1. dave im already depressed at being bottom of the league. this has just about finished me off. we cannot appoint parkinson
2. i dont want pulis or parkinson. i would like in order jewell grayson tilson newell
3. just because there taking there time does not mean they are not going to employ some unknown. my support for them ran out along time ago. ( come on delia lets be hearing from you ).
4. does smith play up front ? well she dont'' pay up front anymore.
5. sorry wiz your magic ball is clouded this time. duffy will not be boss. if he had won the last two games i think he would have been, but not now.
6. can they be trusted to get it right this time. as you said they have got it wrong nearly every time they appoint a manager. if they take to much more time we could be bottom of the league, then its going to be a season of relegation fight. if its not already.
7. he did well at colchester, but was a disaster at hull. imo to appoint him would be a massive gamble. a gamble we can''t take.
8. it didnt take bolton long to appoint megson ( could be a bad move though ). so why is it taking us so long ? perhaps the board are confused.
9. if pulis is given the job, the board will have to go ! he is a manager who will keep us in this division, but thats it. and stoke fans say his style of football is cr@p.
10. i think he did his job. remember grant himself said he turned down a number of loan signings. so if new boss wants him he should stay.
11.
As an Ipswich fan and thus totally impartial (!), i feel best placed to comment.   Jewell will not go to Norwich. I''m frankly amazed that people on here seriously countenance the idea that he will. I know it''s only a few of you who do this, and i know that there is circumstantial evidence to support the theory (i.e. your board strangely saying that no-one will be appointed til November when Jewell would supposedly become available), but take off your yellow tinted glasses and look at the situation. Despite the abuse they recieve, professional football players/managers clearly need to be deeply motivated and focused individuals in order to get where they are in an unbelievably competitive career path, intent on achieving the most they can in what is a short career. You wouldn''t expect a Premier League quality player to play in the Championship for the challenge, or to be under less pressure, or to play for a club in a full stadium, so why would you expect a manager to do this? If Jewell manages in the Premier League it benefits him personally (wages, prestige) and professionally (better standard of player, bigger transfer budget, bigger wage bill). It is inexplicable that he would ignore these incentives to manage a struggling Championship side and risk ruining his reputation by dropping down to League One. and we care what you think because....................................................................................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 By the way, this is not meant to be a provocative post, i just noticed that you did the same thing last year with Curbishley as you are with Jewell at the moment, and I think those people who support these theories seriously misunderstand what kind of people professional footballers are..
12. shyster by name. shyster nature. isnt our next manager the most important thing at the moment.
13. william hills and bet365 both have gary megson as odds on to be next boss. i know leicester have refused to let him speak, but hes still there fav. dont say this to loud but. could paul jewell be coming to carra road ? ok im sorry i know im dreaming.
14. i have stated all along that i hope the new manager will be jewell. would be a bit surprised if he went to bolton because of the pressure of relegation from the prem, that''s why he quit wigan. a relegation fight from the championship does not have the same amount. would like to know who he''s under contract to though ? as he quit wigan 5 months ago, does that not mean contract over ?
15. oh stop it, laughed so much i spilt my cuppa.
16. you need time, this is excatly what i said in summer and everyone was on their high horses going he scored this he done this is czech league he going be goal machine blah blah LISTEN give him time... he looks promising but needs to adapt if you put added burden on his shoulders he prob will crumble n do crap we8wba. go away i dont care what you think.
