Either that or they've just taken the salaries from FM and assumed they're accurate -

Everton again and now Forest

Whilst I do agree, the man city comparison is a little misleading as their breaches were all under older sets of the rules... Chelsea on the other hand... -

Whereas I have little sympathy for them, if they knew hay they couldn't take a lower offer without breaching ffp then they shouldn't have signed the players that took them over the limit until the sale was complete. Also, the £20m for Andy does probably include add one, yet so will the £45m they're claiming for selling Johnson... -

That Johnson deal is also an "up to" so will probably be far lower... -

How do you remove crusts naturally? Leave the loaf out for mice to nibble them away? -
They seem to have done everything they can to crop the ball out of it and remove any context... It's almost like whoever edited it had an agenda....

Whilst I do agree that there seems to be a spreading malaise both on the pitch and in the stands, we are still only 5 points off the playoffs, whilst getting promoted would probably end up being another disaster, at least getting in them would give a positive vibe to take into next season...

What an earth is knapper waiting for ?…

Here's a radical idea, perhaps he wants to actually fix things? We keep getting told how rotten the club is on the inside, that doesn't come from the manager. We are in a transition of owner, not really in danger of going down this season and if we went up totally unsuited to compete. Perhaps he is keeping his powder dry to identify what else needs changing and address more than just the manager when we actually have the new owner in a better position to provide a foundation to build on for a sustainable promotion.... Or I'm just an idealistic optimist, either works... -

Fine finish, though a little hint of handball to set him up... -
Whilst I do agree, the point that was being challenged was about him not getting enough first team minutes and the chances of that being even slimmer at Chelsea... From a career perspective there is almost no doubt that he is better off at Chelsea than with us (unfortunately), even if he is only there a few years he could earn enough to last him a lifetime (if he properly handles it)
-
Whilst they may have produced more top level pros, how many minutes have they actually had on the pitch for Chelsea first team? It seems like the bulk of the former Chelsea pros are farmed out until they get sold and then have a good career, but a far greater number don't... I would be willing to wager that over he last 5 years we have given more competitive minutes to our young prospects than Chelsea have.

With all of the recent discussion on new forums and what would happen should this one close, I'm curious, what are the first and second rate forums we can discuss Norwich on? -

BBC story has been updated with more details, but essentially the top 8 on each league go into 2 legged knockout competition with the bottom 2 of the star and gold being replaced by the finalists of the gold and blue respectively. The bottom 20 in the blue league get replaced with the top performing teams in the national leagues... However they also say it would run as midweek fixtures so that the clubs could all be in the domestic leagues still... Which doesn't seem to work in terms of fixture congestion.... -

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67787981 Well that didn't take long.... How does a 16 team league co-exist with domestic leagues considering the fixture congestion the top clubs already complain about? Let alone a 32 team league! -

So being a pedant about this, the ruling is only in relation to uefa and FIFA, the individual, national leagues can still apply their own rules... -

Whilst that is true the governing bodies do not have to let anyone join their competitions, otherwise things like stadium requirements wouldn't work. All competitions have rules and eligibility criteria, if they break them or don't meet them then they the competition organisers should be within their rights to exclude and/or sanction. The problem is uefa and the pl want the bug teams to leave less than the big clubs want to, this is heading the same way as the LIV/PGA conflict... -

Sweeping generalisation ahoy... We had to rehome of our cats after we had our first kid because he was allergic to them, but some animals don't like children regardless of how the child is towards them. One of our friends had to give away one of their dogs because they couldn't trust it to be left alone with the baby, the dog used to position itself between our friend and the kid and growl and get aggressive whenever the friend was holding said baby. It's not all about training of either the pet or the kid, sometimes it's just unlucky...
