1. Robbie Savage! definately, my favourite footballing moment was seeing him whine at a Bolton player, only to see Boltons two Giant centre backs beariong down on him- classic, he was petrified. Alan Smiths tackle the other night was tasty too!!
2.
Sorry Beno and Coney! I didn''t mean to sound fierce if thats how my posting came across! I was only asking you what made you so anti-Leon out of interest because I was so surprised by him being in your bottom five. Thanks for the explanation I appreciate your point but still have to say I am a bit of a Leon fan personally. Sorry for any offence ... none intended   Never Mind the Danger
none caused mate
3. Just to clear 1 thing up, i never said i hated anyone, there are only one or two footballers i hate and none have played for Norwich. Robbie Savage springs to mind.
4. Check out the latest transfer rumours, 7 premiership teams want mackenzie! 7 million quid ive heard. Do you watch the matches mate?
5. "Sorry Beno27, but you''ve tried to justify your point with selective statistics. I''m not saying you are lying, but i''f you compare Leon''s and Ashton''s Premiership record, since Ashton joined, it reads very similar" that not selective then??
6.
Sorry Beno27, but you''ve tried to justify your point with selective statistics. I''m not saying you are lying, but i''f you compare Leon''s and Ashton''s Premiership record, since Ashton joined, it reads very similar:   McKenzie -  On Pitch for 1390 minutes, 6 goals scored. at an average of a goal every 221 minutes. Ashton     - On pitch for 1451 minutes, 7 goals scored at an average of a goal every 207 minutes So this makes Deano about 6% better than Leon. Hardly 4 times. Mckenzie has a good record (at Peterborough and in the fizzy league), works his socks off for the club. and so to call him hated is pretty pathetic imo. I don''t hate anyone, but my list of liked and disliked goes.... Liked:  1. Eadie. 2. Hucks. 3. Malkay. 4. Flem. 5. A.Johnson (many people forget he was a top player when with us) Disliked. 1. Megson. 2. Sutch. 3. Llewellyn. 4.Coote. 5.Akinbiyi
at no point did i say i hated mckenzie, not being able to reads pathetic too
7.
as ive previously said, i think that the summer will see many, many changes. players and or managers will be going in / out at quite a rate me thinks.
hope youre right Rossi46, not being a WO just would like to see a few changes, not deano though!!!!
8. Thanks Coney, well said! Anyhoo, i''ll try and justify my point: Mckenzies 2005: Games : 37 Goals : 7 corners won: 35!!! league average for strikers was just 11, all he ever does is run it to the corners! watch him next time he manages to get fit for a game, i think he plays for corners! Dean Ashtons 2005: played:40 Goals:27 in just 3 more games ashton scored 20 more goals, I think that calculates to deano being about 4 times the player leon is, you do the maths. harsh to compare him to the best player ive seen playing for norwich but i''ll bet mcveigh has a much better record if we consider assists (mckenzie got 3) hes played midfield a lot too. Leon has passion yes, but you could put me on that pitch and i''d play with passion and give 200%, and i still wouldnt be any good, however I''m 15 and would have a chance to get better, Leon is 28 and in his ''prime''. a good game against ipswich has secured his future by the looks of things, sounds like worthys way of judging players to me.
9. Loved: Deano, Nedergaard, Svensson, Gunn, Nielsen Disliked (hate is such a strong word!): Thorne, Mckenzie, Bentley, Marshall, Easton
10. Could definately do a job at this level and i see no reason we shouldnt give him a short term contract with such a shortage of strikers with quality apart from ashton
11.
What about Jim Brennan or does Canadian not count??? It can take a lot for foreign particularly south americans to fit in. For all the Ozzie Ardieles, Faustino Asprilla, and Ricky Villas, there are also the Juan Veon, Juan Pablo angel, Diego Forlan, Gilberto Silvas who have struggled to fit in. You can also look at what happened to our neighbours when they bought ''continental''. Ulrich le pen, Mateo Sereni, Fenidi George. There is a big culture shock between continental and in the english first division, its much safer and more reliable to go with home grown.
rather a veron than a hughes
12.
He would be a good addition, and would probably signal the end for mckezie or jarvis because he is not a target man and therfore not a replacement for ashton. We have Ashton, Thorne who are target men, and then hucks, mcveigh, mckenxie, hendo, and ryan J who can play the other roles. It seems if we sign someone like mcsheffery someone else may go.
I hope hes a replacement for Mckenzie myself, I''m not a big Mckenzie fan and its clear that Jarvis has more of a future, I would love to see Jarvis break in to the team or at least moveahead of Mckenzie in the pecking order.
13.
he''s got pace to burn and can score, and would be a good addition to the squad - but can he play right wing?  That''s the posi that needs most attention.
no he cant play Right Wing but he, thats not to say Worthy wont change his position, I''ll sure he''ll be... erm... wonderful there. Hey, Jim Brennan was never a centre midfielder, neither was Simon Charlton, and lets not forget the masterstroke of playing Svensson left wing and Thorne right wing!
14. if they made it up then it would be a groin injury, cant show that off. I doubt they did though.
15. good job otherwise we''d have got hoshed lol
16. ..... autographs for children
17.
and ashton dont, he could afford to lose half a stone but of course i forgot he is the darling so it does not matter.
Right matey boy, what the hells the point in telling Ashton he needs to lose weight, dont you think proffesional football players, ATHLETES, have strict diets. Most clubs dont allow a player to play with higher than 9% body fat, if your a dietician that has seen Dean Ashtons body fat percentage, THEN you can call him fat. theres a big difference between strong and fat and hes a muscly ol chap! Leave him alone, especially after he agreed to stay! I dont know why with fans like you...
18. wouldve been interesting had the boys not pulled a few wins out the bag, worthy wouldve been under huge pressure to make changes, i hope he can still see that we need strengthening
19. Yes. very good in the past, potentially good in the future. going through a sticky patch
20. I''m still a worthy outer lookin at the bigger picture but he''s bought some time
21. Attacking midfielder- Giles Coke. Centre Back- Gabriel Zakuani. leyton orient, good backup. Striker-McSheffrey.
