1. IF we sign him, then for goodness sake give him a chance before writing him off. What have you got to gain from being so negative all of the time?
2. Why would Hoolahan signing have any effect on Eastwood potentially signing? Are you referring to the fact that they are both vertically challenged, so we would need more height in the team?
3.

Bad luck pal, it''s a horrible experience. Keep ya chin up, you''ll crack it soon!
Thanks mate. I Know I will pass soon, just annoying because I would of passed if I wasn''t for someone overtaking me!
I think I saw that. It was a little old lady with a zimmer frame wasn''t it? (Looked a bit like Delia)
LOL!
4. I agree, the prices are going to be massively inflated, it seems like most clubs are after similar if not the same players. I hope we have found some money from somewhere to be able to compete, mind you Roeder seemed confident.
5. Is there any point in us even having an academy? After all, even when we do get a special talent (eg Lewis) they are only sold on the cheap to the nearest bidder.
6. Good News Gordon is little more than an imposter, pretending to be the Messiah. He set about trying to lure people into his CAPS LOCK cult, using lies and false promises. Oh Gordon, why did you do it?
7. People please, Germany will win, mark my words!!!! By the way, suddenly I realise just how hard our original qualifying group was, when you consider the Croatians beat Germany and the Russians have now beaten Holland. We''re probably in the second tier within Europe now, talent-wise.
8. Patterson isn''t that great to be honest, I''m not sure whether Glenn would have been after him anyway.
9. Hmm not sure whether I believe you, or for that matter, whether I care...
10.

I bet that 37 year old gets more goals than Hucks would have done. Hucks was and is a legend in my eyes, but the time was right to let him go. Roeder needs to put his own stamp on the team.
Well, let''s hope it''s not a 2nd class stamp...... We frugally and prudently, normally try to get our deliveries using free-post.....
Ha, don''t we just!
11. I assumed he was referring to Andy Cole, he has been mentioned by an apparantley reliable poster on WOTB. Meant to be signing next week.
12. Dubai and Florida are two places that keep cropping up as holiday destinations for our potential future stars. Maybe some undercover work over there, dressed as a tourist would do the trick?
13. I agree with the comment about him needing to bulk up, I suppose he did look useful in those final few games.

15. Me neither I''m afraid, why do you need them in that format anyway?
16. Forest wanted to keep him, indeed they offered him a new contract. I guess we must have offered more money at the end of the day. Quite a few of their fans seem disappointed to lose him and think he will be a useful addition at this level.
17. Doc will go where the money is......like almost all professional footballers these days. Makes you realise how much of a legend Hucks was.
18. I''d wager that you know very little about which clubs are pursuing Hoolahan, because it would be little more than guess-work on your part......I agree with you about Hucks though and that it was the right time to let a legend go.
19.
Perhaps ask yourself why people feel the need to post these "nothing" threads? Possibly because although they have no concrete news they feel the need to counter the constant negativity and pessimism from some of the posters on this board, and demonstrate that some of us are feeling optimistic.
That''s a very good point Nuff Said, though I think you''ve misunderstood why I produced my original response. It was due to the fact that numerous posts were being created about the same topic - a la Ameobi! What you have said is correct, I''m an optimist myself and I''m glad others are too, I just don''t see the need to start a new thread when the information being put across was nothing different to what had already been posted on the boards.
20. I see your point, but then how would you know if there was a queue of suitors anyway, how would anyone know that for sure unless they were involved personally?? He might have plenty of clubs negotiating with him as we speak - he won''t be out of a club come August.
21. Blackpool (lived there for a while) and Wolves (most of my family support them, so always hope they slip up).
