  1. who do you suggest should take over then?? god there is so much negativity on this site at the moment. How about a bit of optimism now and again!
  2. he will be in the premier come the new season ,linked with 3mill move to boro i believe
  3. yes we were garbage i agree, but they inflicted fatal wound that day and cant say i much liked them since. Given a straight choice i would have rathered see reading stay up
  4. took some given some.worst taken- spurs away we won 3-1 fleck got 2 i believe. best given- scum away boxing day,my mate so p****d he stood for entire 90 mins barefoot! temp -1.
  5. your joking right? i will never forgive them after putting us out of the premiership. to be honest im gutted they stayed up its the same every year. its time they taste some championship footy
  6. must admit hardhouse i am amazed hux has gone.we must look forward not back though. He was a great servant to this club and i feel he has been treated in a bad way.Roeder must have made this decision weeks ago and could have given us chance to say thanks properly.Looking at it we now have a tiny squad of i think around 14 players.lets see what the next few weeks bring though before we judge .
  7. cheers for that wisdom scummer, time for your nappy change.
  8. yes yankee, must agree,we must beat QPR , anything else is disaster, unfortunately this team is in freefall at the moment while all those around us except soton seem to be picking points up.I feel sick to the stomach at the thought of div1 footy next season.
  9. cant believe you are comparing osty to colin.they are completely different players.osty has far more quality and does something colin never did, get forward!!!
  10. Yes,i have major concerns about our defence in general but especially at cb.I find it amazing we have not got anyone yet.Sorry but the doc just doesnt cut the cheese.also why has ostemboor played such a small part in the pre season??
  11. block d ,row o,lower barclay, end of row.sat there since re developement of old terrace barclay.I think its one of the best views in the ground and usually a great atmosphere.
  12. Forgive me for stating the obvious but i am a trifle bemused as to why we have four potential first choice keepers at the club.It seems pretty obvious the loan players granty has mentioned will be going out for experience must include at least one keeper.to be honest ,i am amazed gallagher is still a norwich player and i put him fourth choice behind the other three. Our lack of cover in the centre of defence also concerns me and am surprised we havnt strengthened there.well done pg for the signings already made.
  13. sorry phat.i really think thats a negative post.I have no qualms about replacing earnshaw with cureton.the thing is,the lad really wants to play for us unlike earnshaw who has dumped every club he has been with.Lets not forget either he was top scorer in the championship!! at 31 he has pace and a great touch, and cost us next to nothing.I am afraid because we havnt made floods of signings yet every one has adopted a knee jerk reaction to this.grant now has more funds in place and there is 6 weeks or so until the new season,so lets not panic just yet and see what happens.
  14. tracy or gallagher for me. warner is a good keeper ,we have seen a lot worse between the sticks here
  15. i must admit,im not over impressed with what i have seen so far, lets hope over time he will improve
  16. mine was in a week ago. it would be unthinkable not to renew.its in my blood
  17. i have to agree,i would rather have flem in the team instead of donkerty!at the moment.i think he has been loaned out to put him in the shop window so to speak.i can still see him going to the cherries as part of the hayter deal
  18. blame who you like dicky, but we all know where the real problem lies at this club.i paid 340 quid for my season ticket in the barclay as i have done every season since i was a kid and i think that entitles me to have my say whether we are top of the league or struggling near the bottom! i dont just stick my head in the sand and pretend nothing is wrong.
  19. here we go!!! unable to hold on to a lead or a draw, god we are poor.
  20. there is some quality in the team though you wouldnt know it by recent performances. At sunderland we were toothless and it was only a matter of time before they scored.Yesterday we were truly bad and deserved nothing.there is much dead wood at carrow road and, coupled with our paper thin, lightweight squad we are going nowhere this season.I said when grant took over we were a mid table outfit and we remain that.
  21. it was always on the cards wasnt it?.Great result, come on you yellows
  22. i agree with the wizard here. im sorry i just cant see where we are coming from by appointing peter.Obviously i wish him success but he is not the big name we all expected.I also see it as a lack of ambition on the clubs behalf.is he going to be given transfer money in january??.it worries me he has no managerial experience, and dont see him being the motivational catalyst we need.and before you all start,i want whats best for this club and dont just moan for the sake of it,but surely he hasnt been appointed because he came accross well at the interview!!!.Sorry but a mid table championship side is what we are and im afraid thats what we are staying with this set up.
