1.
the pigman wrote the following post at 2014-02-04 2:56 PM: I know all you very helpful people on here will help me here, ankle in plaster, non weight bearing,2 crutches,, getting on a bit,how easy is it getting in the ground, lower river end but still some steps then sitting in quite cramped postion then getting out the ground without being in the way of the masses.Dont say leave before the end as I feel most people will be doing that on Sat.So yes I will leave at full time, thats sorted.I think some of you may say its not worth the bother but already missed 2 home games and cant face another afternoon of radio Norfolk finding out the goal they thought we just scored has in fact gone out for a throw in.So any advice from you lot helpful or just taking the p*ss wil be very welcome. Hi, a mate of mine recently had a similar problem, season ticket holder. He contacted the club who arranged for him to use the disabled area for two matches - I think you will find them obliging in the circumstances.
Bit late on this one but the bloke who deals with disability access at Carrow Road is Steven Graham.I''ve dealt with him before and he''s usually pretty helpful. He may be able to get you in the disabled seats in front of the Jarrold Stand near the N & P or failing that there is the disabled viewing gallery in the Community Stand corner. It''s not at ground level and access via the lift is a bit slow but the view is better but it''s behind glass. ( You sometimes end up with a post across the goal-line. )Good luck
 2.
"Relegation would be catastrophic" ........What I know for sure is that it is going to be tense and exciting ...........
No doubt about the first bit but the second ?It may well be in LDC-land but for the rest of us probably not.
 3. Eh ? I know I don''t get out much but I haven''t a clue what this post is about.
 4.
That''s a question of personal pride. As many pesky furriners have that as British players. If you listen to Alex Tettey''s interview yesterday you may decide that he really cares.
They''re not pesky '' furriners '' Nutty. Many of them are far better and more '' committed '' than British players but, like most jobholders these days, they expect to move around a lot more than they once did. Of course Alex Tettey cares and so he should but he''s not going to care as much as those old stalwarts - who often ended up getting a testimonial - from the days when us two first started going to Carrow Rd.Blame it on freedom of contract if you like but the loyalty just doesn''t exist much anymore.
 5.
Promoted in 04 we were.
Went down in 1985 and 1995 too.Not quite b*ggered yet.....
 6.
That we will beat Man City next week and West Ham the following Tuesday. Don''t know why but I am defo going to put money on it.
Well don''t put too much on it as there''s nothing to spend it on in the asylum [:D]
 7.
I didn''t go. I didn''t watch the stream either. I watched the extended highlights on match choice and I didn''t chant either. To be fair our supporters were tremendous again. I honestly believe that kind of support from the stands can lift the team. Remembering and seeing again how loyal and supportive our fans are at games could well have provoked Bellamy''s attack on the Cardiff fans.
Yes I saw his interview on MOTD Nutty. Fair play to Bellamy there.
 8.
Joking aside this is a real concern. If we are to lose we must avoid a thrashing. We have the 3rd worst GD in the league now and with it being so tight there is every chance it could come down to GD.
Relax. LDC will be along soon to tell us he''s lumped his house on the draw so all will be OK.....[;)]
 9.
What suggests they don''t care?
It''s not exactly that they don''t care Nutty but the whole balance in football shifted years ago. Back in the day players would often stay at a Club for many years and even if they didn''t originate from the same area as their Club would, over time, often develop much more of a bond with their team mates and the supporters. The influx of foreign players hasn''t helped this bonding. Almost all are '' ships in the night '' who everyone knows will be moving on sooner rather than later and, as CanaryOne said earlier, are even less likely to regard their whole professional playing career as anything other than a series of jobs.
 10. If Chris Hughton has any compassion at all he won''t play any of the players who featured in the 7-0 annihilation at their place.Anyone who has to go through two nightmares like that is bound to be pushed over the edge.......[:D]
 11.
These players all seem to have that honesty when they''re interviewed. It''s more interesting to hear them than the manager who quite rightly protects his players. Hughton didn''t look as calm as normal today though.
