1.
obviously some teams below us have even more? What are peoples thoughts on how many points we will achieve and what is a realistic automatic promotion points total?
Why are we writing off the 57th point to play for?
 2. Yeah, went there after the Bristol Rovers match and regretted it. Had to endure them singing their rubbish song for another couple of hours. I suppose it depends on what time the train to Tranmere leaves.
 3. It''s directly after the Tranmere match on Saturday that I''m looking to find somewhere, so it''s kind of relevant. Does it really matter in any case? I''ve seen lot''s of threads on here about where to go before/after the game.
 4. Was hoping for somewhere walkable within 15-20 mins. Cheers for the suggestion though, may check it out one day when driving.
 5. I''m relatively new to the City and looking for a good place to watch the match after THE match on Saturday? Somewhere with a good atmosphere but not too rammed would be ideal. I may also want to get settled in for the Rugby League and/or ROI v France match, so somewhere that serves good food would be a bonus.
 6.
"But we are in a much better position than many clubs".Well let us all just shut up and be thankful for what we have then.
I''m certainly not happy with what we have at the moment and I''m not telling anyone to shut up either. I personally think that we bottomed out under the Grant regime and that things will pick up, but only with additional investment to give us the funds to compete with the growing list of parachute payment clubs.
 7. Along with prudence this is probably the most popular word on this message board. It creates a lot of arguments, so I thought why not start another one? Here are my views on the matter: Since the latest accounts were published it has become clear that Norwich are always going to struggle to be profitable without significant ongoing investment. I believe that fresh investment from outside of the current Board is essential for our long term survival. At the same time I do believe that the current Board have done a decent job up until now. Admittedly we are not doing as well as our potential on the pitch and the accounts aren''t in great shape, but we are in a much better position than many clubs. It has been argued that we could have been more ambitious in our Premieship season and that everything would have been different. I for one am a bit of a gambler and would have liked to have seen us take a gamble, but it is not necessarily good business sense to do this. It could have worked and we could have become a regular fixture in the Premiership, but equally we may have still failed and ended up facing potential administration (like too numerous clubs to mention have since then). Had we have stayed in the Premiership, what then? Do we keep trying to raise our level of ambition and end up in a position such as Pompey (reportedly £60 million in debt) or maybe become a yoyo club like West Brom? I''m not sure myself. At the end of the day we are where we are and the level of ambition we are showing is what I''d expect - trying to bring in as many decent players as is possible with a small budget and not risking any further financial problems. Until we receive fresh investment this is unfortunatley all we can do.
 8.
101, your post is just sensible and honest in my view, but really Boards like this just don''t matter, as they tend to be dominated by vociferous minorities of often dis-gruntled odd balls, whose ''opinions'' mostly reflect their own failings (e.g lack of ambition) projected on to other people. It is no coincidence that the interesting posts nearly always come from the ''occasional'' poster, whereas alot of the more regular posters (not all) cannot resist reverting to name calling (happy-clappers etc), and self-righteous guff, interspersed with inane ''ha ha ha'' or ''lol'' etc etc. What does ''lol'' mean anyway? Most of us who actually go to games have a good time, and don''t mind admitting that our judgements are often flawed. Am I bothered?
I agree with a lot of this. What really nags me as well is that as soon as a relatively new poster pops up with an opinion they are immdeiately subjected to a barrage of responses saying how deluded they are and to effectively shut up because they haven''t been posting much on this bord.
 9.

Litas Record on Soccerbase http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=32646 He''s been featuring this season too. jas :)
Last season''s stats say he played in every month of last season. So when was this ''recent'' broken leg?
2006.. which ha been mentioned already on this thread... but dont let this stop you avoding the facts.. go and ask over on the Reading message boards if you dont beleive me.... jas :)
2006 isn''t that recent, especially as he played 8 games for Charlton last season after he recovered (scoring 3 goals in the process). Just out of curiosity Jas, would you take Eduardo on a month''s loan when he''s recovered? Also - Bobby Zamora''s hardly a realistic loan signing, based on the fact he starts every game for Fulham and they only just bought him for c.£4m (£6.3m combined fee with Paintsill).
 10.

Lots of different opinions of whether this is a good or bad signing, but at the end of the day what possible harm could it do? So what if it''s only a month. Would you rather have Kelly Brook as your girlfriend for 1 month, or never at all?
Never at all thanks! Holly Willoughby on the other hand.... ;) jas :)
Holly Willoughby just looks plain weird. Those dresses she wears have obviously distracted you from her ugly face.
Sorry?? she has a face!? i''ve never looked that far up.... jas :)
It''s ''cos you''re normally staring at Phillip Schofield.....

 14. Surely we must have had the chance to sign him if little old Barnsley have. I''m assuming it was a choice of 2 out of Rigters, Komora & Lupoli. Are people happy with Glenn''s choice if that is the case?
 15.

Paul McVeigh Matt L-Jean Kevin Harper (loan during promo season)
ridiculous. mcveigh wasn''t anywhere near that bad. louis-jean, however, was awful. so was andy hughes. de waard was also a terrible excuse for a footballer
Its my opinion mate, like it or lump it![:p]
I''m guessing you first saw McVeigh in the season when he was top scorer and then subsequently went down hill, otherwise you would have realised that he had at least 3 decent seasons with us. I may be wrong! He also happens to be a legend. We love you Paul McVeight, la la la la la.......
