands, as per Marcus Evans perhaps, then not such a good idea after all. We don''t know anywhere near enough about the detail of the offer to justify the current anti Delia campaign. Just headlines and guesswork.  Anyway throwing money at a problem rarely cures it other than very short term. We need long term reality decisions not knee jerk reactions to 2 disappointing away games, and I want to see a home performance on Saturday against Blackpool to make me feel better and provide a distraction from this persistant bitterness and negativity which is a plague on our Club.
Good post! As for a Cullum offer, was there one? The only thing I seem to remember reading is that he was offering to put £20 million towards transfers in exchange for a controlling interest in the club, which in effect means that if the money was all for transfers, he was expecting to gain the controlling interest for nothing! Which to be fair is never going to happen and nor should it. Indeed all self-respecting fans should see his approach exactly as it is - an insult to the club!
24. A stuttering opening to the new season, with an away defeat and the usual Carling Cup blip and people are already demanding this and that! With all the doom and gloom around you would think that it was the end of the season not the start. However, one thing that has become abundantly clear is that a big target man and perhaps a natural goalscorer are wanted immediately. Many names are being mentioned as the target man but I have an idea for a goalscorer, one that many of you will find totally laughable, but here goes anyway! It’s not a new name but one that has been linked often in the past - Derek Riordan. I know that he is not playing much at Celtic but on the rare occasion he does get a run out, he seems to score. The reason I mention him now is that Celtic have rejected a loan move to Hibs, preferring to sell him as he is entering the final year of his contract. This could be a good opportunity for Norwich, as they appear to have a good relationship with Celtic and could try and get him in on loan. Celtic could recoup some of their outgoings through a loan fee, and Norwich would be in pole position to sign him on a pre-contract agreement in the new year, assuming he has done enough to earn a permanent move to Norfolk. There you have my idea, perhaps not what the majority on here would agree with, but worth a try I would have thought!
25. Because they saw the ball cross the white line between the post twice and the Norwich forwards did not!