I''d agree with that Nutty.Hughton looked quite edgy. Even with his ultra-cautious pre-match approach he must have been confident of getting at least a point today and seemed quite shocked that we didn''t. The truth is we played well for most of the game and certainly didn''t deserve to lose.Unfortunately the bottom line is we lost to what is probably the worse team in the division and we''re now in serious danger of slipping out of this League.I dread to think how he''ll look in the interviews after next week''s car crash match at Carrow Rd......
 12.
I reckon we should start with all 18 named in the squad.
We''d still be lucky to score nil [:D]
 13. Got to go for damage limitation but whoever the unlucky 11 are we''re going to get mullered.
 14.
Stream commentator says Cardiff have only one once this season after going behind, against Man City though, and Kenwynne Jones hasn''t scored since Dec 2012.Is this good or bad news ?
Someone talked that up then.......
 15. Poor from Snodgrass against Zaha there...........going down like a sack of spuds.
 16. Stream commentator says Cardiff have only one once this season after going behind, against Man City though, and Kenwynne Jones hasn''t scored since Dec 2012.Is this good or bad news ?
 17. No surprise there..........we sometimes think we''ve got a raw deal with the way things are run at Norwich but LUFC''s a complete basket case.
 18.
Whilst there may be a moderately amusing "it p**ses off Villa" angle to this its certainly not hilarious. The only consolation I can think of is that Wes can come back in the summer when hopefully this boring little man we have managing us has gone for good but if true loaning him to west Brom is idiotic. They are far more of a relegation rival than Villa. They have just lost Sessegnon to injury for a while but we are proposing to help them out by loaning them one of our most creative players. I am just staggered and (unless we have a top notch replacement coming in his place) will be livid if this happens. If only Hughton had been sacked weeks ago none of this would be happening.
Wasn''t there a Jim Smith on here a couple of weeks ago saying that as we''re stuck with Chris Hughton he''d lay off for a bit ?Must be someone else......[:D]  [;)]
 19.
Fair point, and guess there are some on every forum...... Thanks for your input, do you know how long it took me to type that on an ipad mini......
Hell of a lot less than I''d take......... if I knew what one of those was in the first place [:D]
 20.

. If Tuesday''s showing had been a ''one-off '' fair enough but it happens far too regularly under this manager.
This seems to me the key point in this debate. Everyone is prepared to accept the occasional ''bad day at the office''. Because from time to time it is offset by days ''when everything goes right''.But, under Hughton, these are not just one -offs. It has become the norm. And, if we are honest about it, there has been no equivalent of the Man U, Arsenal, West Brom moments from last season, has there? He is living on borrowed time  now.
It is this key point that LDC cannot or will not acknowledge.I know people have different slants on things but as Reggie says the football dished up against Newcastle has become the norm. From recollection I can only think of two occasions all season where I felt comfortable while watching that we would win : Stoke away and Cardiff at home ( the Cardiff game we couldn''t have done much more and not score ). Not a great return. We all want to enjoy some exciting football again but under this manager we''re as far away from that now as we were when he first arrived.Fair play to LDC for holding his ground on this but if he thinks us doubters are blinkered he''s equally as guilty too.
 21.
You sound like Hughton mark 2!   Get a grip LDC, how many times this season is the same performance against teams no better than us, Fulham, West Ham unitl they gifted us a goal need I go on?   It was boring, we had no effort, no idea how to play the basic game, you can''t say what you have as an explanation for our teams perfromance in that first half!   Yep keep making excuses and things will be fine. It''s boring to watch, we can''t keep the ball, Ruddy keeps hoofing the ball to two strikers who don''t hold the ball up, we have two wingers who can''t cross on a consistant bases and we don''t have a midfield (Excluding Howson) who get froward to support the front men.   We sit deep and invite pressure, it''s basic football.
Agree with this 100%.I''m afraid LDC just cannot or will not see that he''s made too many excuses for too long. That 1st half was shocking and although we did improve in the last 45 mins if we''d nicked it with that late Snodgrass header it would''ve been daylight robbery. If Tuesday''s showing had been a ''one-off '' fair enough but it happens far too regularly under this manager. If we reproduce that 1st half display for our next home game then it''ll be a miracle if the visitors aren''t at least four goals to the good by the interval, with or without Aguero.
